April 17, 2026 5.0 We have been working with Magestore for over a year now on our Magento site and have found their approach to be flexible and professional. It's always a big move moving to a POS system but I would highly recommend these guys if you need to implement a POS system which integrates into your Magento Store. Remember this is a long term business relationship, not just another extension you buy and forget. Pros Great understanding of Magento and communication is good even allowing for the time differance as they are not UK based (as we are). Programmers are quick to respond to requirements via their support team and technical support is second to none! The POS software itself is impressive and intuitive. They understand that not every customer needs the same thing and will customize to suit your particular requirements. Cons The cultural differance in terminology can be difficult and requirements should be made clear from the start of your enquiry, but their english is extremely good. You just need to precisely layout what you want and do not presume anything. If you don't ask, you won't get, interpretation is literal. Use images with notes and make your requirements clear. They use Slack which I am personally not a fan of and still struggle with but it does the job. Also make sure you have a full understanding of your own site and requirements/settings it needs before installation if you are not already managing stock through Magento. My business analyst Anne is awesome and she responds to messages and issues in timely manner and creates a ticket for their developers to work on our POS and customizations. Their service is limited to the POS so you will need to have a developer in your side to help you install solutions and fixes for bugs and help you with Magento issues. Pros What I like the most about Magestore is their communication and their ability to resolve bugs and issues regarding the POS and customization in a timely manner. I like that our orders, customer data and inventory is all in one place and our POS is connected to our E-Commerce. I like being able to have unlimited staff, users and locations and have the flexibility to create an unlimited amount of customized payment options for our business on POS. Overall Magestore is a great POS if you have a physical location and your already using Magento for your online website. Cons It’s hard to find something I like least as they have a great product and service that offers a lot of value. I guess it would be the search bar on the POS sometimes it’s hard to find a product as you need to know the exact name and exact sku or look it up by brand… but I wish it was a little more inuitive and helpful. Can't be used or tested" June 23, 2022 1.0 Wasted three weeks of time. Spoke to sasles agent \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\], she disappered with no alternate contact, and reappeared later saying she was sick. So we decided to test the POS solution using the free plugin and it didn't work. Just loops the login page. Total waste of time. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] then tried to make some money off our frustration by asking us to pay for support to fix their application which doesn't work as designed. Would not recommend wasting your time with this company. it's clear they cannot fully deliver. They can't even deliver the basics they say are already in production nor can they afford to maintain it so it stays in production. Just a total waste of time with dishonest people. Pros I couldn't tell you because the free trial plugin doesn't work . Cons Software installs but doesn't work. Stays in a loop in which no staff member added can sign in. Infact they are just asked to login over and over. This is the "free" plugin and when you ask for support they will try to get you to buy support. Makes no sense unless fraud. Any issues we've had are when upgrading Magento or the server environment and have always been quickly resolved. Pros We have used Magestore as the POS system for our store for the last five years. As the developer managing day to day running of the Magento site I am grateful for the helpful support of the Magestore team if needed when carrying out Magento upgrades, or if issues occur. I have always found them very responsive when needed (which is not often) and willing to carry out patches and customizations when required. Our store staff have always found the frontend easy to use in a busy store 7 days a week. Cons I am in a different time zone to the support team, which occasionally causes some short delay in response. But the team are always quick to acknowledge any query, and often respond outside of normal office hours. My client used it on a tablet at a wine tasting event and reported back that they loved it and found it incredibly slick to use. I love the fact that it's a virtual pos and you can run multiple POS in different locations. Cons There nothing I don't like about Magestore. In terms of future functionality I would love to have functionality where you could tap to pay directly on a tablet without the need for a payment device or a separate tap to pay device, and then you would have a true mobile POS. Pros We were looking for a POS solution for our business that is already integrated and ready to work with Magneto. We were doing a lot of research trying to find the best solution for us that will be quick and easy to use and to be honest there were not many options out there except for Magestore. The POS system that they offer is very user friendly and simple to use, works right out of the box and solved all the requirements we had. Furthermore after integration we had some additional requirements and problems to resolve and Magestore was there for us, working hand by hand and in a professional way. Cons We understand things require sometime to get integrated/developed, wished it would have been faster.
