Pros

My team is a small boutique catering and events company, so Perfect Venue is literally built for us! I can streamline and even automate repetitive tasks like BEOs, which makes my life exponentially easier!

Cons

I find Perfect Venue to have NO flaws! It's honestly designed for teams like mine and I couldn't be more pleased with the implementation and roll out!

I no longer need an assistant because it is so easy and quick to use. It is similar to an app vs complicated, dated software like others. I can get an email from a client about an event detail and immediately go to Perfect Venue on my phone and edit, all within a minute, even from the road. Proposals are a breeze as well!!!

Pros

Perfect Venue is the most user-friendly event software hands down! The customer service is the best in the business, and any question that you have, is answered by their team within minutes vs days like the others. The immediate customer service is ongoing, not just within the couple of weeks after purchase like other programs. Rather than going through days and days of training like with the others, their team personally trains you in an hour which is all that is needed for this dream software. I can't recommend Perfect Venue enough. It has made event planning life so much easier that it is now actually very enjoyable!

Cons

There is nothing that I have found that I don't like. My only suggestion is that the beo's have the original date created at the bottom vs updating with each copy printed. I would also suggest that there is a way to create multiple proposals and save them under the client's account. My clients like to see a couple of different package options. This may be available, but I have not looked into it.

I deeply appreciate the user friendly software paired with a gorgeous aesthetic on the interface. I am consistently impressed as I become more confident in in the platform.

Cons

I have yet to find a con for Perfect Venue! I am eager to support them in finding ways of improvement and know this will happen the longer I utilize the platform. However I have yet to discover anything that I haven't liked.

I love it. It really does make my work life easier. I’m sure I can mention more, but you just have to get it for yourself. The Customer Service is always quick with a response if you have a question. I know it can be scary learning new systems, but PV Staff will really work with you and make sure all of your questions are answered.

Pros

Perfect Venue is awesome! I have used it at two different pickleball facilities now and it makes scheduling private parties/events extremely easy. We didn’t have a very good system in place before switching over to PV and it’s helped tremendously. We were able to convert old bookings over to the PV System. They make payments easy whether they are onsite or offsite. We had an event schedule before we got PV and took the payment, but were easily able to show that the payment had been made with their “offline payments” tab so that we can still have all of the transactions in the correct area. I also love the fact that you can “tag” other coworkers when something pertains to them (ex. F&B Manager when event needs F&B).

Cons

Other than the whole website crashing the other day for an hour or two, nothing. It’s never crashed like that before in the time that I’ve been using it though. It’s been amazing and really helps me complete my daily jobs.

I would choose Perfect Venue over any Catering Software due to its easy set up and modifying capabilities in settings and in the proposal function. Calendar and Reporting Tabs are great as well. For the current yearly pricing this software is hands down the best option out there! Happy to refer anyone to make the switch to Perfect Venue!

Pros

It's extremely to set up and modify on your own. Very user friendly for my entire team. I like how easily you can start a proposal from the calendar function and add a new customer and account. Keeping up with payment is a breeze and the reports dashboard is easy to read and get accounting in a flash!

Cons

My one con is that lost events stay greyed on the calendar keeping it cluttered. I wish they would delete from the calendar but all the information stays in the software.

Smooth experience, sales process was easy and well managed, onboarding was even more impressive and then the system speaks for itself. Our data was in hundreds of spots and now all in one place, we nearly cried sending the first proposal out, its truly amazing.

Pros

Pricing, support and fast onboarding, their team did a fantastic job getting the system up for us. The guest experience is really nice. We love the live proposal updates and internal info is also really well organized.

Cons

A few missing features otherwise its great. Submitted to have this and 7Rooms sync for pulling the reservations off our books, would love a integrated floorplan option.

### "The Apple of event planning software - game changing"

Excellent, I rave about it, moving to perfect venue has been one of the best decisions I've made for our events program, staff and guests.

Pros

How beautiful it is and how user friendly. Moving to PV has been like moving to apple - game changing! I used to use the main market leader in events and found it clunky, illogical and just so unattractive, I hated sending anything to clients. Perfect Venue is so straight forward, if I can't find something I think "if I were going to create that where would I put it", and sure enough, they will have created it and put it in that logical place. The software is attractive and the client forward element is very classy and well organized. Someone brilliant built this software. The support team are also very helpful and got us up and running, and helped build everything out. I also feel like they are still developing, and improving on feedback, which is amazing.

Cons

I really wish I could have a master account and all of our properties under one master. Right now we have an account for each property, and while I can flick between them, I would really prefer to be able to see inbounds in one place, see a shared calendar and move a client from one property to another. Its competitively priced but not cheap, so I have another property I would like on there but we aren't events forward and the pricing doesn't make sense. I you should be able to buy a hospitality version which is, lets say $1000 a month, and get up to 5 properties/venues under one account.

We looked at several I just can't remember the names. Mainly the cleanliness and bold, visual layout and the client facing side. I also found the team really helpful, they felt like people who had actually planned events using other softwares, not some bro using sales language.

Pros

Great value for your money, easy to use, great customer service. Love the ability to use an ap on my phone to answer folks quickly or look things up without having to turn a laptop on.

Cons

Wish I knew about it sooner as our small business was using another app that was too much and too expensive for what we needed it for.

Great product, great service, highly recommended

Pros

Very intuitive design & excellent customer service. We've used many different platforms for events over the years and this one stands tall above the others.

Cons

We encountered a few kinks during our implementation and use, but their team responded and addressed issues very quickly. Everyone we encountered genuinely cared about our needs and worked hard to come up with creative solutions. Not an easy task as our business is a bit of a square peg in a world of round holes :)

I really enjoyed using Perfect Venue and I will certainly recommend PV at my next position.

Pros

I liked the ease of use, set up, and support. The BEOs, Invoices, Proposals were easy to develop. I really liked being able to have all of my menu options available so that creating a proposal was fast and easy. The calendar was also a great feature. Being able to view reports from anywhere and at any time was a great tool as well.

Cons

I really have no complaints. The customer support team was very knowledgeable. Again, I have no complaints.

From the accounting perspective - Perfect Venue is simple to see new events that have happened, payments that have been made and remaining amounts due. The reports page lets you create customized reports depending on your need.

Cons

The only con currently is that it doesn't integrate with Quickbooks.

It has changed my work/life balance in an amazing way. I'd been cobbling together a ton of different systems for over 13 years running my business. Been using PerfectVenue since July 2023 -- I'm more efficient with sales and managing events. I love it. I can do everything I need to do from my phone.

Pros

Perfect Venue eliminates about 75% of the non-automated steps that I previously went through when booking an event.

Cons

There are moments when it's a little glitchy, and have had a couple of times when necessary features glitched/stopped working -- very importantly, the support team has acted responsively and fast every time. Crises averted!

Reason for choosing Perfect Venue

I've been trying to find it for years. Just stumbled across an ad when searching for "event venue management software". None of the other products offered what I needed at all, so I did not consider them.

Pros

Perfect Venue has allowed our business to rapidly increase the amount of events we book across our 3 locations. We replaced our old, admittedly unorganized method, with a clean organized, and structured application using Perfect Venue.

Cons

We chose to have payments processed via a third party, If I had to choose something I didn't like it would be the fee we have to pay the third party.

Our bookkeeper introduced us to Perfect Venue when our business was first changing from a brick and mortar restaurant to solely catering. This catering software has been incredible for us - keeping everything in a centralised location - and able to pull up notes, documents, etc. from past events for reference.

Pros

There are regular updates to the platform, striving to make lives easier for the users.. When we give feedback, it goes directly to a person, rather than a bot, and we receive responses from a person! We feel that client feedback is listened to and taken into consideration for future updates.

Cons

We have made several errors regarding fees - usually attributed to new menu items that are saved incorrectly by user error. It's certainly cost us some money, but we're aware of this issue and are more vigilant.

It doesn't get any better than Perfect Venue. Hands down, their support for the overall cost of the service, is downright incredible.

Pros

Perfect Venue offers a really nice contrast to so many bigger out-of-the-box venue platforms. We love the flexibility and the accessible price but what I really appreciate most is how they continue to innovate at a respectable pace, how accessible their support is, and how hard the effort to make the product seamless across so many job functions and critical needs.

Cons

Being a newer platform in the field all of the features on our wish list are not always already available.

Pros

I like how easy to use it is. I love how everything's kind of built out so you can just kind of give it to people and even without any training you can have them be salespeople for you.

Cons

I think the biggest disadvantage is if you decide to change the policy for someone or change the deposit form or something like that, it goes to everybody and there's no way to customize it per person.
