Pros
Remains the besteasy installation and setup, attractive interface and great effectiveness in the search for viruses and malware.
After trying competing products like kaspersky, avast or avg, it remains the best performing and easy to use antivirus.
The most important and the best thing in Bitdefender antivirus plus is the Real-Time Data Protection and easy way to use the graphical user interface. And you have Multi-layered ransomware protection.
I always recommend this to my peers who need a reliable antivirus solution.
Cons
This could confuse you because you can never be sure what files to access and which ones to avoid after several such alerts.
Detects fake domains, bank accounts and even malicious text messages to safeguard your personal information from being stolen by hackers and scammers.
BD does spam you quite a lot with their advertisements if you have not bought every addon. This can be somewhat frustrating but not a game stopper.
There is no option to switch it off for a while, you have to uninstall and re-install, which feels clumsy and awkward.

Overall: Bitdefender Antivirus Plus is a robust malware detection tool which absolutely has a minimum impact on your system's performance, allowing you to maintain system speed and responsiveness.
Pros: It's a powerful antivirus which keeps your system fully protected 24/7, without having to worry about anything.
Cons: For the multiple users package, once you install it on one device, you're compelled to install it on the other devices at the same time, otherwise your license period begins to count from the moment you do your first installation.

Overall: I won't be buying this product. Overall I feel I will use my free product and it hasnt shared my information with others that I was unawares
Pros: It does everything it says and more however, free software performed same tasks.
Cons: It shared with other sites I wasn't aware of. You can get equally safe software free.

Overall: Bitdefender provides holistic protection against different threats, even when browsing. It is quick to notify you about potential threats minimizing the chances of downloading or installing malicious programs. It does not have a significant impact on the device's performance. However, sometimes you may not be certain what files could be infected because it might send a false alert for a safe file from a legitimate source. Overall, we have never had a major system security challenge for the time we used Bitdefender.
Pros: Bitdefender provides real-time system monitoring to detect and disarm any malicious programs. The web filtering feature allows us to safely browse without worrying about accessing malicious sites. It does not slow the computer, even those with low storage space. Lastly, configuring and controlling security is easy because it has an intuitive central control platform.
Cons: It shares very little information about previous threats, which is important in making decisions to improve security so the reporting feature might need attention. Sometimes it alerts you that a certain file from a reliable source could be potentially harmful. This could confuse you because you can never be sure what files to access and which ones to avoid after several such alerts.
"Uses different approaches to guard devices from threats"
Overall: The performance and effectiveness of Bitdefender meet our expectations. The software is relatively easy to set up and change security settings compared to competitors. It can perform quick and deep scans without affecting device performance. However, the pricing might need review to accommodate small companies. We have also noticed a few cases where Bitdefender blocked legitimate files, which might be frustrating but much better than approving infected files as legitimate.
Pros: Bitdefender scans files quickly and efficiently without slowing down the computer. You can continue working or browsing without noticing significant lag. It has a well-designed layout that gives you easy access to settings and necessary features. You can perform quick scans and deep scans whenever you feel is necessary. I also like its secure browser and VPN that protects sensitive information.
Cons: I have had instances when Bitdefender blocked legitimate files from reliable sources as infected. This requires you to adjust the settings causing delays or frustration. The VPN is simple and limited in terms of data and ip addresses you can use. I'd also appreciate if they would review their pricing downwards
