A very gentle learning curve especially for those moving from the on-premise version of the system. Nice work by the Oracle team

Pros

The user friendly interface especialy on the interface module that links/integrates with vasatile vendor products

Cons

The product is relatively new and is not completelt free of bugs. From time to time users have to contend with downtime as maintenace rollout bug fixes

Overall, my experience with OPERA Cloud PMS was positive—it’s a solid, modern upgrade from traditional on‑premise systems, and once the team adapts, it provides an efficient, centralized platform for managing hotel operations despite a few performance and usability quirks.

Pros

What I appreciated most about OPERA Cloud PMS was its accessibility and modern interface; being cloud‑based made it easy to use from anywhere, and real‑time updates across departments helped streamline daily operations and reduce communication gaps.

Cons

What I liked least was the occasional slow performance in the browser, along with limited customization and a learning curve that required extra staff training, especially when workflows didn’t feel immediately intuitive.

On the Team members' side, it is very useful as long as it is correctly configured. On the configuration side, it can be tricky to understand, but when you get it, it is easy enough.

Pros

It has everything needed for Hotel Management, and it can be integrated with most any hotel-related software, like reservations, POS, marketing, sales, guest communication, rooms housekeeping, engineering, ticketing systems, finance, payroll, etc

Cons

The cost is excessively high. Installation, support, integrations, everything. And the timing is not always great. If you need something not included it can be impossible to add or customize.

This is indeed a user-friendly product that offers value for money. I recommend it for individuals looking for overall management of systems and multiple areas within those systems.

Pros

I like the fact that you can access it from anywhere; the flexibility it offers is perfect for people on the go. I also like that you can integrate other systems into it, such as event and restaurant management systems. To date, the security has not been an issue. and customer service is above average.

Cons

It can be very slow at times, the access could use more one-click tabs instead of having to make two to three clicks to get to where you want to go.

It is a good system. It is very user friendly so it's easy to train new hires. And like I mentioned in the pros it has everything you need to keep your hotel running strong. As long as you can deal with the quirks here and there.

Pros

It is very easy to access and less tech hassles. You don't need a bunch of computers and servers in a the back room. That really saves money on tech equipment and call to the IT guy. It is a complete system that helps with all parts of running a hotel from checking people in and out and managing room inventory

Cons

It was really difficult to get it to work with Shopify. Normally between my GM and myself we are good at getting software up and going but we had to call in professionals to help us with this. And it is a little more pricey than other hotel management software. And I cannot stress this enough, You have to have a strong and reliable Internet service or you will deal with a very slow system that will crash a lot. And if that happens the customer service is horrible. Be prepared to be on hold for a long time. Everytime

It's an amazing software as it helps with room and event management. You can have one account for both accomodations and event.

Pros

I like how it helps streamline reservations as well as options to put in information for other departments for event management. It also notifies you on upcoming events so as to enable you know what to work on. Also you can manage all your customers in one software which is cost effective as you don't need different software. It also helps with knowing what credit each customer has. It is secured as anyone without access won't be able to see these information.

Cons

Software can be incredibly slow. And also it accepts duplicates and doesn't prompt you of this so there's usually repetitive.

Pros

A 5 year old can use it. This system just assumes you are an idiot and overly explains every little thing, this in turn make the screen full of useless information.

Cons

No shortcuts and you have to process 5000 clicks more than in V5. Everything is overly explained and has in Opera V5 you could have all the relevant information required to do a check-in in one screen, in here you have to click in 5 different windows until you gather all the data. The mandatory 2 step autentication is horrible and you end up having the most awkward 2 minutes of your life when you are trying to use your computer in front of a guest, but now besides placing your password, you have to wait 2 minutes for a code to login.

Since I’m using Opera Cloud Property Management, my quality travels are improved making me to have good experiences.

Pros

The most I like about Opera Cloud Property Management is that easily to learn using the platform, is easy to make changes and correct the issues, offers and integrated payment allowing me to speed up the payment.

Cons

The least I like about Opera Cloud Property Management is that I need to depend the connection of the Internet which once Internet loss incident happens. Another thing that I don’t like about this platform is the system slowly, some reports are long to run.

The diary functionality is perfect for managing properties. It is also very handy to be able to manage multiple properties without having to switch between them.

Pros

The Opera cloud looks good but beware ---- Opera V5 version does work

Cons

Opera Cloud has created more work , and hiring more staff , feels like the hotel has taken a 2 steps backwards in time - the hotel switched over from V5 to cloud -terrribleOpera cloud support -is very limited -majority of the time opera staff don't even know how to fix the many issues we have - basic one is being able to send folios via email , can't adjust off postings, can't late charge guests, etc
