Virto Workflow Automation extends SharePoint Designer on SharePoint Server (on-premises) with a library of several no-code workflow actions, so business processes can be built without custom development. The kit installs additional activities that plug directly into SharePoint Designer and work alongside the standard SharePoint workflow actions. The action library spans common automation needs: sending rich email notifications, SMS and fax messages; managing SharePoint sites, lists and document libraries; copying, moving and converting files and folders; setting list, item and site permissions, including stopping and restoring permission inheritance; working with Active Directory groups and users; handling managed metadata, dictionaries and arrays; running SQL and HTTP requests; and date, time and text operations.
