Is a great product and i hope they keep on keeping the good work Pros The great amount of features one can get with just the Free version, the great amount of codes their site offers to developers and the great possibility for customization it offers. Cons For starting projects or very little websites which hope to grow, the paid version is an investiment when the budget is tight. So, critical features like recurring payments are not easily accessible directly from PMPRO. There are many times when those of us who are dedicated to online teaching cannot know everything and digital obstacles sometimes add up and complicate our task of teaching. I am very happy with Paid Memberships Pro because of how easy it makes managing students in my school and because of the support they have always shown me from the beginning. Thank you very much for making the digital journey easier. Rober Pros I like it a lot, more than other plugins that manage payments and clients, in my case, students. It has everything integrated. The different possibilities to charge memberships and different models to charge those memberships. It is easy to learn to use and configure its different applications and extensions. Cons I really don't have any complaints to point out. Sometimes a ticket may have been answered later than expected, but that is normal in any company. It even happens to me at my school when I am solving problems with my students. Nothing to object to. It has so many integrations and extensions as well as features. On of the few membership plugins that supports WordPress multisite Cons So many extensions!! Could some be integrated into core? You can end up with a huge WordPress plugin library. Granted that some of the add-ons are small but it can trigger ones OCD! I would highly recommend this company to anybody looking for a comprehensive, well backed-up membership package. Pros After trying various options for membership sites, we finally came across Paid Memberships Pro and have not looked back. The software is easy to install and configure and the value adds are excellent. PMP also provide a truly excellent, responsive, and knowledgeable support service (a rarity in this day and age). Some come to it fresh, while others migrate from another toolset. Almost none have expressed any interest in moving off of it, which demonstrates their satisfaction with the tool. Pros Membership management can be a chore, but our clients find that Paid Memberships Pro makes it significantly easier. After some initial setup, they can be off and running with little maintenance or ongoing work. The secret sauce of Paid Memberships Pro, though, is its extensibility: with a little help, you can get the toolset to support any membership or subscription scenario, and can add features that are custom to your situation. That flexibility is what leads us to recommend Paid Memberships Pro to our clients on a regular basis. Cons The Paid Memberships Pro toolset grew from a fairly small base with a tight set of needs to now being much more robust and ready for any enterprise. Some of the very high-end features that a large enterprise might want are not available in the core tool. But a rich ecosystem of add-ons mitigate that, along with the incredible flexibility that allows third-party developers to create anything they might need. I've found it to be easy to extend and customize because it uses predictable and well-documented WordPress hooks for nearly everything. The support team has always been responsive and helpful, one of the best WordPress plugin support teams I've interacted with. Cons I've had a lot of pain integrating LearnDash for our training library. The plugin we've relied on is provided by LearnDash and doesn't work great - I'd love for PMPro to write their own to avoid that pain. Review Source RW Robert W. I have no reason to look anywhere else. Pros Paid Memberships Pro is probably the best and most reliable Wordpress plugin I've ever used. There seems to be no limit to what you can do with this app. It fits in so well with Wordpress and runs seamlessly and fast. PMPRO is stable and reliable. The best part of the application is the support. The tech team and leadership team are accountable, patient, and helpful more than any other Wordpress development team I've ever used. Cons There's very little that I don't like about PMPRO. It would be interesting if they had more preset "widgets" out of the box, but if they did, the program probably wouldn't be as extensible as it is. Review Source KM Krista M. The only thing I haven't figured out is if I can add a photo to one of their auto-generated pages. Pros I took a course to learn how to set it up, but once to activate the plugin, it's mostly self explanatory if you just explore around the different links it provides. It's easy to get your pages set up- they will auto generate them with 1 click. And it's really easy to restrict content but just choosing who you want to see it under the advanced tab for each item on your page. Cons So far I haven't found anything I don't like, it's free to set up and then you don't need to pay unless you want extra features later. Review Source ET Emanuele T. It was very simple to add this plugin to WooCommerce and thanks to the Snippet Library you can find everything you need to customize your site and your user's expierience. Cons This is not a really a con but PmPro does it's job good. And this means it could be slower then other like-it type plugin or it does running much more inside scripts then you need for your job. There are tons of add-ons to further extend the plugin if you so need and even the free version comes with a lot of benefits. I'm yet to find a contender out there that offers maximum control, extensive customization, and very helpful documentation and support staff. Cons While integration into the sites we developed was easy, there was a compatibility issue with one payment add-on. If there was a way to vote for prioritization, I would have done so.
