August 25, 2023 5.0 Pros Assetbots has been a gamechanger in our companies IT department. We have dozens of CSRs who each have computers, monitors, cables, chargers, mice, keyboard, headsets, and more on loan from the company. Before Assetbots, we regularly lost equipment and had no accountability for if a piece of equipment was broken. Now, however, we're able to get a full history of where our equipment is, why it's there, who has it, and when it's due back. Its integration with QR Codes and mobile optimization is absolutely STELLAR and allows for quick and easy check-out/check-in when a team member needs to work from home, when a new team member joins us, or when we need to swap equipment around. Cons The repairs function certainly needs some work - attempting to schedule regular repairs is a pain at the moment. However, we've built our own backdoor integration using the OpenAPI which solves this until AssetBots' official solution arrives (they've stated that scheduling repairs in the future is currently in development).Also, Checking equipment in and then out again is tedious. It would be nice to have an immediate Check In and Back Out or Transfer Equipment button, but that's just me being picky. Review Source BC Bart C. October 26, 2023 5.0 Amazing, I started with the basics, the UI was very pleasant. I had some questions about the workflow and contacted support, this was the most amazing support talk I ever had. Not only help was given, but also solutions and they contacted again with more solutions and simple direct communication.I love whoever are behind this company for real.Then whenever I find myself in a particular situation, I was able to fix/do what I need. This software is very very very very well crafted. It should be displayed as a piece of art. Pros The usability of the product is insane. Everything works as it should, every action you do has been thought very careful and it present options before you even needed. For example, when you click on a checkbox to select all item of a paged list, when you click it present a non blocking 2 options with a perfect default of:\[\] Select all of this page (10 items)\[\] Select all items (12 items)This removes doubt, anxiety and it makes you do exactly what you want to.This is one of many examples, the app is full of this little impressive usability features that I guarantee it will blown your mind. Cons There's literally nothing I don't like about Assetbots, and being a very critique person I find it hard to even write this down. Reason for choosing Assetbots It was very easy decision actually. It's YEARS ahead of the competition, and it's the only that really solves the problem without hacks or workarounds PLUS more features you don't even know you want until you use it. It hasn't been the easiest to mange and has resulted in incorrect information. With Assetbots everything you need to know about a certain device is right there and easy to see. Pros Everything so far! Assetbots is accessible to all, easy to use and straightforward. I love how you can easily check the total of assets available or checked out on the Home page. I love how you can customize the descriptions and labels to suit you. Another awesome feature is the directory, this makes checking in and out a much easier process knowing that all employees are registered. Cons Nothing so far. I honestly love Assetbots. The only issue I had was the formatting for dates as we live in New Zealand but this was easily amended in settings. Review Source JR Jacob R. June 5, 2024 5.0 My experience with Assetbots is quite exceptional. Pros Assetbots is extremely easy to use and is quite intuitive. The overall layout, as well, is very nice and aesthetic. Cons I wish that there was a guest checkout option for assets, where they list their name, but it wasn't kept in the system after checking back in an item. We ran into some minor limitations with permissions and it doesn't quite work for us yet, especially for the cost. But we will keep a close eye in the future and hopefully will fully migrate over. Pros The interface is very clean and lines up well with what we have been searching for. All of the core functions are there, including an API and integrations with Azure/Google. Cons No native mobile app. The web version has a lot of left / right table scrolling on a phone. The licensing model is very stingy when it comes to number of assets. Where most other systems give you thousands, you only get a few hundred here for the same cost. Project Manager Entertainment Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Assetbots checked all the boxes" April 19, 2023 5.0 Overall we really enjoyed the product and when compared to competitors we saw a simpler user interface, clear guidance on how to operate the app and the price was very competitive with the market. Pros We liked Assetbots because it provided our team with all the necessary features they were looking for in an inventory management system. Checking in and out of a machine is made easy whether it is manually or automatically. The most important feature was the dashboard. An overall view of inventory levels and stats was the cherry on top and it will help my team to make informed decisions on asset management. Cons There was one glitch we noticed with the camera scanning. It may have been just from the free trial, but when we exited out of the camera scan sometimes it would make the whole screen black and/or continue to activate the camera. The workaround we found was clicking the scanning icon again to get rid of the black screen. I tried so many other programs and could never get myself to like them. I am so happy I came across Assetbots. Cons I would like to see the feature of adding consumable items. I work in manufacturing and I feel like this could be a useful feature to track consumables. Pros The most intuitive software I’ve used for asset management. Does everything I need it to doquickly and easily. Employees were resistant to change but found it was very simple to use and helped them save time. It worked to have serial numbers of credit card POS systems linked to our clients for warranty purposes. We also use for internal equipment such as headsets, laptops and phones. I'm excited to see how it will evolve over time! Pros The affordability and customization are huge pluses! A lot of other tools I've used seem to make assumptions about how the user will use the tool, but Assetbots leaves it totally up to the user to implement it however they wish (although they also have templates available for common use-cases). Cons There are some features that are a bit rough around the edges when it comes to ease of use and polish. For example, when selecting a date you must enter the full date in MM/DD/YYYY format, where it would be better to use a "calendar select". I’ve already hooked 5 people into asset bots with less than 3 minutes of convincing. The ease of use of this product is the best I’ve ever seen. Pros Asset bots is the only thing you will every need you might have to pay if you have over 50 items but you get every feature regardless of how much is in your wallet. You don’t have to go out and buy any special equipment, you can just use your phone! The only thing you might need is some stickers! Cons I was very sad to see that you can only inventory 50 items before paying although you do get every feature you need without paying. Reason for choosing Assetbots Ease of use. Pros Very little learning to do in order to use the product - after looking around a bit, it was very easy to understand how to use. I also love the importing features and the ability to collaborate with other users assigned to the account. Cons I actually haven't found any yet! It is very fast and reliable on bothmobile and desktop. The best part by far is the service – most requests are responded to inminutes by the actual owner, and feature updates are delivered quickly. Pros The software is easy to use and looks nice, is powerful but not complicated. We use a mix ofphones and USB scanners to scan barcodes when checking in and checking out, and it supportsboth without any problems. Scanning has really saved us a lot of time and solved all ouraccuracy issues. Cons There are one or two features that would make our workflow a little better. The team atAssetbots is responsive and keeps us up to date on when they will be updated, so it’s not reallya big deal. January 8, 2023 5.0 We were up and running almost immediately. I had two questions while getting set up, both ofwhich were answered right away using the chat feature. I’ve never seen business software thatwas so quick and easy to implement before. Pros Being able to use our phones to scan asset tags is great, and we can also use our existing USBQR code scanners. The other thing I love is that if I make a change on my phone, the Assetbotstab on my desktop is updated right away without having to refresh the page. Also, the way bulkcheckout works in Assetbots is much easier than in other software we tried. Cons They do not offer an on-premise solution. While not a dealbreaker for us, it would have been anice option to have. Reason for choosing Assetbots Assetbots was much easier to use, faster to set up and less expensive. Pros The software is so much nicer than anything else we tried. Our whole implementation process was completed in a single video call, while it takes most of our software vendors weeks of meetings. We are much more organized now and we know exactly where everything is and who is responsible for it. We couldn't be happier. Cons Nothing, I only wish we had found it sooner!
