I don't like that we are being forced to switch to Lightning. My colleagues and I all liked the old platform just fine, and have found Lightning to be glitchy. Overall this forced upgrade has been very inconvenient for us.

Pros

It's hard for me to find something positive to say here, as my colleagues and I were all pretty happy with the old platform. I can say that we have used Salesforce for a long time and have found it reliable and easy to use.

Cons

The calendar is pretty awful now. We relied heavily on the old calendar and have had to shop around for third party plugins that will enable us to do what we need to do. We're still working on this.

I like Salesforce, but it's not my favorite option.

Pros

I like that there are way more reporting features than the competition and it's easy to view activity reports.

Cons

I find both Salesforce and Salesforce Lightning outdated and clunky compared to the competition, and I wish it was more user friendly.

Great product, can see why there's such a huge following of people that support the system.

Pros

Lot of features, very robust, and has many ways you can customize the platform to fit the needs of a specific business.

Cons

Sometimes its bit difficult to navigate around to where you need to go to resolve an issue. The free content that helps one better understand the platform requires a form fill to then be contacted by a sales person for a product you already own.

Cons

I don't like that a few of our data portals aren't able to sync with the salesforce platform. I'm sure down the road a lot more portals will be able to sync with the network.

Pros

This software has a ton of options and features available. It's pretty seamless to integrate this with the sales team. We cna automate out entire marketing plan. It's nice we are able to put in parameters from the marketing director and load it into his dashboard.

Cons

The first few weeks were really confusing! This has a steep learning curve and required a lot of training. It wasn't as simple as I thought it would have been. However, once I've had some training I've gotten used ot the interface. It's just not as simple as I thought it would be.

Pros

I love the ability to run reports based on different selections of data and have the reports pull accurate information. All too often, I have had CRM's in the past that would provide inaccurate data despite searching for correct fields. I also really like the ease of use to edit records on the fly. Very convenient

Cons

I don't always like that I have to click through so many tabs in order to get the information that I needed. I wish there were spots to create shortcuts, and maybe there is, but our company does not utilize them...

Pros

Salesforce is intuitive, easy to learn and use. As a person working in Marketing/Sales, Salesforce has all the info needed to better target and reach our customer base. The biggest plus is that because it's one of the leading CRM software in the market, it easily integrates with other Marketing/Sales software that we use.

Cons

I'd love to receive a certification on Salesforce by taking some courses. However, they are quite pricey and more geared towards corporate-level training. I wish there could be an accessible/affordable course offered by Salesforce.

Salesforce has grown over the years into a mega platform and so it has something for everyone, but you need to really understand your requirements to ensure it's the best fit for your organisation.

Cons

It can be overwhelming if you don't know what you need or want to build. The User experience has improved but I feel is still behind some competitor products.

Nearly unlimited uses for how we manage the information, pull / run reports, display dashboards, and maintain oversight of our multiple plans throughout the globe.

Pros

Very robust, capable of much more than we utilize it's capabilities. Along with Conga, it allows for the running of reports, plans, etc. Virtually limitless in how you want to manage things.

Cons

Somewhat clunky at first until you start using it, so it comes down to time in the tool to become more comfortable to expand how we engage the tool's capabilities.

Salesforce is a very streamlined platform. We use it to track sales leads as well as reporting. The reporting is very robust and it allows multiple users onto one account.

Cons

The reporting has a little bit of a learning curve but besides that the new interface is much better than the old one.

Salesforce as a platform is extremely easy to use. It holds all relevant data in an extremely organized manner, and the data is at your fingertips. I love it!

Cons

I have no cons with the product. Even when there are bugs, it's fixed quickly and efficiently. The only con comes from now having proper training from my company
