March 18, 2023 5.0 I needed a good platform to conduct pre-employment tests on candidates for various positions, and I came across Twolink by accident. We were initially going to go with Test Gorilla, but we needed to check out the landscape to ensure we were getting a good deal. Twolink has a free tier that is quite good. Has a load of tests, and provides results per candidate directly in my email as soon as a candidate is done. It allows me to customize the questions to a role and to add some customized questions as well. Overall, I really liked the experience. Pros I liked the large question bank, role-specific recommendations, and the ease of setting up and sending the assessments out. The experience is gamified, so it keeps you wanting to keep trying things out. Finally, it provides an almost intuitive experience for a beginner. Cons I would have loved to be able to drill down to the question level for each candidate. It would also have been nice to select some questions but not others per block so that one could balance out the overall length of the assessment. Pros Pretty much the whole feaures: Customizable Questions allows the program to better judge the actions needed to be done frequently by the user, and to do them better; Test/Quiz Creation allows to better assess test/quiz performance; Assessment Management allows to better assess our performance with the program; Progress Tracking aids us to judge our improvements and outcomes; Performance Metrics allows our assessment management/progress tracking being based on more precise mathematical data; Real Time Reporting has a good speed of its reporting on the work on the program. It has forced us to use other tool. Pros We were out for campus assessment, It was embarrassing situation for us, we tried last year, there were some glitches & we thought it could have improved but it was flop show. Cons We did dry run few hours before the actual test time, it was working fine but during the test. OMG! all and everywhere it was failing. 1. Their city database was missing; candidates were not able to select city and it was mandatory field!! 2. It stopped loggining in, for 30 minutes, 2 minutes to login. Shame! 3. Rate limiting error while doing the test. 4. We moved up to higher level of plan, that didn't help. 5. Images of questions were missing for 'Problem solving" module 6. Further, after so many hiccups, we were not able to see the results, it was just like disconnect from database. 7.
