But as the platform grows, we would need some extra features like zooming Cons As mentioned, with the platform growing the community edition isn't suffiecient anymore. But we ran into huge obstacle when we purchased and tried to replace the community with professional edition, because we would need to re-implement the current UI functionality. At begining we thought that the replacement process would be smooth, but the logic between professional and the community version that we are using currently differs so much. While the tool itself is of high quality, it is my experience with the JsPlumb support team that struck me the most: a short response time, technical expertise, a great human contact. It was perfect. Cons Nothing especially. We worked with version 5 of the toolkit and we implemented some features on top of JsPlumb. Those features came later, in version 6, directly offered by the toolkit. Bad luck for us, but no big deal. It makes it easy to create a custom modeling tool. Pros jsPlumb is very flexible. It is very easy to make custom elements and link them together. Cons There are some oddities with the path editor. It was originally used as the framework of our application and now its embedded in our new angular framework to visualise and interact with our data. Pros jsPlumb is the perfect tool for us to display connected data, specifically how it is represented in our knowledge graph backend. Our product is built around not only displaying that data, but interacting with it through many visualisations built with the jsPlumb toolkit. Cons Any issues we have had with jsPlumb have been of our own making, for example not keeping up to date with upgrades to the toolkit in our original application. Review Source JD John D. It gives us a very easy to use customer interface for complex drand and drop features in our web product. Pros The flexibility of the lib to support the project we used it it for and also quick help and support. Cons Although everything is documented it wasn't always self describing how to use functions and features. But the new search functionality of the documenation helped alot. Reason for choosing jsPlumb Jsplumb was flexible to support the project we was using it for and also had the features we needed and the reasonable price was also important.
