It's an easy to use, good value for money solution, that is robust and can be applied in many different retail business.

Pros

We chose the Magestore POS because it is the best value for money POS for our complex business needs. It enables our Omnichannel customer experience. There hasn't been a challenge they haven't been able to solve. It's easy to use. Works with our chosen payment processor. And their customer service and support rivals the best. The Magestore team truly are an outsourced partner you can trust.

Cons

We completed a fairly extensive comparison and interview process during our feasibility study, and we chose Magestore because there weren't many things we didn't like.

We recently had Magestore handle a POS software update running alongside our Magento upgrade. Communication throughout the project was excellent - the team kept us informed at every stage and were quick to respond whenever we had questions or needed support. The integration between our POS and ecommerce site was handled professionally, and it's made an improvement to how our physical and online operations work together. We would definitely recommend Magestore to other retailers looking for a reliable POS partner.

Pros

Magestore were responsive throughout the project and handled the POS and Magento integration smoothly. Their knowledgeable team understood and answered our questions.

Cons

The time difference occasionally slowed down back-and-forth communication, but this was the only issue.

It has been a very fast-paced and flexible project, with quick communication and flexibility from Magestore's end to respond to our frequently changing wishes.

Pros

Magestore responds quickly and professionally and gives off sharp hourly indications. Our contact points \[sensitive content hidden\] gave elaborate answers to our questions and were quick to help and facilitate custom work. The program works as advertised and is easily customizable.

Cons

The difference in timezones made following up on support difficult at times, and (very) occasionally the language barrier made communication difficult.

The Magestore team are really friendly and it's been a pleasure to work with them. It's nice to work with a team who actually get back to you with fixes. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Pros

The Magestore WebPOS is great value for money and full featured. My client used it on a tablet at a wine tasting event and reported back that they loved it and found it incredibly slick to use. I love the fact that it's a virtual pos and you can run multiple POS in different locations.

Cons

There nothing I don't like about Magestore. In terms of future functionality I would love to have functionality where you could tap to pay directly on a tablet without the need for a payment device or a separate tap to pay device, and then you would have a true mobile POS. It looks like you would need to have a professional grade tablet in the first place to be able to do this as iPads don't support NFC.

Excellent, as their support team works closely with you from beginning to end, providing online assistance, visual learning sessions to demonstrate how the system operates, and overall technical expertise. Their team also actively supports and assists in resolving technical challenges throughout the customization and development process.

Pros

Magestore software provides a complete solution for operating and managing an entire business across online sales, POS, and inventory management. It also includes powerful automation features that streamline workflows such as order processing, picking, packing, and checkout, helping businesses improve efficiency and operational control.

Cons

There are essentially no major limitations, as one of the key advantages of the system is its flexibility and ability to be customized around your specific business operations. This opens the door to a wide range of solutions that can be tailored to support and optimize overall workflows across the business. However, achieving this level of customization may require development time to properly configure and program the system according to your operational needs and objectives.

We have been working with Magestore for over a year now on our Magento site and have found their approach to be flexible and professional. It's always a big move moving to a POS system but I would highly recommend these guys if you need to implement a POS system which integrates into your Magento Store. Remember this is a long term business relationship, not just another extension you buy and forget.

Pros

Great understanding of Magento and communication is good even allowing for the time differance as they are not UK based (as we are). Programmers are quick to respond to requirements via their support team and technical support is second to none! The POS software itself is impressive and intuitive. They understand that not every customer needs the same thing and will customize to suit your particular requirements.

Cons

The cultural differance in terminology can be difficult and requirements should be made clear from the start of your enquiry, but their english is extremely good. You just need to precisely layout what you want and do not presume anything. If you don't ask, you won't get, interpretation is literal. Use images with notes and make your requirements clear. They use Slack which I am personally not a fan of and still struggle with but it does the job. Also make sure you have a full understanding of your own site and requirements/settings it needs before installation if you are not already managing stock through Magento. Their system is good, but you need to make sure you're ready, as they presume you are.

We've always had a positive experience. Any issues we've had are when upgrading Magento or the server environment and have always been quickly resolved.

Pros

We have used Magestore as the POS system for our store for the last five years. As the developer managing day to day running of the Magento site I am grateful for the helpful support of the Magestore team if needed when carrying out Magento upgrades, or if issues occur. I have always found them very responsive when needed (which is not often) and willing to carry out patches and customizations when required. Our store staff have always found the frontend easy to use in a busy store 7 days a week.

Cons

I am in a different time zone to the support team, which occasionally causes some short delay in response. But the team are always quick to acknowledge any query, and often respond outside of normal office hours.

One of the highlights of our experience has been the customer support, specifically from \[sensitive content hidden\] . She has been instrumental in helping us customize the POS to fit our unique requirements. Whether it's adjusting features or guiding us through technical aspects, \[sensitive content hidden\] has always been quick to respond, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Her ability to tailor the system to our needs has made a huge difference. What stands out the most is that the system isn’t just functional but also incredibly informative. We can easily access all the data we need to run the store effectively and make informed decisions, which is invaluable for tracking sales, inventory, and customer info. Overall, MagStore has been a fantastic addition to our business, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable, easy-to-use POS system with exceptional support.
