We have definitely the efficiency improvements after we onboarded SpotDraft. Before SpotDraft, we had a huge process issue around processing our purchase orders - everything from purchasing consumables like gloves, syringes etc. to equipment like OCT machines for the cathlab required multiple approvals and were time-consuming. We even had situations of purchase orders being misplaced in certain cases. With SpotDraft, the entire purchase order process has been completely streamlined. The order is created on the platform and then goes to the relevant folks for approval based on how the platform has been set up - higher value purchase orders require multiple levels of approvals etc. Additionally, all our purchase orders are stored on the platform itself - we can easily end up accessing it whenever thereby making sure it never gets misplaced. Pros The customer success team and support is the best I have ever experienced. The product itself works extremely well for our core use case - streamlining the approval and signature collection for our purchase orders. Cons So no current cons come to mind. However, when we first launched, it felt like we had to reach out to customer support to fix some small issues every now-and-then - but the team is super responsive and now things pretty much run on auto-pilot. December 13, 2021 5.0 I've really enjoyed work with the Spotdraft team. They have been very helpful and and informative throughout our on-boarding and our on-going check-ins, as our team continues to use their tool. I'd like to specifically call out \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\], our main Spotdraft rep, because she has been stellar! She's attentive, kind, a great listener, and so easy to work with. We've been very happy with the tool and working with their team. Pros Spotdraft offers a number of features that are incredibly valuable for our team. One of the standout features is the collaboration feature that allows other team members to comment and view the contracts. Since the functionality is very similar to Google Docs and Word, it made the transition for team much easier. I also really like the key pointers feature because it allows us to easily track important business terms that we use extensively to track and organize our contractual obligations. Cons There were a couple of tweaks that the Spotdraft needed, including fixing the placement of comments in the margins so that it aligned with the corresponding highlighted contract language. But the Spotdraft fixed this immediately so the functionality is easier to work with. September 15, 2021 5.0 The experience with SpotDraft has been exceptional. They have stayed on top of everything during our onboarding. They were very well organized and kept us on task. Their team was always professional. I would highly recommend using this product. Pros This software is clearly made by attorneys who have gone through the process of reviewing and negotiating contracts. They know their users well because they have been the users before. They have added many different unique features to help make every day tasks so much easier that none of the other similar tools have even thought of. The software's interface is also extremely easy to use. Cons The one thing that is a downside about the software is that the templates are input by the SpotDraft so every time we need to make any updates to the templates we need to submit the updates to them. We do not have the ability to make changes (even minor ones) on our own. I am on the platform daily, and my job is made so much easier by its functionality. Pros Echoing another review, SpotDraft's Customer Success and Product teams are incredible to work with. Any time I have an issue or a question, the Customer Success team responds and initiates a plan of attack. Product implements the fix in no time. Cons There are some quality of life aspects that are lacking. A few UI/UX bugs that are annoying to navigate, but I trust the SpotDraft team to address and fix all of these in due time. I felt that the SpotDraft product team put a lot of thought into the gritty details of the contracting workflow and a legal department's pain points and set out to address those. Cons Some of the administrative controls, such as user setup and role-based access creation, are relatively more complex to use, but I would not say I liked them the least, but rather that I would expect to see greater simplification of those aspects of the product going forward. Reason for choosing SpotDraft SpotDraft stood out over most of the alternative products because they seem to understand very clearly who their customer is and what pain points they are seeking to address. The feature set is more robust, and they have prioritized the right things. I also found their pricing structure to be more common sense. We would underbill and need to rebill because data was all over the place. Now with SpotDraft its all in one place so a lot of time is saved and errors eliminated. Pros We have extremely complicated PPAs which change as per the state in which we are doing business. The SpotDraft team was able to put that in a questionnaire which now lets us get the sales team to create it. Earlier the Legal and Sales teams together would take days and now its done in a matter of minutes. Cons Some states require an E-Stamp Paper which is not currently supported by SpotDraft. Team: Reachability and responsiveness, prompt turnarounds, brainstorming and finding creative solutions. Cons I don't dislike anything about SpotDraft as such - just that there can be a few features that can add enormous value to the tool (in my opinion) 1. Having a mobile application (like DocuSign) 2. Having a feature for raising legal requests for the types of agreements that have not yet been templatized (like in ServiceNow) 3. Having a feature for automatically select signatories based on the value of the contracts. This will especially be very helpful for public companies like Kaleyra for their legal and financial audits. SpotDraft has read our minds while setting up the platform for our use and hit the bull's eye. Cons Ability to link-up historical documents and some editing features (like deleting a counter-party info if added incorrectly) are a couple things which, if made available, will definitely improve customer experience. December 17, 2021 4.0 Pros We signed up with SpotDraft at a time where we needed to manage large volumes of contracts, while also keeping the process simple. SpotDraft has been helping us create a process and train our employees, so that anybody in the organisation can very quickly get a contract initiated. The beauty of SpotDraft lies in its simplicity and ease of use. It is very intuitive and clearly made by a team that has spent considerable amount of time understanding the needs of in-house counsel. It has also increased efficiency in my own team as we spend less time verifying templates and reviewing documents. Cons The only thing we wish SpotDraft could do along with all its other features is help us procure the stamp paper and append it to the contracts as that is the last step in preparing a document for execution. The search feature allows you to deep dive and pull out data with multiple filters applied. Cons While drafting, there is no option to proceed further without selecting certain flags even if they're not relevant to the contract and it would have to be removed manually while drafting. The HubSpot integration and the reminder emails are super useful. Plus the search means we don't have to dig through folders and emails to find contracts. Pros We run a lean sales team and having SpotDraft has made it possible to create a contract in seconds. Instead of manually copy pasting stuff from Hubspot, it automatically fills everything and creates a proper contract. The in-built DocuSign style signing is great too as we don't have to pay for it also. Cons Needed to reach out to the customer support for a few changes to the template, would love to be able to do that on my own.
