In the same way with the P&ID plans. Now with CADWorx, I just have to make the design in 3D and everything else is generated easily. Pros This software saves you a lot of time, if you compare it with using only Autocad. When used as a complement, it allows you to draw the pipes in a very intuitive and fast way, so you only have to worry about the coordinates of the points where the pipes will pass. The isometric plans are generated automatically after a small configuration, so they will be immediately available for use in the field. Cons Although the cost of this software is cheaper than other alternatives such as Autocad Plant 3D, its value is still high and its purchase is only justified for companies that are going to take advantage of it. This software is designed to work as a complement to Autocad, so you must have Autocad to use it, although there is the option of using it with BrixCAD, the best option is to use it with Autocad. Pros Scalability, support, integration. Any company that wants to be competitive in this market you have to look at getting repeat business, low integration cost, and low support cost. Cadworx offers that. Cons Having to export you isogen configuration this should be an automated task when you hit save.
