PlagiarismCheck.org has provided updates in just the two years our district has been using it, which reassures me that they are keeping up with the technology. This makes my job as an English teacher immeasurable easier. I like it so much that I asked my principal if I could conduct a professional development to get all of our middle and high school ELA and Social Studies teaching on board with using it. This is a timesaving and invaluable tool in my classroom. Pros I most like the similarity reports and the Integrito extension. I had previously used the document history in Google Docs, but Integrito goes much deeper. I love how Integrito shows paste events. Details like that make it easier to have a conversation with students about what they have and have not done. I like the ease of installation and that it automatically runs the checks. Customer service is amazing, as well. I once asked a question on a Saturday, not expecting an answer before Monday. I got a response within three hours, which made my weekend grading much, much easier. Cons I struggle a bit with the AI report. It definitely needs to be used in conjunction with other tools. Pros I like that it is easy to use and integrates with Google Classroom. I also like that it has both AI and similarity checkers and links in with the places where similarity exists. Cons I wish I could use it for more. Right now, it is more helpful to have Revision History to see the actual online live typing the students do.
