Vome is wonderful in almost every way, it has been a tremendous switch!

Pros

Vome makes it EASY for volunteers. New volunteers are able to easily onboard through a sequence that we are able to create. We are able to open up new opportunities easily and quickly!

Cons

Vome has slightly slower load times when switching pages.

### "Great Volunteer Management Software!"

Overall, it was a good experience. The team was extremely responsive with getting myself and my team set-up and trained. They also responded very quickly when I emailed in questions.

Pros

I really liked that the volunteers could adjust their shifts (add/change/cancel) on their own time. I liked that I could pull a few different reports, depending on what information I needed. I also LOVE the price point of this software. I can downgrade my subscription when I don't need it, but then can upgrade when I get busy again - that's such a great feature!

Cons

Some of our students signed up while they were in a different time zone, which didn't switch to the current time zone, so it was showing shift times that started at 11:00 pm! I also started using vome pretty close to the event. I should spend more time learning the software to see if I can use it more to my advantage.

Vome offers excellent customer service! They are available on short notice and provided us with numerous training sessions until all our users were successfully onboarded.

Pros

After comparing Vome with several other volunteer program subscriptions, which we selected based on extensive reviews, we found Vome to be the best choice in every aspect. It is user friendly, and offers affordable pricing which works best for the small non-profit organizations.

Cons

I don't have any negative feedback regarding the subscription. It's been a positive experience so far!

### "Highly Responsive and Tailored to Our Needs!"

This is a fantastic program! The support from both the tech team and our dedicated consultant, who we can book one-on-one sessions with, has been absolutely outstanding. I’ve never felt alone during the transition process—everyone I've spoken to has been incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable. If something hasn’t worked for us, they’ve made the necessary changes to ensure the system fits our organization perfectly. We’re so thankful for their support!

Pros

We love how user-friendly and modern the system is. The mobile app feature is especially useful, allowing us to access our database on the go with ease!

Cons

So far, we haven’t encountered anything we don’t like! Like any new system, there are initial growing pains, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes incredibly helpful!

Customer service went above and beyond to help me fulfil my needs. They were easily reachable and always willing to meet to any and answer all of my questions. Vome has the tools and usability of a large platform with the service and personability of a small business.

Pros

I appreciate the Vome team's effort to constantly improve and fulfil customer needs

Cons

The color scheme can be overwhelming to stare at for so long if you are like me and prefer darker color schemes.

My overall experience with VOME has been mostly positive. The team like I mentioned above is wonderful.

Pros

Our organization as been using VOME for a year. Some things that we love is the customer service support as well as the team as a whole being extremely helpful and fantastic with our needs. We have also enjoyed the updated look and ease of use for the majority of the features.

Cons

Due to this being a newer product, there are still some features that are getting worked out and updated throughout the year. Our organization in particular is having a difficult time with the accuracy of volunteers schedules and logging their hours as they are not all coming to one location and are spread out in many locations and platforms.

The real-time updates and reminders have improved communication, ensuring smooth operations and a better volunteer experience. Vome has truly streamlined our processes, allowing us to focus more on our mission of supporting families with critically ill children.

Cons

We sometimes have difficulty making changes to existing schedules in Vome, but this is most likely due to a lack of training amongst our staff.

### "A flawed but overall solid product with excellent customer service"

Overall, despite some issues I have with it, I feel it's a pretty good product. It needs some work but I like that the VOME team is always active to answer my questions more often than not within a few hours.

Pros

The ease of doing reports is faaaar better than our previous website. I have zero issues creating volunteer reports for our team and overall it's scheduling system is solid.

Cons

The way opportunities are constructed to me does not create a lot of room for customization. For instance we have tours that our Docent volunteers host but each tour is different and from the user side of things our Docents need to know what each tour is (the school, the amount of people, grade level, etc). The way it is currently contructed I can't add these notes to an opportunity to make it distinct from another so what happens is I have to make a brand new opportunity for every single tour which makes it tedious. A change here would go a loooooong way to make it a perfect program for myself and my volunteers. I will also say the app is buggy and needs work and I have more or less told my volunteers to use their desktop to sign-up now.

Thanks for the feedback Wes! We've since added a whole new layer of customization on the shift level. You no longer need to create as many opportunities as before because each shift (i.e. docent tour) can have a lot of custom info.

Overall Vome makes my job easier! I can quickly see who is scheduled when or look up past hours for a volunteer.

Pros

I like that I can search for particular volunteers and track their shifts. I love that we can get a quick total of all volunteers and their hours. Customer service is the best! I usually hear right back if not by the next day. And Vome is always trying to improve. No one every says " sorry that's just how it is!" Feedback is welcomed and improvements are always being rolled out.

Cons

I think for older volunteers Vome could be simplified. There are still a few too many clicks to get to things and the initial profile setup seems to frustrate a small portion of my senior volunteers. It tends to 99% of the time be user error and impatience for technology for my few seniors who still complain about it.

Reason for choosing Vome Volunteer

I choose Vome because the price was right and it also offered an app that I thought in this day in age would be useful, especially for our high school volunteers.

Pros

I find this database easy to use. I get the monthly total hours of volunteering easily (which is my main reason for needing a volunteer database) and I find it easy to speak to someone if I have questions or need information. \[sensitive content hidden\] at Vome is easy to schedule a meeting with. They are also constantly improving.

Cons

I would like to be able to remove volunteers who are no longer volunteering.

Other products were looked at but had too many options and we wanted something simpler and streamlined.
