I would highly recommend this company to anybody looking for a comprehensive, well backed-up membership package. Pros After trying various options for membership sites, we finally came across Paid Memberships Pro and have not looked back. The software is easy to install and configure and the value adds are excellent. PMP also provide a truly excellent, responsive, and knowledgeable support service (a rarity in this day and age). Cons Nothing to really dislike. Perhaps there could be some extra pricing levels for potential users of the software to select. It has so many integrations and extensions as well as features. On of the few membership plugins that supports WordPress multisite Cons So many extensions!! Could some be integrated into core? You can end up with a huge WordPress plugin library. Granted that some of the add-ons are small but it can trigger ones OCD! I am very happy with Paid Memberships Pro because of how easy it makes managing students in my school and because of the support they have always shown me from the beginning. The different possibilities to charge memberships and different models to charge those memberships. It is easy to learn to use and configure its different applications and extensions. Cons I really don't have any complaints to point out. Sometimes a ticket may have been answered later than expected, but that is normal in any company. It even happens to me at my school when I am solving problems with my students. Nothing to object to. It was very simple to add this plugin to WooCommerce and thanks to the Snippet Library you can find everything you need to customize your site and your user's expierience. Cons This is not a really a con but PmPro does it's job good. And this means it could be slower then other like-it type plugin or it does running much more inside scripts then you need for your job. I can't say it's a con, depend on your need or if you work with a very large amount of data. Cons For starting projects or very little websites which hope to grow, the paid version is an investiment when the budget is tight. So, critical features like recurring payments are not easily accessible directly from PMPRO. I have no reason to look anywhere else. Pros Paid Memberships Pro is probably the best and most reliable Wordpress plugin I've ever used. There seems to be no limit to what you can do with this app. It fits in so well with Wordpress and runs seamlessly and fast. PMPRO is stable and reliable. The best part of the application is the support. The tech team and leadership team are accountable, patient, and helpful more than any other Wordpress development team I've ever used. Cons There's very little that I don't like about PMPRO. It would be interesting if they had more preset "widgets" out of the box, but if they did, the program probably wouldn't be as extensible as it is.
