The platform is powerful and scalable especially for data analytics and application hosting. Pros Being that Google cloud runs on the same global infrastructure that powers Google search, Youtube and Gmail it has proven to have very strong reliability, speed and scalability. Customer support wasn't needed as I didn't have issues. Very easy to use, basically seamless. Mobile access was barely used but worked well. Data management was used during collaborating and working on files/documents. Cons Not a huge amount of customization options in terms of what to and what not to sync on the cloud. Pros It’s very convenient. I have every file/photo/, etc, in folders, and can easily search them up, whenever i need one. Cons They only give you 15GB for free, after that, you have to pay for their subscription plan. They offer 100GB (which is what I use), and they offer a 1 TB plan, as well! Review Source FT Faith T. The only way around that is by creating your own storage setup. Pros I like how easy it is to sync up between devices. Being able to load files from my computer and access them on my phone before or during a flight is really convenient. Cons The only thing I'm not too fond of is how Google can also search through my files so it is not a 100% secure storage. It’s made me more responsive, and more confident in my replies, all in all better at my job, as I always have what I need to be that hunting through past tickets, pulling up the policy docs, or checking a customer’s history. That type of predictability is part of what makes frontline support not-so-stressful. Pros It integrates the apps we use seamlessly behind the scenes things like our CRM, email platform, and shared drives. I don't much think about it directly, but I depend on it every day. It keeps everything quick, from loading customers’ information to retrieving shared resources for support. Cons Because I don’t run the technical side I sometimes encounter access issues when new folders or tools are introduced. It’s a slow process of untangling permissions, unless IT is snappy. Whether I’m at a job site or spending time in the office, I can quickly pull up files, check in on the team or share documents without lugging a laptop around. Cons A few admin settings are obscure. I had to go digging for menus simply to change sharing permissions for my team, and support isn’t always the fastest to respond.
