### "An extraordinary cloud computing platform"

July 22, 2026

5.0

Summing up, I would like to note that my experience of working with this product was very positive, and it definitely helped solve many problems of our company in the last few months. I believe this platform is great, scalable, and super reliable because it has a global reputation and provides high security. Thus, it is perfect for large corporations and organisations, and it is my favourite cloud service provider.

Pros

I had the opportunity to work with Google Cloud as a Sales Executive at Hackett & Hackett International Group Limited. Overall, in my opinion, the product has several advantages over similar services provided by other companies. First of all, this platform is scalable, which makes it extremely attractive for organisations that need to increase the amount of computing power for a short period of time. In addition, this product is cost-effective since it uses a pay-as-you-go business model. Furthermore, the use of this platform eliminates the need to buy and maintain servers, thus saving money on their purchase and reducing the amount spent on hardware maintenance. Finally, it has a Global Infrastructure, which makes data access more reliable and faster for users in different parts of the world.

Cons

However, there are also some significant disadvantages inherent only to Google Cloud. First, it has a complicated pricing system. Second, to work with this product, one needs to have technical knowledge in various fields: Cloud architecture, networking, cybersecurity, and much more. In principle, I find that these drawbacks are not critical in the context of the entire functionality of the product because such a business platform is designed for specialists who, first of all, have extensive knowledge and skills in the above areas. Therefore, getting started with Google Cloud might be challenging for those who do not have sufficient technical capabilities. However, once the technology is mastered, the use of this platform implies a significant risk of increasing costs due to high traffic and the computational power of the servers.

### "Good product, harder when your org lives in both Google and Microsoft"

June 17, 2026

4.0

Running Google Cloud alongside OneDrive is a bit of a juggling act, but for our situation it makes sense. The school side benefits from the Google ecosystem and the rest of the organization lives in Microsoft. Google Cloud itself is reliable and the pricing for education is hard to beat, it's really just the dual-platform overhead that creates headaches. If your whole org is already in one ecosystem this is a much cleaner experience, but managing both is workable with the right processes in place.

Pros

On the education side of our organization, Google Workspace has been a natural fit. Students and staff are already familiar with Google Docs and Drive, so the adoption curve is basically nonexistent compared to standing up a Microsoft environment from scratch. Collaboration in real time on shared documents works smoothly and the storage management across users is easy to oversee from the admin console. For that use case it genuinely earns its place.

Cons

Where it starts to feel inconsistent is when you're trying to bridge the Google side with a Microsoft-heavy environment. Our main org runs on OneDrive and Microsoft 365, and keeping those two ecosystems from stepping on each other takes more active management than it should. File format compatibility between Google Docs and Word/Excel isn't always clean, and staff who float between both sides end up having to think about which version of a file lives where. It's a solvable problem but it adds friction that wouldn't exist if everything was on one platform.

### "Google cloud difficulties"

July 6, 2026

3.0

Not always sure when it is using my time wisely. I tend to avoid it. They keep charging, but they don’t keep giving help. I would like to stop using it however it doesn’t show me a way to do that.

Pros

I find it very difficult to use. Not clear and expensive. I do not find it user-friendly. I really know what I’m paying for. There are few ways to get help.

Cons

See above. I am not fond of Google cloud. It’s extremely difficult to use and not friendly. Also expensive.

### "First choice for AI and large data processing, as well as K8s workflows"

April 16, 2026

3.0

It is overall a strong choice when performance with large data sets and/or K8s are the highest priority. It would be best suited to teams that are already cloud-native or familiar with containerised workflows and are comfortable building to those specifications. For more traditional environments, it can provide great functionality but is likely to be bottlenecked by the expertise of the administrators managing the platform.

Pros

Espcially strong for compute, data, analytics and container native workloads. It has a known reputation for Kubernetes and managed services, which makes it attractive for teams building cloud native apps or platforms. It tends to excel with large scale data- processing and Ai workflows.

Cons

The biggest issue with GCP is that it often feels less familiar with AWS and Azure in enterprise environments, which isn't great considering that navigating either of those alone doesn't feel very intuitive. in an enterprise environment this can mean even fewer teams or administrators knowing the tooling and how to efficiently leverage it. The learning curve coming from a MS background is incredibly steep and the difficulties with mapping concepts between GCP and Microsoft on-prem means that it's difficult to have high level standardisations and cleanly integrated workflows.

### "Reliable Cloud Platform"

July 22, 2026

5.0

I have been very satisfied with Google Cloud. They provide a reliable platform that meets our infrastructure's needs. Stability and performance have been strong.

Pros

It offered a cleaner UI and more options of services that can be deployed and managed. Integration works well, reliable infrastructure, and the scaling allowed our projects to grow. Great resources on the support site.

Cons

The pricing is hard to forecast. There is definitely a learning curve for users unfamiliar with cloud platforms due to the number of products.

### "A breeze in the clouds"

July 28, 2026

5.0

The overall experice with using google cloud is that it is a shift from in house server use to using the cloud. The system is intuitive, seems easy to use.

Pros

This product is easy to use. It works well with organization and accesibility. Even of there is no internet you can downloadn and work on the project and upload once it is available.

Cons

The thing I liked least about google cloud is that sometimes it takes too many clicks to create folders. It can become quickly unorganized

### "Automatic back up for photos "

June 21, 2026

5.0

I have my pictures backed up and I don’t have to worry about losing them or taking up space on my phone.

Pros

It keeps my photos stored effortlessly. I don’t have to make choices to delete any pictures because there is plenty of space on the cloud and they are backed up automatically.

Cons

I don’t love that when I run out of space I have to pay for more space. The coat seems a little high.

### "Google Cloud - it works!"

July 6, 2026

5.0

Unlike individual application customization, document management in Google Cloud is customized through code, workflow triggers, and API configurations. It is built to seamlessly pipe documents from raw storage into intelligent data pipelines, converting unstructured paperwork into actionable business infrastructure

Pros

What I liked most about Google Cloud was the overall value for the money. It provides a robust set of cloud services, reliable performance, and scalability at a competitive price. I was also impressed with the customer support—responses were timely, knowledgeable, and helpful whenever we had questions or needed assistance, making it easier to resolve issues and keep projects moving.

Cons

While Google Cloud offers a powerful set of features, some of the more advanced tools have a steep learning curve and can be overwhelming for new users. The platform would benefit from more guided, hands-on training resources and simplified documentation to help users become productive more quickly. Improving onboarding and making certain features easier to discover would enhance the overall user experience.

### "I'm a fan of Google cloud "

July 7, 2026

5.0

Pros

That it literally hangs onto everything you need to ensure is not lost or deleted on accident. It also has proven more secure than Microsoft cloud or other platforms I've researched.

Cons

That it doesn't automatically just use the mobile data on your device to automatically backup files or your folders on that said device so if you didn't know that fact than you would have to go in and enable mobile data backup manually.. I have had the unfortunate scenario where I didn't know and phone broke. Couldn't get the stuff back due to it waiting for a wifi connection of which I never connected to initiate what in thought was automatically backed up.

### "Reliable Multi-Service Cloud Backbone for Our Logistics Platform"

July 28, 2026

5.0

Google Cloud has been a reliable backbone for CargoX's infrastructure, supporting everything from file storage to call transcription and real-time notifications. The ability to scale services independently as our platform grows, without needing to re-architect or switch vendors, has made it a solid long-term choice. While the pricing model and admin complexity take some getting used to, the overall stability and breadth of integrated services have outweighed those friction points for our use case.

Pros

The range of services under one platform has made it easy to build out our infrastructure without juggling multiple vendors. We use Google Cloud Storage for file handling, Speech-to-Text for call transcription, Firebase for notifications, and Maps for location services, and having them all interoperate smoothly within the same ecosystem has simplified our architecture significantly. Documentation across services is generally thorough, and scaling has been seamless as our platform's usage has grown.

Cons

Pricing can become complex to track once you're using multiple services simultaneously, since costs are spread across different products with their own billing nuances. The admin console, while powerful, has a steep learning curve when managing permissions and configurations across several services at once. Support response times for non-premium tiers can also be slower than expected when troubleshooting more complex, multi-service issues.

### "A Powerhouse of Innovation with a Steep Learning Curve"

December 26, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) has been highly positive, particularly for data-driven, modern, and containerized workloads. It feels like an engineer's platform—built with technical prowess and forward-thinking architecture. However, this sophistication comes at the cost of a less polished user onboarding experience compared to some rivals. It's a platform that rewards expertise and investment in its ecosystem.

Pros

The integration and sheer power of BigQuery (serverless data warehouse) and the AI/ML suite (Vertex AI, pre-trained models) are exceptional. Turning massive datasets into predictive insights feels seamless and incredibly scalable.

Cons

The console, while improving, can feel less intuitive and more fragmented than competitors. Understanding IAM (Identity and Access Management) roles, project organization, and service interconnection requires a significant upfront time investment.

### "easy to set up and navigate, included data package is too small"

March 31, 2026

4.0

I like that it's quite easy to navigate, you don't get lost in the depth of an unnecessary complex interface

Pros

It's ease to set up , ease to use , and works most of the time. File management and sharing is straightforward

Cons

I find the cost is too high, the included data should be more and packages should be offered in more suitable increments. Uploads feels slower (on the same connection, compared to others ).

### "Reliable for data hosting"

January 15, 2026

4.0

My overall experience with Google Cloud has been pretty good, mostly positive but with some frustrations along the way. it is reliable and fast once setup. Good thing is I can access my data from any device.

Pros

It works well. I use it for storage and it runs without any issue. Never had issue with speed or downtime. It connects easily with other Google products like OneDrive. I found this cheaper compare to other cloud storage options.

Cons

The screen and menus are hard at start. Too many options and it is sometimes not clear where things are. I got lost few times setting up permissions.

### "Powerful Cloud Platform Built for Data and Performance"

January 11, 2026

5.0

Google Cloud is a great choice for technically sophisticated teams that prioritize data, analytics, and scalable infrastructure. It shines in performance and design, but may feel less approachable for beginners or teams looking for simpler, more guided workflows.

Pros

What I like most about Google Cloud is how strong it is for data, analytics, and performance-driven workloads. Services like BigQuery and GKE feel purpose-built and well integrated, especially if you’re working with large datasets or modern containerized applications. Pros Excellent performance and reliability: (analytics and data pipelines) BigQuery is extremely fast and easy to use at scale Clean and modern architecture Delivers low latency and consistent performance

Cons

Steeper learning curve Billing can be confusing Smaller ecosystem than AWS (third-party tools and integrations)

### "My Take on a Powerful but Complex Platform"

April 2, 2026

4.0

Overall it has been a good fit for us, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone without someone technical on their team to help manage it.

Pros

I really like Google Cloud for its AI and data tools. BigQuery and Vertex AI make handling large amounts of data much easier, and the speed and reliability have been great. Pricing is also more reasonable compared to other cloud platforms we looked at.

Cons

What I don't love is how hard it is to get started. Setting up permissions is confusing, support is tough to reach unless you pay extra, and the billing can catch you off guard. The interface also changes too often, which gets frustrating.

### "Google Great"

September 13, 2025

5.0

Google cloud has been the most important with its storage back up and capacity, efficient data storage management capabilities. They appreciate the user-friendly interface, scalability, and capabilities like lifecycle management and versioning.

Pros

most for its strengths in artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics, its scalability and performance, its user-friendly interface and intuitive design, and its robust global infrastructure and security features. Its deep integration with Google's own data tools like BigQuery and Vertex AI, combined with its ability to handle massive datasets and automate complex processes, empowers businesses to make data-driven decisions quickly and efficiently

Cons

I personally dislike the complexity, unpredictable costs, and inadequate customer support associated with Google Cloud. Many also express frustration with a steep learning curve and inconsistent documentation.
