Not the best, but its well known and they updated it many times. One of the oldest out there. Not quite as good as some of the others. Security is definitely a concern. But nice the way it shows the news and links with other yahoo products. I used his Yahoo account to help him monitor emails, certain business activities and some document management. I had already begun using a Gmail account. For a time I used his email everyday. There would be things I would try to use forgetting this was not Gmail. Overall I just did not like it as much, not as many features, and not as efficient. Pros I did like the interface. it looks good, and composing emails is easy. I liked integrating the search functionality with it's use. Cons I did not like that there is no read receipt. It's not a bad email server. It is much better than AOL, or any of those. However I don't like it as much as Gmail. The overall user experience is not as good, and it can be a bit clunky at times. November 9, 2021 4.0 I've had good experiences with Yahoo Mail. I use it more as a secondary email for business inquiries, but still holds purpose for me. It's good to see that Yahoo Mail is still going strong. Pros I've used Yahoo for about 20 years now, and it has been a good experience overall. The major updates over the years has been beneficial, and its good to see that Yahoo hasn't been drowned out by the other competitors around it. One feature I've always enjoyed is the verification process. There were some email services I've used that I was locked out of, and I was never able to get back into it. With Yahoo, I've never had that problem over the 20 years I've used it. Cons I know the Overlay has gotten better over the years, but it still seems a bit dry at times. I'm thankful of the new features that came over time, but it's still not the best overlay I've seen. Also, not a fan of ads being put into my email services now. The email filter that sorting the incoming email into its categories like social email or promotion email help to organized my main inbox and make it less messy. Cons There are no additional feature or tools that are introduce by Yahoo Mail for the last 3 years, making it less relevant and attractive to a newer user. During this time I have tried some other applications too. I never found a better one to switch from Yahoo mail. It gives me safety, the best organization and it's easy to find everything in there. Pros I feel good with the organization of mails and the way it filters the new ones. Every suspicious mail is in junk just making me know to be careful from hackers. I use Yahoo mail from forever and I have never had a problem with hackers. I feel safe. I use to link yahoo mail with every other platform I use and it's perfect. It's extremely user friendly compared to its competitors and makes business email simple. Overall we have had a great experience with it and prefer it over others. Pros Yahoo makes emailing for work easy and effective. I am able to quickly set up new email addresses for new employees. Cons Sometime a year or so ago Yahoo made it to where we couldn't forward inboxes anymore. This is very frustrating when employees quit and customers were still emailing those employees for answers and quotes but customer support was quick to respond to this for us. We now just set a permanent vacation message on the employee's email. Reason for choosing Yahoo Mail User friendly. Easy to integrate among new hires. The storage for email attachment i is very large, and i can attach media and content on it easily. Cons There are too much advertisement on the email platform and it is very distracting. The mobile version of the software is not that good, and keep crashing every time i tried to sent email from it. The web browser version is the best way to using this software. I have remained a customer but I cannot say that maybe its competitors are not offering more user friendly and more useful alternatives. I like the fact that you can be logged with multiple accounts and you can easily switch between them. I also like that they are keeping up with the times and always try to update and evolve. Cons I don't understand why, but when you receive an e-mail that is part of a conversation, it groups all the emails and you start loosing track which was the last oneand how to find older ones.
