You can trust the indicators, use them in scope of your threat hunting or use case development processes and much more. Great product with high quality. Pros Google (formerly Mandiant) Threat Intelligence is the best solution for a cybersecurity professional. It provides accurate and reliable intelligence. Validation is provided in the background. You can easily create your threat profile within the scope of your sector and activities, and easily see which actors you may be targeted by and what precautions you need to take. It provides data with a very low false positive rate. Content related to any vulnerability is quickly loaded and this content can be easily integrated with the systems you use. You can hunt easily and effectively with the data it contains. Cons It costs a bit high but return of investment is good. Updates are easy also. The TAP let's you know what threats it detects going across the network, as long as it's setup to tap on a port that has ingress and egress access to the network. However, it was unable to distinguish threats that had been blocked by other gateway or security appliances. Cons My biggest concern is it did not provide enough contextual information. It gave a very worrying picture of the environment that took a week to unpack because we needed to further trace the information. As it turned out all of the security incidents were blocked by other security appliances.
