### "AI is helping increase our productivity "

May 31, 2026

5.0

It’s been great having everything in one central area. The integration of AI is increasingly helping our productivity.

Pros

We are using it more more for AI through Gemini to find information inside of our company. It’s a great tool that we could all use very easy to use.

Cons

There is not very much that we do not like. But it’s very easy to use. It’s very easy to find information.

### "Good product, harder when your org lives in both Google and Microsoft"

June 17, 2026

4.0

Running Google Cloud alongside OneDrive is a bit of a juggling act, but for our situation it makes sense. The school side benefits from the Google ecosystem and the rest of the organization lives in Microsoft. Google Cloud itself is reliable and the pricing for education is hard to beat, it's really just the dual-platform overhead that creates headaches. If your whole org is already in one ecosystem this is a much cleaner experience, but managing both is workable with the right processes in place.

Pros

On the education side of our organization, Google Workspace has been a natural fit. Students and staff are already familiar with Google Docs and Drive, so the adoption curve is basically nonexistent compared to standing up a Microsoft environment from scratch. Collaboration in real time on shared documents works smoothly and the storage management across users is easy to oversee from the admin console. For that use case it genuinely earns its place.

Cons

Where it starts to feel inconsistent is when you're trying to bridge the Google side with a Microsoft-heavy environment. Our main org runs on OneDrive and Microsoft 365, and keeping those two ecosystems from stepping on each other takes more active management than it should. File format compatibility between Google Docs and Word/Excel isn't always clean, and staff who float between both sides end up having to think about which version of a file lives where. It's a solvable problem but it adds friction that wouldn't exist if everything was on one platform.

Reason for choosing Google Cloud

### "First choice for AI and large data processing, as well as K8s workflows"

April 16, 2026

3.0

It is overall a strong choice when performance with large data sets and/or K8s are the highest priority. It would be best suited to teams that are already cloud-native or familiar with containerised workflows and are comfortable building to those specifications. For more traditional environments, it can provide great functionality but is likely to be bottlenecked by the expertise of the administrators managing the platform.

Pros

Espcially strong for compute, data, analytics and container native workloads. It has a known reputation for Kubernetes and managed services, which makes it attractive for teams building cloud native apps or platforms. It tends to excel with large scale data- processing and Ai workflows.

Cons

The biggest issue with GCP is that it often feels less familiar with AWS and Azure in enterprise environments, which isn't great considering that navigating either of those alone doesn't feel very intuitive. in an enterprise environment this can mean even fewer teams or administrators knowing the tooling and how to efficiently leverage it. The learning curve coming from a MS background is incredibly steep and the difficulties with mapping concepts between GCP and Microsoft on-prem means that it's difficult to have high level standardisations and cleanly integrated workflows.

I can manage all of my files from one space and customize it how I want. I’ve never needed customer support and I like that it’s free for me to use.

Cons

I don’t have anything negative to say about this application. I like everything about it and all of the features.

### "leading cloud computing platforms"

May 11, 2026

5.0

Google Cloud is an excellent platform for organizations that need scalable infrastructure, advanced analytics, AI capabilities, and collaborative document management. It delivers strong value and enterprise functionality, but users should be prepared for a learning curve and carefully monitor costs.

Pros

Extensive documentation and tutorials Strong enterprise-level support options Helpful for large organizations with premium plans Clean and modern interface Strong integration with Google ecosystem tools Excellent onboarding for basic storage and collaboration Competitive pricing compared to some rivals Pay-as-you-go flexibility Strong free-tier offerings for developers and small projects Excellent cloud storage and file accessibility Seamless collaboration through Google Workspace Real-time sharing and synchronization across devices Strong automation tools and APIs Excellent orchestration capabilities for enterprise workloads Integrates well with Kubernetes, BigQuery, and AI service

Cons

### "Reliable and easy to use once you get familiar with it"

May 5, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience has been positive. It’s a dependable platform that works well for storage and managing data, especially if you already use other Google tools. There is a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, but once you get familiar with it, it becomes much easier to use.

Pros

I like how reliable and secure it is. It’s easy to access my files from anywhere, and everything syncs smoothly. The interface is also quite user-friendly once you get used to it, and I appreciate how it integrates well with other Google services like Drive and Gmail.

Cons

At times it can feel a bit overwhelming, especially if you’re not very technical. Some features are not very straightforward, and pricing can be confusing depending on what you’re using. It took me a while to understand how everything works.

### "One panel, all services."

May 12, 2026

5.0

For many years, I have been using both servers and various services like maps, location, authentication, and calendar in my projects.

Pros

All services are conveniently managed in a single pool and with a single payment source. When a project has multiple requirements, being able to see all of them, including usage statistics.

Cons

When payment profiles are linked to your Google account, and you want to remove a payment profile, it becomes a real hassle.

### "Convenience of Storage"

April 23, 2026

5.0

Convenience and accessibility have been amazing but the "big brother" part where any files I have can be searched I'm not thrilled on. The only way around that is by creating your own storage setup.

Pros

I like how easy it is to sync up between devices. Being able to load files from my computer and access them on my phone before or during a flight is really convenient.

Cons

The only thing I'm not too fond of is how Google can also search through my files so it is not a 100% secure storage.

### "Reliable Performance That Just Works"

April 29, 2026

5.0

If performance and uptime are priorities for your workload, Google Cloud delivers. It's the kind of infrastructure you can mostly forget about — which, honestly, is the highest compliment you can give a cloud provider.

Pros

I've been using Google Cloud for storage and networking for over a year now, and the thing that has stood out most is how dependable it is. Uptime has been excellent. Developer-friendly tools.

Cons

Steep Learning Curve and Complex Console. Abrupt Account Suspensions. Complicated Pricing and High Costs.

### "Scalable and Powerful Cloud Platform with a Learning Curve"

April 30, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience has been very positive, especially for scalability and data-driven work. Google Cloud makes it easy to build, deploy, and scale applications without worrying too much about infrastructure.

Pros

Its scalability and powerful data tools—especially services like BigQuery—make it easy to handle large workloads, analyze data quickly, and grow without worrying about infrastructure limits.

Cons

The biggest downside is the complex pricing structure—it can be hard to predict costs and manage budgets. It also has a learning curve, especially for beginners, and navigating the console or setting up services can feel overwhelming at first.

Pros

Cons

### "Powerful Cloud Platform Built for Data and Performance"

January 11, 2026

5.0

Google Cloud is a great choice for technically sophisticated teams that prioritize data, analytics, and scalable infrastructure. It shines in performance and design, but may feel less approachable for beginners or teams looking for simpler, more guided workflows.

Pros

What I like most about Google Cloud is how strong it is for data, analytics, and performance-driven workloads. Services like BigQuery and GKE feel purpose-built and well integrated, especially if you’re working with large datasets or modern containerized applications. Pros Excellent performance and reliability: (analytics and data pipelines) BigQuery is extremely fast and easy to use at scale Clean and modern architecture Delivers low latency and consistent performance

Cons

Steeper learning curve Billing can be confusing Smaller ecosystem than AWS (third-party tools and integrations)

### "Very good, seamless way to connect all Google G Suite apps together on one account."

February 1, 2026

5.0

Great overall way to have everything connected through the cloud. Allows me to work on whatever I want, where ever I want.

Pros

Great value for money since it is free. Customer support wasn't needed as I didn't have issues. Very easy to use, basically seamless. Mobile access was barely used but worked well. Data management was used during collaborating and working on files/documents.

Cons

Not a huge amount of customization options in terms of what to and what not to sync on the cloud. For me it was fine because I sync everything but could have been an issue for others. Along this vein, there were also not a huge amount of features.

### "My Google Cloud Experience"

August 12, 2025

5.0

Google Cloud managed to make our team collaboration very smooth, its interface is intuitive, the security features are effective, and it’s accessible from any of my devices.

Pros

I like using it to store documents and share files with my team, I also really appreciated it with Google Workspace and with other Google tools, it allows me to work with peace of mind.

Cons

Its price should be lowered so that small businesses can really benefit from it, especially since its big potential is its ability to allow teamwork, it wouldn’t be nice for all the staff to use it with such a price.
