"eOrganiser - great for technical conferences "

Overall: Engineers Australia has used eOrganiser for multiple conferences in recent years and we find it simple and easy to use. Despite its simplicity to use, it is a powerful program that helps us manage multiple abstract and paper submissions and review processes and communicate with our authors. When issues do arise the team are generally quick to respond and resolve the matter. The program to web feature and integration with EventsAIR to check presenter registrations are usual features that we use regularly and save us a lot of time in manual labour. eOrganiser can handle hundreds of submissions and is an invaluable tool for large scale conferences.

Pros: Registration integration with EventsAIR. You can download all reviewer comments/scores easily. Setup is very simple straightforward. Only one login required for authors for whole abstract, paper and presentation submission.

Cons: We have had issues with eOrganiser in the past not working which has impacted our timelines. Occasionally slow response from team when issues arise. The program builder can be glitchy at times.

Reasons for Choosing eOrganiser: We still use EventsAIR for paper management. Depends on conference program size if we use eOrganiser or not. We don't use Cvent at all for abstract/paper management.

"A versatile product with great flexibility"

Pros: We are a PCO and are mostly using eOrganiser for abstract and/or symposia submission for our medical congresses on a daily basis. The best feature is the easy to use form builder which allows you to adapt submission forms to your individual needs. In addition, eOrganiser has been integrated with our registration system and allows for delegates to only use one login for both systems, registration and abstract submission - which we consider very convenient.

Cons: Based on our individual experience most features work well. However, we would be keen on having a feature to pin down submitters as first authors/presenters. In addition, sometimes, reports get stuck or cannot be downloaded at all.
