We are happy with Appcirle. We are used to the other competitors but Appcircle is more optimized for mobile projects while the competitors are general ci/cd products.

Pros

Easy setup, Free tier for the POC status, Documentation, and Fast updates for development tools like XCode.

User Interface and dark mode, Advanced Settings

Pros

Workflow is intuitive and easy to design. Registering and specifying certificates for apps is also easy. There is an enterprise app store. This is ideal for in-house app distribution with IdP integration.

Cons

Documentation is lacking compared to the competition. For example, I could not find details about the operating environment for inline scripts. It seems that the workflow can work with many third parties, but more explanation would have been nice.

DevOps dynamics of mobile projects are different than Backend DevOps. Mac OS management, mobile certificate management, testing distribution, store publishing, etc. If your mobile projects are important and you have frequent releases, I recommend Appcircle.

Pros

A platform developed for Mobile DevOps and supporting all the features needed for Mobile DevOps.

Cons

Not a suitable platform for Java/.NET DevOps.

The availability of a self-hosted solution for regulated companies was the reason we preferred it. Since we started using the platform, we fell in love with the product. We are planning to try the private cloud solution soon.

Pros

The technical support for self-hosted is great. We have seamlessly integrated our Flutter applications into our pipeline processes without any difficulty. The experience with Signing Identities Management is very easy. Having an Enterprise App Store for our QA team has made us more agile

Cons

It has no cons, we really enjoy using it. The dashboard experience could be improved in the next versions

Pros

Appcircle is really easy to use CI/CD tool. We have managing 50+ apps in an automatic pipeline thanks to Appcircle.

Cons

A lot of investment should be made for their dashboard UI. I encountered minor UI-related issues in all features.

This was the third ci/cd tool I used. I can easily say that AppCircle has the easiest integration process. Build logger can be improved.

Pros

Easy implementation and configuration, sufficient support, reasonable price.

Cons

With the latest improvements, the problem has disappeared, but before, we rarely experienced not responding logger.

Pros

We researched most of CI/CD tools for mobile development and we finally decided to use Appcirle and we are very pleased. Build, testing distribution, and publish to App Store processes are available in Appcircle

Cons

They do not provide official support for Xamarin projects.

Working with Appcircle has been a great experience. The support team, the ease of use, integrations, pre-defined workflow steps, easy setup and extensive documentation makes this product special.

Pros

I am amazed with the support. I can get answers to my questions on Slack almost immediately. The documentation is good enough to start with. The product has all the features you would expect from a CI/CD tool. The setup is very easy and straighforward.

Cons

It is hard to find a real thing that I like the least, but I believe for Flutter apps, managing the Android and iOS apps could have been more combined. Currently they seem like two separate projects, and indeed they are separate projects and managing these projects are still ok, but when you have more than one Flutter project it would have been better to see the projects more grouped.

Reasons for choosing Appcircle

The pricing options were easy to estimate the cost, and the support team looked promising.
