Extremely useful for managing employee payroll with single touch payroll reporting, and integrates seamlessly with Beam for super stream/payday super contributions and reporting. An affordable option, good value for money. Haven't come across any bugs or issues yet. Cons If you only need to use it for employee payroll/STP/payday super, there are many features which go to waste and clutter up the dashboard. If they can improve their payroll reporting it would be really amazing! Pros Reckon payroll is great value for money! I tried a number of payroll software and Reckon Payroll is the best value for a larger payroll (as they do not charge per employee) and there have been some significant efficiency improvements in the year I've been using the software including employee self-onboarding and the payroll processing process. Cons More limited reporting requiring running several reports and collating the information from different reports in order to get a report with all the required information. I started using it because other available systems did not allow you to go back and amend transactions as easily as Reckon did. Its a small thing but something which allows you to clean up without leaving a thousand adjusting transactions. Pros Its easy to use, has all the functionality and more than you would need, the support is quick and really helpful (maybe one or two rings) and compared to other software its good value for money. Cons The interface is now getting a bit old and probably not "best in class". Looks more like what professional payroll use. That said you get to know it quickly and the jobs can be done fast.
