If you are looking for a presentation software for your ministry you should check our Faithlife Proclaim. Pros What I like most is the easy learning curve of the software and that is available in the cloud. Cons More features are needed when adding text to slides or lyrics for worship. Pros Excellent to navigate thru any programmes with minimum ease of Operation and elegant use and availability of media. Cons Few features like integrating lyrics with online video was difficult earlier, but latest version has solved those with updates. For our small church, it's really Top notch. Pros quality of the products that is it but microsoft presentations from 2003 will do just as good job. and cheaper too Cons Once it loads and works it will take you minutes to finish the church service. BUT i have spent about 24 hours so 12 hours each saturday just trying to get the program to load on two computers. it is a very clumsy program that you have to pay for. Good money. I say dont waste your money unless you have top of the line computer technology within the last 2 years or you will be sunk. run from this program dont waste your money and time. We were having problems with Power Point, so I started looking around, and since I already have Logos, it seemed that Proclaim was the logical choice, and I have not regretted it yet! Pros The ability to do work from different computers and with the help of other staff on their computers. Cons No cons, that I know of. Everything works as it should. I would recommend it to any church looking for presentation software. It is the best that there is available. Pros Proclaim is easy to use. It is easy for multiple team members to use the same presentation. It lives on the cloud, and it has a beautiful UI. Cons The challenging part with it is that it is difficult to organize assets. I often have a hard time tagging graphics that I load for a particular use. And the thumbnails are blank, which makes it hard to find my graphic when I search for it later. As a volunteer Worship Arts leader, using this software has reduced my time commitment considerably each week. Cons Getting the hang of creating or customizing the Smart Media was a little challenging, but worth the learning curve certainly. Adding music to a song is super easy Pros We love having the option to work from home if all the presentation did not get done in the office for the week. Our sound and tech volunteer person can preview and modify from his home and add to our Sunday morning service easily. Works the same on a Mac or PC!! They also have tons of backgrounds and graphics to use. Cons I found that adding photos was not easy. The transition to the newest version was kind of rough and we had some issues. Pros Proclaim is fairly easy to learn and use. I like it is mostly cloud-based. Cons Some features are hard to find. I wish they had a totally online version that could be used with a Chromebook or Linux. Proclaim did the job and more and was very easy to setup and ran flawlessly throughout the weekend - highly recommend this cloud-based platform for flexibility across devices and desktop OSs. Pros Easy to get started and fast learning curve. Cloud-based data storage - syncs across all devices - IOS, Android, Mac OS, Windows. Subscription-based pricing - very affordable and high-value feature set for the price. Cons Song management UI to make it easier to manage a master list of songs independent of a particular presentation project. Audio recording project history and post-service publishing and review after going off-air and shutting down Proclaim would be a great enhancement. Review Source
