Pros
The abilities available within the LMS, reporting, analytics and other stuff is great when they work.
Overly it has been fairly good, I am happy with the service provided.
Over time the support has improved and our issues are getting fewer - or where we do have issues the support team are (now) fantastic and work quickly to resolve queries.
Great that we can track everybody and run reports. Love how user friendly it is [sensitive content hidden] is fantastic and has been a great help.
Cons
Can be very slow sometimes. Often errors when uploading documents.
Its much improved but previously there were some courses that had elements you needed to interact with that weren't too obvious and you could get stuck.
The building of the system really put us off, we did it back to front as the person who was supposed to be our consultant was booked in the wrong order, however now up and running it is easy to use.
I think looking back we could have set things up as part of the original set up that we did not know about at the time, which is a little disappointing.

"Access LMS User Experience "
Overall: Overall, I would rate it 8.5 out of 10 based on my three months of experience with your LMS.
Pros: This is highly user-friendly and effectively meets the end user's requirements.
Cons: You need to make some improvements to the Assessment section, including incorporating multiple-choice questions, essay-type questions, and drag-and-drop assessments.

Overall: While it funtions as a tool for individuals to access training, and the ability to tailer training, the frequency, set up expiring etc. is fully customisable and relatively easy to sort, it feels as tho some serious investment is needed into the overall trainee interaction experience. IT feels like this product wasn't consumer-tested...
Pros: The detailed ability to fully customise the issuing of training, the frequency, expriy, custom certificate management.
Cons: The UI and general ease of use. Generally speaking, the system is quite clunky and it can take various clicks to get and see what really matters. For individuals who do just training, the content isn't there at first glance - There are many features, boxes, and areas to enter that aren't necessary for the individual. There ought to be a different view between the trainee & Trainer/Administrator on the system.

Cons: the building of it the consultant wasn't great, not compared with other products such as people planner and care planning he was more of a show and tell not an assist type of person.

"Mixed journey - however we have persevered with Access LMS and it is getting better"
Overall: In honesty its been a difficult journey, we were migrated from our original system coming up to 3 years ago and ran into lots of problems, resulting in high volumes of support tickets with extremely slow response times, so much so that we ended up finding fixes ourselves that support could not find. We have had regular changes in account management - usually only communicated after the fact, however we are happy with our current account manager/support. Over time the support has improved and our issues are getting fewer - or where we do have issues the support team are (now) fantastic and work quickly to resolve queries. The new look on first impressions looks good and more user friendly for a learner (was previously a heavy 'admin' feel.
Pros: Range of content available. Ability to create own learning, events management, reporting features - its a one stop shop for everything we need in an LMS.
Cons: We have had quite a journey with issues however things seem to be getting better. We still have issues but the support team is much more responsive and we seem to get resolutions quicker too. The amount of admin time the system required where issues were high volume.

Overall: 10/10, no complaints at all. The tool is a huge improvement on the last LMS software I've used.
Pros: The ease of access (SSO) is refreshing and the tool is quick and intuitive to use for admin management. The support I receive is timely and efficient ([sensitive content hidden] is excellent). The tool has so much scope for changing the way we manage compliance and regulatory training, oversee review process and provide induction support. I've not even played around with a lot of the features we have access to - the scope of the tool is endless.
Cons: Nothing to grumble about. If I had to pick any negatives it would be a lack of quick access menus for Admin or ability to remember frequently accessed content. (Have to manually search for everything)

"Navigating Access LMS:Its Strengths and Weaknesses"
Overall: Overall, it is good the glitches in the system just leave it as frustrating in completing tasks and not being able to fully track these can feel like reliance on the accuracy of these is questionable reduces trust and confidence in the product.
Pros: The ability to sign people in for training there and then as attended electronic registration - being able to use the note function to add notes on each candidates that attended.
Cons: At times the registration doesn't pull through, therefore and it has left records showing as not completed and additional checks need to take place and then it leaves spending most time checking to see passed and attendance has gone through. Additionally there have been times I have done it and it's then later shown as not completed. Also in addition to this when individual candidates are accessing the system to complete elearning it is super slow to load and means people aren't able to access.

Overall: I have access to most of LMS features, now I know more about it and it has become better over time however, I do think there's additional features which could be added. Better reporting ie SEMPs broken down into service groups. Options for users to add their own outside certificates.
Pros: I like that it has alot of accessible course available outside of the mandatory and statutory courses.
Cons: it's not very user friendly - we always have issues with people having issues on how to complete the assessment following a course. The process to upload certificates and update the reporting aspect is very long winded.

Overall: Lot of bugs found within the first year, but we're hoping this second year will be better now we've ironed the bugs out.

Cons: The site often runs very slow, it doesn't allow full customisation of themes, and there is a lot of duplicated titles or content supplied by the LMS, making it very difficult to assign the correct content.

Overall: Great that we can track everybody and run reports. Love how user friendly it is [sensitive content hidden] is fantastic and has been a great help. he is an asset to the compony and he goes above and beyond to sort our queries and answer any question we may have. Once we gain the CISI API link that will be great as it will allow individuals to easily export and import activities from their CISI logs into Unicorn and vice versa.
Pros: I like how it is user friendly and its easy to get content out to people. Good how the LMS also captures SMCR, T & C etc and this is an area that we will be developing going forwards.
Cons: Did not really get to know fully at set up what we needed. i think more time spent with the customer would be better going forwards to gain an insight into the type of firm and what the LMS is to be used for. I think looking back we could have set things up as part of the original set up that we did not know about at the time, which is a little disappointing.

Pros: We use this LMS in conjunction with the CII which gives us the added benefit of accessing content to prepare for CII professional qualifications. Another key feature is the CPD record allowing us to easily track CPD hours and course completion rates. Access are continually updating the product with new features, such as registration rule templates, email templates and course rating display. They have also taken on board a number of our requests and implemented them into the system.
Cons: The back end can sometimes feel a bit clunky but we are currently moving into their workspace app which will offer a more modern feel and new features related to analytics and reporting data.

Cons: could be modernised, the learning videos are good, but comparing to other videos watched via linkedin of other providers i can see they are more modern. The look and feel of the LMS can be improved also, making it more modern
