" July 12, 2023 5.0 Pros The workspace software is very user-friendly and allows me to find local coworking venues while travelling between meetings in town. I used to use Google, meetup, LinkedIn and Facebook to find venues but this has been a game-changer! The cowork & brunch is now a fixed date in my calendar every month and is a great way to meet other coworkers locally, the othership team have built a network of supportive and inspiring freelancers. After running my own coworking events before covid I know how challenging this can be! Cons The website is feature packed but I will need to spend some time to work out which parts are relevant for me... looking forward to the new workplace scheduler so I can see who will be at coworking spaces before I arrive. I also really like that there is a slcak group for members so you can not only network and grow your business using the software, but also build your contacts and learn fro others in a similar situation to yourself. The team is always friendly and I can't fault them. Pros Othership is extremely easy to use, flexible and affordable for anyone who is looking to have a bit of change from WFH or an office. Lovely team and plenty of options for members, it's a life saver! Cons Now that they indicate the pet-friendly spaces and have expanded enough to cover pretty much all of the UK, there is nothing to complain about. Cons The only feature I would add is an indicator of wifi quality and background music to help decide the suitability for work. Tech BA Media Production Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Satisfying product overall" October 20, 2022 4.0 I go to some places regularly.Some other places still need rating and there can be surprises (for example coffee offer is restricted to only a filter - it happened that I had to raise this to the prod ops team to have it displayed on the page of this space).I tend to avoid places without rating as I am not sure about the quality and don't want to move for a bad experience. Pros Very flexible and despite the variance in quality between spaces, there are many offered and it is likely that we'll have one nearby.Nice that there are different levels of memberships. However - I think the most expensive/complete one doesn't necessarily include free accesses to the most serious office spaces and that's deceiving. As convenient as it is to be able to work from home in my jimjams, to know I can book a space elsewhere with just a quick search on the site is invaluable. Whether I want somewhere to work in between meetings, on my way to an evening out, or just for a change of environment, there's always something that suits me. Pros There's a great selection of co-working spaces to choose from and the descriptions are really clear and helpful. You immediately get the vibe of the space and whether it would be a good fit for the kind of work you need to do. Cons No cons at all so far. I'm a big fan of Othership! Pros I really enjoy changing the place I work from every week. They say it’s great for creativity! Also, if you don’t need to work from an office every single day, it’s a good way to only pay for what you use. I also like the clever partnerships with hotels and restaurants, where you can actually sit and work without worrying you might be asked to leave. The places chosen are quite nice too! Cons Maybe with time they will start adding more places hopefully. But the best aspect of being an Othership member is the fantastic community support. Everyone is very helpful and supportive, the Othership team go out of their way to help every member and the sessions and events they run are extremely valuable. Cons I have had it a few times where Othership has said somewhere has availability but after booking I have had an email from Othership saying there are actually no desk spaces left and I need to choose somewhere else.
