Cons Support tickets are not always resolved as timely as needed, communication to customers needs to be improved (be ahead of customers - deliver effective and timely communication follow-up). It is very stable and very easy to use after some training. It works very well for concurrent documentation, and as a supervisor, it works very well for reviewing staff documentation and co-signing necessary documentation. I am very pleased with CareLogic and actually enjoy using it. Additionally, as a web-based, cloud EHR, it can be accessed from anywhere, which becomes incredibly useful. Cons The look can be intimidating and not really user-friendly or intuitive. It does take some time to learn where things are, and the steps involved with certain things (such as opening a new file) can be confusing. Also, it presently only works with Internet Explorer, which causes problems if you have Macs or prefer other internet applications. However, this is being fixed, and it should work with Google Chrome soon. Review Source SA Sheryl A. Cons It is not compatible with any web browsers other than an outdated version of Internet Explorer. It is common knowledge that Internet Explorer is the most vulnerable browser there is. Most people avoid it for this reason, but it is also inefficient in many ways. This program forces security and performance-conscience professionals to use Internet Explorer - and an out-dated version at that. The program also freezes and crashes too often; there are many unusual glitches (accidentally dragging a calendar icon will break the program, etc.) It is brought down on a regular basis due to errors and glitches, which is terribly inconvenient. Qualifacts needs a major overhaul. More browser support is absolutely a requirement for a modern program that professionals are expected to use (no Mac support? unacceptable.) Lots of things in community online if there was more time to explore Pros Customizability and report building features. New treatment plan looks like it will be an improvement Cons Staff who do not need to consistently use CareLogic need to be retrained as the software is not intuitive and it can be difficult to remember which report give what information, where to find documents, etc. It would be useful to have "less clicks" to find what you need. I love that Qualifacts keeps up with what is going on in our state and also nationally to have the software ready for the upcoming changes. Our state in the last 12 months had a BH ReDesign and then Medicaid Carve In and we couldn't have done it without our CareLogic program. Cons The communication and response time when we have a ticket in over issues we may be having with the system. If the tickets can be answered by the first responding team, they get answered quickly. It is not user friendly and often crashes. Do not waste money on this product. Research products such as Power Chart are way more useful and easier for employees to learn. There are many features such as the cs tool that would have helped us greatly if we knew about it a year ago. There isn't much documentation on the modules or options that can be turned on. When I have the chance I do most of the time speak positively in having a great electronic system. One thing I can say, there is no 100% system out there; but CareLogic is good to have. :) Pros Carelogic is user friendly. Some functionalities are useful. Gives me the ability to create workflows seamlessly. In comparison with our old ECR, CareLogic oversees my expectations. As I was promoted with my agency, I became familiar with CL from a new administrative prospective. Reports are a little difficult to access but overall, I am very satisfied with the product and would recommend it to others. June 5, 2018 4.0 Pros It's as configurable as promised, which allows for powerful flexibility. The onboarding process is thoughtful and well-organized. Cons Steep learning curve, but I imagine this would be true no matter what. Previous EHR experience provides some context, but it's still a bit Greek to me.
