With workfront, I don't have to remember every detail. It is all there and prompts me what to pay attention too. I heart Workfront! Pros I like how versatile the tool it. It can be used for so many things and it so many ways. You can customize it to your companies needs. Pros I like the most that I can create easily different kind of reports Cons at the moment, the way to compare actual versus planned hours in a nice chart for each month is not so nice. Manager, Digital Content & Engagement Accounting Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Really good for what my organization needs" October 5, 2017 4.0 Pros \- The amount of customization you can have over request forms - The compilation of tasks / documents / notes in one single place - The proofing and approval mechanism being built right into the software - no more email attachments or claims of missing emails (items are time stamped re: access) - Good mix of collaboration and project management Cons \- If you're in a task you need to navigate back to the main project to review custom form details (which are sort of buried) - Not as seamless email interaction as something like basecamp (where you can respond to a project directly in an email) - Pretty 'dry' looking interface - not the most user-friendly as I've found myself clicking to learn - While there is a LOT of customization it's not perfect. I also really like using their project templates for repeatable workflows. Once a project is set up, it is quite intuitive on how to iterate. Cons It is a little challenging using it for the first time. Without some training it's easy to hit some walls early on. Once you can get over a slight learning curve, it's pretty easy. It's simple and gives me everything I need to see in one place. Cons Would be nice to have a feature that shows me how I'm doing overall on project completion time across all of my projects. Also a time tracker would be helpful, so I can "log" in and out of each project to track my time. December 16, 2016 4.0 ProofHQ is a good tool for creating proofs for all kinds of deliverables, particularly those that don't PDF well, like videos or PPT files. Creating proofs is easy and sending out to multiple reviewers for comments and approval is super simple. Pros I like that for the first time I had one system I could use to send out all my proofs, instead of sending PDFs around and collecting comments via PDF comments, comments sent in emails, and not enabling co-reviewers to see each other's comments. Cons The proofing system kind of lowers the quality of videos when you upload it. No mobile app. Get asked to watch the product tour every time you view a proof. Also, allows us to gather our monthly status reports via the tool. Pros its a collaboration tool for project management with the possibility of resource capacity planning. Cons Current report functionalities do not provide adequate flexibility. With limited resources I'm the only admin and I'm not technical but it would be good to be able to do some basic API myself. Before ProofHQ, there were multiple versions of proofs saved on various servers and users hard drives... after ProofHQ, we are able to coordinate our routing and approvals in short timeframes and much greater participation. I like how all correspondence is in one place for each project. I don't have to dig through emails finding particular jobs, it's all right there under the WF job number! Cons There are almost too many ways to get alerted about your projects, sometimes I lose track of jobs, but I know there is the ability to modify my personal alert settings so I may be able to resolve this with some expermintation. We eliminated half a dozen disparate tools and apps when we deployed Workfront. Our entire business runs on Workfront and a cloud based accounting system - that's it! Custom forms are very easy to whip-up (no technical knowhow needed) allowing us to customise and streamline our internal processes and maintain reporting visibility and control. The Workfront support team is very responsive and provides active feedback and timeframes on issue resolution. Cons Looking forward to some of the roadmap features around external user collaboration.
