Email, sheets, calendar, contact, My Business, YouTube, and love the quick access to tons of day to day tools, that we regularly use. I also can easily manage my clients' accounts with the click of a button. Really easy and efficient. Pros The array of tools is very impressive, intuitive to use, and well organized in the sense that you don't have to go looking for individual apps. They're all easily accessed via a single dropdown. Cons Honestly, I really like everything, except the Gmail part. I just really prefer Outlook's layout. Google's is really clunky in my opinion. Adding a simple folder is not nearly as seamless as Outlook, for example. and they call it a "label" for some reason. If it's even an option, I haven't figured out how to sort the inbox like you can easily do in Outlook, like sorting by contact, date, etc. I limp through email but wish it was better. It was user friendly and I'd definitely recommend it. Pros What I most liked about this software was the ability to share files. I worked along side the other two people in my position on second and third shift and it was imperative that we be able to send things back and forth in a quick and easy way as our job required us to be multitasking constantly. Cons What we had the most difficulty with was not so much with the app itself, but with our management department. The cloud we were given access to was a Gentex account so if someone new needed to be added on, it was difficult to get them access right away and often times that would cause problems for us on the floor or someone else would have to step in in the meantime. Pros For me the most important thing is the scalability that Cloud gives you, you can increase or decrease the capacity according to your needs. Another issue is security, which with data encryption and identity verification gives me peace of mind. Cons The little control it offers us of the infrastructure generates limits, so it can not be customized, also the management of Cloud requires experience in this program as it differs somewhat from other analysis software. If you are looking for a professional platform for your startup or any type of large data, then you might want to go for other programs. If you have your data already built and would use it to perform queries or analyze the data, than Google Cloud Platform would be ideal. In conclusion it is not a bad option to go for, the user just has to make sure this is the ideal program to analyze your data. We have people that work in other rooms and work from home and with us all using Google Cloud Platform we are all able to share the same files and invoices and if anyone makes a change to something, it shows immediately updated for everyone else. Pros The best feature is that this syncs with my Google account. I use Google as my primary search engine and my laptop at home, my cell phone, and my computer at work are all synced through my Google account, and this platform syncs in real time to all of my devices. Cons We had quite a bit of compatibility issues when installing Google cloud on all our computer stations at work, I had to have an IT guy come in and do it, but now that it is done, it runs great. Only downside, however, it seems that if I need to do an update, it will say the pathway can't be found, and I've had to re-bookmark all my tabs within my cloud file. Having Google Cloud keeps people connected. Pros Website speed is crucial of business as well as personal. With Google cloud you don't have to store those large files, video files and images all on your site which slows it down a lot. You can easily add it to google cloud and just copy and paste the links into your website so the load time of your site is improved up to about 80%. Cons Google cloud offers a free version but you are limited to the amount of data and bandwidth and if you need a lot more space and bandwidth you could easy be paying well over $100 a month. I adore the cloud, therefore I would never convert to an other product! Pros In my instance, I use a variety of cloud development tools from the Google Cloud Platform for web development. I make use of their SQL, Storage, Compute Engine, and several networking technologies. I've discovered that it's been fairly simple to get these many tools to cooperate. One of my favorite aspects of utilizing Google Cloud is how simple it is to start up extra tools, set up distinct operating environments for testing, and move "tested" environments into production. I have been able to work with IT to import marketing campaigns data from multiple sources and store them for querying by analysts in my team. Due to scalability and stability of databases in GCP, I can keep moving more marketing data without worrying about slowing down the databases or crashing them. So, all analytics pulled using this imported data can populate a dashboard and keep it updated with fresh insights. Which helps in driving higher ROI. Pros My marketing team uses Google Cloud Platform to collect Google Analytics clickstream data and marry it with structured data from other sources. I analyze that correlated dataset using SQL queries. Some benefits I see off using GCP: I can access data online using a Google email address which I already use for other Google tools. I can export the data extract using Google Sheets and store it in Google Drive. I can import additional data by setting up a daily feed from Google Analytics. So, I get the benefits of a relational database with ability to scale using Google servers. Cons Google Cloud Platform is great for importing datasets from Google Analytics and other Google suite tools. But from tools which are not in the Google eco system, it involves heavy lift from ETL developers or architects. Additionally, GCP Bigquery tool has a limit on the volume of queries an analyst can run. Once that limit or cap is crossed, companies have to pay extra. So, using the LIMIT command in SQL becomes critical to limit the numbers of rows. Also, there is a challenge of legacy SQL vs. current version because they use different syntax. Pros for me I have been start using google cloud for long time already, especially the VM, the way that we use it because its dynamically, no worry about down time, cost is reasonable, no worry about security hacking/attack. best thing i like is dynamic firewall that google provides, that we can change the public ip for specific server, very powerful. can move VM from one region to another region faster.
