I have used Zen and found it easy to use. One of the biggest issues I have had is doing prior period quota and attainment adjustments. In Zen, this is easy to do and doesn't involve a lot of manual hours to update

\[sensitive content hidden\] I have personally worked with \[sensitive content hidden\] since 2019. He was an Xactly consultant that we have used since 2017. Our comp plans are complicated. We have quarterly accelerators & new logo bonuses that involve complex credit and commission rules. We have a hockey stick bonus for our outside sales team that has been tricky to maintain. I've looked at the logic and am totally blown away at his logical approach. Each year our comp plans have added a new winkle where he had to think "outside the box" to make it work. I would give me a call late at night or over the weekend and he always came up with an ingenious workaround that made updates easy to implement during the fiscal year. We were going to switch from Xactly to Zencentiv but our company was sold before we were able to switch over. I can see that a number of his Xactly workarounds are built into Zencentiv \[sensitive content hidden\] uses these same concepts in Zencentv that he developed for our Xactly comp plans. Zencentiv, as a result, is designed to a more robust compensation program that is more intuitive, easy to use and maintain than out commission programs in the market. Dashboards and analytic reports are built into his program. They don't require additional program knowledge. They are created and updated as your specific comp plan is being built in the program . One of the bonuses that you will have with Zencentiv is \[sensitive content hidden\]. He is always available and willing to help fix your problems at a moments notice. He provides each of his customers with the "RED CARPET" treatment.

Cons

There isn't anything that I didn't like. If there is an issue the program, \[sensitive content hidden\] finds a way to update it so that problem disappear. The program is flexible, intuitive & easy to use.

The major reason for us to switch to ZenCentiv was the bonus objectives calculations for the Professional Services Team, our bonus matrix is very complex and has a lot of different objectives based on the job title, and we looked for the system that can handle the variety of objectives and will be helpful for the managers to transition from the excel to a system. Overall, I am happy with the system and appreciate the team accommodating all our requests. I feel like it is custom made system just for us.

Pros

User friendly application; easy to understand the logic behind the calculations. Easy to set up the templates for routing the plans to the employees; huge plus for the auditors. I appreciate the Customer Support from the team and the flexibility to customize the plans set up in ZenCentiv for us to meet our objectives. The team releases the new features monthly and accommodates our suggestions for a product.

Cons

I do not have anything negative to say about the system, but we are looking forward to the updates on reporting and Dashboards for the managers.

Pros

It saves us a lot of time helping sales reps understand their compensation and commissions. We used to spend hours going through this stuff, now it feels a bit more transparent.

Cons

We requested a couple of features specific to our industry. Otherwise, we’re pretty happy with it.

Pros

Intuitive menu/component-based comp plan configuration, which requires little technical expertise and keeps complexity to a minimum.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind! ZenCentiv is evolving quickly and is always improving and adding new functionality.

This software helped us understand our sales compensation and how to automate a lot of what we were doing manually. Our sales is somewhat nuanced so we needed a tool instead of excel.

Pros

It helps our sales people keep track of deal flow and stay hyped to sell, sell, sell. It's simplified commissions a lot. We used to use spreadsheets and it just wasn't working with a growing sales team. The ease of use is unreal, we were ready to go in a couple of days. The plans / templates are nice.

Cons

No issues honestly. More integrations are always a plus.

Overall, I am enjoying the system. I want to say the implementation of ZenCentiv has also been seamless and quite frankly a very good experience so far. I feel that is thanks to our implementation manager, Alex Kulik and his team.

Pros

It is user friendly. I had used Spiff prior and it was no where near as user friendly as ZenCentiv.

Cons

I do not have any dislikes with ZenCentive at the moment.

Pros

During my evaluation of commission softwares, Zencentiv stood out for a few reasons: Quick implementation/onboarding - competitors would charge + take at least 3-6 months. To start our pilot we finished in about 1-2 months and the process was very easy. \[sensitive content hidden\] guided us through the implementation every step of the way. Bang for your buck - full functionality parity to all other softwares (Xactly, CaptivateIQ) at a much lower price point. Their data integration to HubSpot CRM is seamless, and is better than many larger companies. Easy to understand and setup. Sales process was easy and straightforward. Support is very responsive and dedicated.

Cons

Nothing negative to say about the product at all. It is a newer company so it is inherently more risky, but they are SOC certified and the company is growing quickly.

Better price + implementation speed with all the functionality of the other products

Pros

I like the commission estimator. It's helpful to get a feel for what'll happen if specific deals will close. Otherwise, understand the data and see where I'm at in terms of quota attainment. Our sales plans have a lot of quirks like bonus triggers, commission tiers, etc. So it's helpful to know where I'm at—the integration with Hubspot's helpful.

Cons

When we started, there wasn't a Hubspot integration. A month in, they got it connected. Without the CRM integration, you couldn't see the data in real-time. After they integrated our CRM with the sales commission tool, we felt like our software stack was connected.
