Customer Service is always very helpful and friendly. All of the options work great with the exception of the issue noted above. Pros We use Proclaim a few times weekly. It has been a very good product. The integration with Logos is great and works great. The ability to use is very friendly. I love the ability to import backgrounds. The newest features are very good also. Cons We have issues with using a Bluetooth device for sound when using Proclaim on the videos. The graphics and simplicity are quite welcome. The live streaming leaves something to be desired yet- it is still in beta. Pros We love the cloud integration. During Covid our secretary and I can collaborate while she is home and I am in the office. I can also edit sermon slides last minute before church and nobody needs to implement the changes. This also allows me (Pastor) to lead the service more confidently because I have seen all the changes up to date. Cons The camera integration has been somewhat clunky for us. Often we have to unplug and replug our video camera a few times to make Proclaim pickup the camera. Review Source JH James H. Pros The ease of use and remote collaboration of Proclaim is very good. On the fly editing and additions are also very easy. Cons All the basic features are fairly easy to pick up, but going beyond that can be a bit of a steeper learning curve. But the MOST IMPORTANT THING is that this is cloud based. Senior pastor can edit from home, I can grab it at the coffee shop. Its all around a great program. But when they experience it they are blown away by how it enriches worship. Pros Brings themes of worship together in a dynamic way. Easy to integrate music and scripture. Sermons are much more powerful with appropriate backgrounds to enhance the message. Cons I would like it if I could set some parameters as default such as margins, fonts, orientation. February 2, 2019 4.0 Pros I'm a Logos Bible Software user, so I love that this easily integrates with their whole Faithlife infrastructure (sharing media back and forth in research and in planning). Cons I think it is new enough that kinks are still getting worked out as you dig more deeply into the platform, that it does not yet have wide enough approval/usage so teams who have been doing production for some time have a difficulty finding reasons to make the switch to Proclaim. December 23, 2020 5.0 We have been using Proclaim at our church for the past 2 1/2 years. It was a smooth transition from the church having no presentation software to using Proclaim. It makes creating visually appealing slides simple. Pros The integration of this software with others I use such as Logos Bible and Faithlife sermons/sites is a significant selling point. It is easy to set up so a person with little computer knowledge can easily run the program on any given day. Just a regular presentation software was too time consuming for me and a lot of saved files to pile up. All these things were kind of compressed in proclaim, even better. Pros We are a small church and has helped us in making visuals very easy and convenient to us. It has been great for the past 1 and a half year. Great investment! Cons I feel like list of song lyrics should be updated. Most of the presets were hymns. It has replaced PowerPoint and media shout and given us a platform to communicate. Everyone has a login and can access the program. Pros We recently purchased and started using proclaim at our church for our media software. Whereas before we were using two or three different programs and meshing them together Proclaim does it all. The best part for me is that the sermon recording is built in and you can access all the information through one app that everyone can use. You can communicate with other users through that app as well. Cons There is a bit of a steep learning curve. But once you get the hang of it it is awesome. I guess my biggest con is getting the other team members to use it so that I can upload the sermons to our website through Proclaim rather than a flash drive. Review Source JN Jason N. I have recommended it to several other churches. Pros The biggest pro for our church is that it is cloud based. Each working from different workstations on the same weekly service plan is helpful. I also love the proclaim remote which allows me to control my own slides while praching. Cons Graphics could continue to be developed. I wish there was more functionality in the fonts and design of slides (I am used to using photoshop). Reason for choosing Proclaim by Logos I am also a Logos user. So the linking of software was key. This system has automated most of the processes we were handling manually, which made our presentations much better. Pros We have been impressed with the ease of use and ability to train users among our student body. All of our presentations in school including weekly chapel, ball games, programs, and other venues are handled via Proclaim. Cons We have found no issues that have impacted our overall satisfaction. Volunteer Religious Institutions Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Easy to Run" December 22, 2020 4.0 We used another product before, so the transition was a bit challenging as some things are done differently. Overall, everyone has loved the change, though. Having it cloud based is the best! It allows everyone on the team, including those with Apple products, to work from home. Most of our team are volunteers. Pros I love how easy it is to show someone how to run the schedule for the service. Almost anyone can run it! I also like being able to have the remote app control it, which allows for changes to be made during the service. I also like how easy it is to customize the songs for each service (which verses, how many choruses, etc.) Cons There are a few little quirks, though. One is for sermons, points sometimes don't show on the next screen. We've found a workaround, though, but we have to remember to do it. We are able to do quite a bit with its platform. Ease of use his high and allows us to make changes quickly and without much hassle Pros The software is easy to roll out for a mildly experienced user. Faith life does a good job with instructional videos and resources to make the job that much quicker. Cons The software can sometimes have a small amount of lag when pulling from the cloud. This is a big plus for us! Pros The software is easy to learn and the interface is very user-friendly. I am especially liking that it can be used on multiple computers by the team and the changes are saved and synced. The integration of a preservice loop allows us to play our Family Life News and automatically go into a countdown to signal start of service-love this feature. It is easy to import graphics and use them within Proclaim. Overall, very satisfied with the software. Cons When the program opens, it doesn't always open the most recent service. We have to specifically open the current Sunday's service because it opens the previous week's service. Possibly we are doing something wrong in this respect.
