It is an electronic system that allows remote access to work from any location which is a huge benefit and convenience

Antiquated platform and functionality; isn't streamlined to reduce administrative processes that are lengthy and timely to complete

We have a like/hate relationship.

Pros

Easy to find clinical items you are looking for if they are there and set up properly.

Cons

Many features have to be turned on or off by Qualifacts themselves. You have to put in a ticket to request that something be turned on. However, there is no list that can be provided to the customer of what can and cannot be turned on and off. So, you don't know what you can request. This is so ridiculous!!! Submitting a ticket can be frustrating. Many times the answer you get back can go over a layman's head, so you still don't know what to do to fix the problem.

Easy use of an EMR and billing rolled into one.

Pros

That it is easier to use then some and that it more configurable to each customer. I've used avatar and CareLogic is way easier. It is easy to use and easy to train new users. It is easy to create forms and learn new features.

Cons

Length of time getting tickets fixed. Often times tickets are in for weeks to months. I currently have a ticket in that has been at least 6 months since it was entered.

Pros

Layout is quite good. Menu driven customization is also quite efficient and effective. Customer responsiveness has improved over the last 3-4 years.

Cons

Accuracy of data is somewhat suspect due to lack of sufficient audit-trail. Financial (commonly referred to as "back office") capabilities are very sub-standard. Rather than being handled as a supplemental add-on, the financial aspects are critical for effective utilization. There has to be more recognition that the healthcare services being conducted and documented are not performed in a vacuum. Financial integration (front-to-back) needs great deal of improvement.

Pros

The scheduling features makes it easy for our clinicians to complete their documentation. I also like the business rules and the Failed Activities and Failed Claims. I am impressed with their new Treatment Plan and the customization that is available

Cons

A major con is having to pay to access our data via an ODBC connection. Having to pay for our own data at the rates proposed is a hard hit on finances for the smaller clinics.

My overall experience wit h Carelogic has been positive with employees from Carelogic and user friendly system.

Pros

1\. provides update information on consumers 2. ability to access records quicker 3. eliminated loss documents 4. better time management because ER allows providers to complete documentation quicker 5. efficient way to bill services because of the batch billing component

Cons

1\. More staff have the ability to access consumers' records 2. loss of productivity when system is down for repairs or system problems 3. hard ware must be updated regularly 4. ER is not forgiving with technical errors

Building our electronic health record to increase efficiency and track our data has been huge! It keeps us current and ensures that we are getting the most out of our work.

Pros

What I like most about the software is that it is customizable to meet our needs. The options are (almost) endless. And Qualifacts is always working on new ways to enhance their product and keep it relevant.

Cons

It took a while to get used to because it wasn't as intuitive as we had hoped. But once we learned how to maximize Carelogic by using it as it was designed, it became easier to use and really enhanced our practice.

Reason for choosing Qualifacts CareLogic

It was customizable.

CareLogic has been a way for us to keep client information all together, diminishing the chances of information loss. It is easy to navigate and quick to learn.

Pros

It's great having all the client information in one database. I like being able to check billing questions and make appointments without having to log into another system.

Cons

I would like to see more client search options. To be able to search by phone number or clinician see would be an added bonus.

Training in the Qualifacts Nashville office is GREAT and highly recommended. The software works if you set it up with the end game in mind.

Pros

It is comparable to other EHR systems of its size in most cases. We need the medical billing component and it can process claims.The support issue has gotten much better over the past year or two.

Cons

If you set it up incorrectly, you are in worlds of trouble. Implementation follow-thru was inconsistent and support was extremely delated for our first two years of use. It is hard to find the right person to talk to when you have a major software issue. The medical chart component needs more development.

\- reports are limited unless you have a Pentaho report writer on staff - help ticket submissions receive slow responses at times - system issues sometimes impact access to software but downtimes are typically limited

Pros

Reporting capability - the ability to design reports based on just about everything. Looking forward to Analytics and the capabilities that that product will give us. I was able to participate as a beta tester for Carelogic Mobile as well and that whole process is very encouraging. The response to testers needs, how organized the approach was and the weekly meetings was all handled very professionally and well.

Cons

The ability to quickly and easily see everything about a service/activity that was billed in one spot. Who it was billed to, with procedure codes, units, and amounts, and then how much they paid and who it was billed to next and follow it all the way thru until it was totally paid for or written off.

Data accessibility and ease of implementation/technological access.

Pros

It is easy to learn and has high dependability. We make good use of the reporting tools provided with the system. I appreciate the mobility of the system in that you only need internet access to run the application. We are also happy that the system is available on multiple browsers now.

Cons

Some of the billing workflows can be difficult or not optimized. We frequently find data issues that we have to have reported to support to be corrected. We have also experienced problems related to signature pads and the software drivers with cross browser.

### "Carelogic"

Carelogic is a fairly good software for the needs of the mental health side. I was disappointed in the promised changes that we have yet to see.

Pros

Carelogic is user friendly and does have some great qualities. The menus are clear and easy to maneuver thru. The clinical EMR side of this product is wonderful and all the clinicians love how easy it is for them to document.

Cons

The billing side of Carelogic can be tedious and you cannot change simple things for example a note that would print on a statement must have a ticket put into Carelogic for them to add it. The mapping is very time consuming.

Ability to run services through electronically and bill electronically. We've been on this system since 2012 and were almost completely manual then. This has smoothed a lot of our billing procedures.

Pros

Claim stops when something is entered incorrect. Alerts when something is needed. Ability to contact other team members through CL

Cons

Not being able to fix all errors myself. No manual claim engine. Diagnosis does not end when a patient discharges.

The ability to configure.

Pros

I like the configurability. There are so many differences between different users and it is great that it is not a one size fits all.

Cons

Soffront help desk is not user friendly. Depending on who answers a ticket it can be a success or it can be a not so good experience. A few require explanations of the very basics or act before they have fully reviewed what I am asking for which cause larger issues. I wish there was more flexibility in the configurable forms such as bold and underline, possibly using HTML to do this like we can with menu management.

I like most everything about CareLogic. I might have wished for a better analytical tool to pair with it, but the tool they offer (Pentaho) is still very good.

The glitches, going down. Unable to edit documents already built in the system. Configuration of dropdowns. The issues with not be able to change the word gender to sex in facesheet is not inclusive as well not having any other option besides the default binary.

Overall it is a great tool.

Pros

I like the ease of use, the software practically guides you in the direction you need to go when you are entering in clients and documents. You know where everything should be, and if you have never used a certain document or module you can easily guess where to look to find it.

Cons

It is a bit difficult to fix errors. If i have a clinician that needs to error out or fix something in an activity there are a few steps I need to take before I can go in make the changes needed, it is great that it locks stuff down, but at times it makes it difficult. for example if I need to fix a payer that has activity attached to it I need to go and find all the activities attached and reverse them before I can make certain changes.

Pros

It allows many configurable form development, an assortment of implementation planners and ease of navigation. We are able to restrict and restructure the pages for different areas and programs. Rarely any down time on the part of Care Logic.

Cons

Areas with duplicate information cannot be auto filled.

Excellent. Qualifacts staff is very supportive.

Pros

The software is very configurable. You can set up documentation to meet your agencies needs. The system can be set up so everything that is needed to send out a claim is attached and completed before the claim goes out.

Cons

Reporting is more difficult, however, they are changing the current reporting software to make it easier in the long run.

Support Services have greatly improved over the past few years. Support is knowledgeable and works to answer questions the first time. There is minimal back and forth. If the request isn't able to be resolved right away I am kept informed of the status.

State reporting can be improved. We've been over promised and under delivered.

I like that we can customize the program for our needs. It allows us to set up the system the way it makes the most sense for staff. It's easy to navigate and makes logical sense.

Cons

Because it is highly customizable, you really have to know what you are doing in order to set it up correctly. Any changes in services requires multiple steps to change.

We are solving the need to have real time data for the company by having everything electronic and accessible remotely. Improves the quality of care our clinicians give our families since they have to worry less about paperwork and can focus more on the client.

Pros

I really like the fact that our clinicians can now remotely and electronically do all of their work so they do not have the hassle of coming back and forth to the office to drop off paperwork.

Cons

I do not like the structure of the configurable forms for reporting, it is very difficult to manage having to change reports every time a new version of the document is created.

Reason for choosing Qualifacts CareLogic

The ability to customize the system is very big for us since we are very non-traditional. Avatar did not offer this. Also the growth of the company appears to be natural instead of buying out companies like Netsmart does.
