### "I've set up SFDC Nonprofit Starter Pack for many NPO's. SFDC never disappoints"

Fast, easy to scale, handles multi language, multi currency, free

Pros

It's free, it's easy to customize, and is quick to set up for nonprofits. Additional objects can be added and up to 10 users can be set up.

Cons

Most nonprofits do not have the technical capabilities to utilize SFDC to its fullest potential. That being said - SFDC does offer trailhead for free - and it is a great way for new Admins to learn.

Pros

Very easily integrated with other programs ability to share with colleagues

Cons

No features are least like as I feel Salesforce is the most complete CRM on the market

Excellent tool - lots of features that make it easier and more effective for NPO's to manage their data, including donor management, grant management, volunteers, campaigns, etc.

Pros

Non-profits get 10 free licenses of this highly-vetted software, and are able to buy more at a discount. Salesforce.org is constantly growing and adding new features, with the help of their very talented team.

Cons

It's part of Salesforce, which is both a pro and a con - however, you aren't going to get this kind of price, support, experience, without being backed by a huge corporation.

### "Powerful and Robust but Too Hard to Figure Out"

Our nonprofit received free access to what would have been a very costly tier of Salesforce, but it was ultimately too difficult for us to use.

Pros

Strong data visualization, capable of managing complex systems.

Cons

We were able to use some of the features on a basic level, such as using it as a CRM and database for volunteers, but ultimately gave it up because we didn't have the tech know-how to capitalize on its usefulness.

Pros

The product is very easy to use and helps the team stay organized with everything as things can become very disorganized, easily.

Cons

Some of the offerings are not useful, it's only useful to keep everything organized.

Cons

support is lacking when you do not pay for it in advance. I understand that it is difficult to reach support at times.

I'm so happy that our org switched from our old software to Salesforce. It has really made our donor management processes so much easier and less time consuming.

Pros

Coming from Raiser's Edge, this software is significantly easier to use, much better for GDPR compliance, and doesn't look like something out of the 1990s. It is much easier to manage our donor profiles, grants, preferences, etc. on Salesforce

Cons

The transition period from our old software to Salesforce was difficult and there's certainly a learning curve (not Salesforce's fault).

We recently transitioned to Salesforce, and while I haven't had much time to explore the software yet, I'm excited by its potential and feel sure it's capable of helping our organization reach the next level.

Pros

I love Salesforce's ability to act as an all-in-one CRM. Rather than using separate systems for donor management, volunteers, and grant administration, now everything is in one place.

Cons

Salesforce, as the name suggests, was a sales tool first. Some of the terms are not what we are used to and are sales-focused - the transition has been a little odd, but I'm sure we'll get used to it.

It's a great program that has unlimited capacity to manage our non profit organization!

Pros

The company provides ten free licenses to non profits. This saved our organization an incredible amount of money. The software is a great CRM that has helped us get organized. The training is great and has really helped us.

Cons

The licenses are quite expensive. For non profits this can be cost prohibitive. Because it's a large company it can be difficult to get through the proper channels to get changes we've needed.

### "Great Reporting Capabilities - SalesForce"

Still learning about the other available tools available on Salesforce. Our reports are well articulated and very easy to understand

Pros

Great reporting capabilities, as we were able to reach more farmers with SalesForce. Our IT manager was able to automate the workflow, and now its easy and less time consuming

Cons

While the reports were great, it was quite tricky for us to configure. It took us some time to configure but we eventually succeeded. Training new employees on Salesforce is time-consuming, as its one of our main systems

Pros

It's completely customizable to support your business practices. The platform is user friendly, and the backend is not too complicated especially the new lightning interface.

Cons

The classic interface is not easy on the eye for the average user although an admin is probably ok with it. The NPSP definitely still requires a dedicated person to manage, like most CRMs.

Pros

We use the software for our sales and proposal customer CRM. So it is used frequently and is easy to use.

Cons

At the beginning it was hard to know how to navigate, but that came with time.

It's great to have access to a free version of Salesforce software. Working at nonprofits and having this freedom is incredibly valuable.

Cons

The design and user interface is not straightforward and as easy to use as other software that I've used elsewhere. It's not as easy on the eyes.
