It provides a quick and easy way to get the information I need. I wish customer service was US based and provided better support. Pros I like that it provides a single pane of glass for the ManageEngine products. Reporting is good and provides the information I need for the most part. Cons Some times the integration doesn't work right and I have to sign in at multiple times into multiple different applications. Other than that, it works well. Report generator is a bit combersume. Customer service is not US based and often times prefer to communicate through email or directing to articles. If I'm paying for support, I expect resolutions to be prompt and with ManageEngines experties not have to do the searching for myself. I have noticed no performance issues and the web based interface is fast. Customer support is fantastic and quick response whenever I needed assistance. Pros Makes managing azure active directory much easier. It has a clean interface that is all web based and easy to use. It features great auditing tools that helps managing 365 environment. The service is modular so only need to pay for modules that are required in environment. Cons The service has a steep learning curve which can take a while to maximise its potential. The service is limited for cloud only environments. Some of the modules is not user friendly so there is not the same level of consistency between modules. This ensured proper security standards were followed when onboarding employees with the help of the predefined templates without having to perform them from scratch. Cons The only issue that created the problem of delay was the lack of live integration with some of the cloud applications. This was occasionally problematic when trying to determine whether change was complete and captured by related systems. The connection to compliance tools has made it easier for me to control and maintain some security compliance standards especially in access and authorization. Cons At times of heavy usage especially with sizeable numbers of users, the speed is somewhat stifled. This could lead to latencies in some areas such as the handling of batch user updates that is a challenge for large organizations. The matching workflows especially the role-based access control make it easy to manage user privileges to meet envisaged standards. Cons The issue with synchronization between AD and third-party applications still needs improvement. At times, it may even be a bit slow and not fully synchronized to ensure that the users can have access to other domains and platforms. The self-service password management facility enabled the users to perform the password resets hence decreasing the helpdesk tickets. Cons The issues were related to the bulk management of Active Directory objects. It was not designed to be that easy as it seemed. The password resets, profile updates and Group wise management of users without involving IT are made possible through the integrated self-service portal. Cons It is somewhat limited in the customization of reporting functionality. The limited flexibility in report generation that did not allow for the fine-tuning of filters during ad hoc analysis was a drawback for more complex reporting.
