Efficient software for estimating. Take a little time up front and you can build out assemblies, what your proposals look like, and every estimate from then on only takes a couple minutes. I even uploaded blueprint into the software and had linear feet, door count, window count, and wall square footage put together and an estimate sent off to the customer within 10-15 minutes. Must have for a contractor. Pros Ability to upload blueprints for estimate. Cons Takes a little bit to get used to up front as you’re creating your items and assemblies. In a matter of minutes you will be ready to build out your templates and send estimates. Cons I would like to see a features for Project management daily reports. Not complicated. Just simple records for PMs and or staff to records daily operations . We have increased our conversion rates thanks to the professional presentation of the final estimates. Now we can get estimates done four times faster, the take-off tools are awesome. The entire software is built to make contractors more efficient, competitive, and professional. Its definitely a most try, i strongly recommend it. Pros I like that the software is easy to use. It takes some time to generate assemblies however, once generated they make bidding simple and fast. Cons The only downside is not having a pdf search tool. That would help with finding text that pertains to your particular scope of work. Pros I have been using ConGenius for over a year now as a General Contractor. This software has saved me so much time and money! I am able to win more jobs at higher prices because my bids look so clean, concise, and professional. My time to complete bids is typically under an hour and sometimes less than 15 minutes, saving me so much office time. Highly recommend it! Cons A little bit of a learning curve but that is going to be the case with any estimating software.
