Minus the few glitches in the messaging system I love the app. Pros The ability to communicate with my clients in real time and the large library they have to food choices with correct nutrition facts. This makes the transition to logging much easier on clients. Cons Messaging system is very sensitive. My clients or myself get locked out often and you must go through several hoops to get back in and once you do information is lost. Otherwise I do recommended to other coaches. Pros I use the nutrition report and nutrient daily summary the most. Very user-friendly. The customer service has been top-notch! Cons The new change with the location of biometrics, TDE, BMR. I’m sure I will get used to it, but it doesn’t seem as user-friendly to have it below where the calories are I would prefer to see where the client is at and then scroll down to set the calorie needs it just feels out of order and clunky. I appreciate the changes that were made to the macro settings, but I still will sometimes for a quick reference jump over to the other app because it’s like a dial… Even on the free version if I know I want my client at 1650 cal and 30% protein. You get great information about the nutrients in your food but there's no shameful messages about eating too much sugar, etc. I also love that the databases are accurate and complete. My patients love Cronometer and keep using it even when they are finished seeing me. Cons I didn't love the recent update because it was difficult to get used to some of the changes, but I mostly learned how to navigate the changes. Trust me, I wouldn't be using this app if I found it difficult to track my food with. Pros I like the ease of use particularly in adding custom recipes in. I also like that I can check my clients nutrition easily. Cons The conversion rate of USD to AUD. It makes it expensive. The only other issue I have is when I try to take a photo of a nutrition label on a cylindrical container - it doesn't work well.
