Pros

Backed up nearly 20 TB of files in just a few weeks. No issues, didnt lose anything. All of it uploaded quickly with no issues.

Cons

Would be nice to view media that we uploaded but thats not the purpose of cloud storage.

Pros

You never have to worry about security with google. Any login is registered and you have to identify yourself as the person logging in. It automatically backs up your information for you. Saves pictures in back up.

Cons

Storage runs out quick . If you’re work involved taking pictures you better be ready to buy storage

I just love Google Cloud platform as I was able to save my pictures and documents on it for a very long time. Therefore, even if I misplaced my phone, I was still able to access all of my data via the Google Storage Cloud.

Pros

Google Cloud Platform is simple to use. Large files can be stored and are quickly accessed and shared. The auto backup is great. It is highly secure and keeps your data safe. It comes with a variety of storage options to choose from according to your needs. Also there is no restriction on the number of files you can upload or download. It has made file sharing easy and now you can share even large files.

Cons

Being a long time Google Cloud Platform user, I haven't came across any major problem using it, and its getting better day by day.

### "Great collection of APIs, without a human touch"

I've been using many of the Google APIs throughout the years, mostly, as a way of acquiring intelligence for my projects. They served me well most of the time, aside from some billing and UI issues. At one point though, they've basically destroyed the project I've been working hard on (quota got stuck at zero) and all I got after multiple attempts to reach them was copy-paste responses that ignored everything I said. Don't repeat my mistake of making your project 100% reliant on their platform.

Pros

Lots of APIs are available APIs are easy to set up and they are well documented

Cons

Stability is not perfect UI errors and bugs in the Cloud Console Can be very hard to reach the support team in a meaningful way, they do absolutely everything to make sure you can't talk with a live human. Even when it comes to critical issues.

The best thing about Google Cloud Platform is it is very easy to use once you get hands-on and has a good service. It has amazing support and great documentation. Qwiklabs is the best tutorial platform for GCP.

Cons

Everything is great except the pricing part. It has amazing features which we can do everything on the cloud.

Pros

google cloud provides convenient storage of files on cloud, i like it because its so easy to use has good user interface and can be run even on android mobile phones

Cons

the only challenge with google cloud is that it only operates when there internet connections and this makes it more expensive even uploading files or opening them needs good internet

I have enjoyed the overall experience in viewing the services and features. Deployments are user friendly only things require is handon experience.

Pros

Virtual machines are very effective and easy to configure as per time zone. Logs and reports helps to counter any bugs.

Cons

I dont find any feature that is not worth for user only thing is process optimization can be improved.

Pros

Compared to AWS, the deployment time on Google Cloud Platform is faster than that on AWS. GCP is cheaper than AWS. The charge mode on GCP is friendly than AWS. So for startups who do not have a great number of user request, it is more money-saving to use GCP than using AWS.

Cons

The document of Google Cloud Platform is a little messy. Sometimes it will introduce several different concepts in one section. This is confusing especially for beginners. It will be more clear to separate different concepts into individual sections instead of trying to merging them together. After all, most document readings are from beginners.

Data storage and backups, we had problems with our server and almost lost everything, so this was a good workaround. It is super stable, scalable and a powerfull tool.

Pros

The power of this product and its versatility is amazing, also it is very easy to manage with different tools, the content on the internet is huge and also the comunity. Also it is very easy to install. The docummentation is pretty easy to find and have a lot of content to dig and take more advantage of the program.

Cons

Tools to manage your data are not as advanced or good as you can imagine, or maybe we are used to use other apps. There are security aspects that are more than a pain, because when configurating or giving access to users you will hit with some problems or things that you must do but you didn't know or are not explained very well.

It's been a life saver and is so simple to use especially with customers, coworkers, and schoolmates!

Pros

It is so readily accessible and so easy to use! I literally use it everyday for everything! I use it to share photos and documents and it make collaboration so much easier!

Cons

It always seems like I'm running out of space but that because when you delete something it actually just puts it in your trash folder so the space is still taken. If you deleted it from there though then you're fine!

The price (much of it is free) to use the data from Google is amazing for what you get.

Cons

Google often changes how features work or integrate with little or no warning.

Pros

Hands down the best program for storing data on the cloud in a way that is extremely organized and customizable. Files and Data can also be accessed by any members of the organization extremely easily through computer devices or mobile.

Cons

There are absolutely no problems with Google Cloud Platform as they update consistently fixing issues and continue to make sure there will be no future problems.

### "Your perfect solution for hosting a server or a discord bot"

I've personally used Google Compute Engine to deploy my discord bots completely for free. One of my bots ended up going in 10000+ servers and for that one I was easily able to scale my machine to fit the load that the bot had to take. Due to my computer science background, I have also been able to set up backend servers for my web apps quite easily.

Pros

I like how quick it is to set up a basic virtual machine in Compute Engine and get your backend server or discord bot running. Google cloud also offers a free tier that lets you test the waters and see if the platform is for you or not. It also lets you scale your machine seamlessly as the load grows bigger. This is a big plus and was the reason I ended up using the platform in the first place.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve involved with this software as you need to know how to use the Linux terminal. Compute engine can also get quite expensive on its higher tiers.

Great I love the product and ease of use.

Pros

I like the ability to work collaboratively with other members of the team and edit and review documents in real time and make changes. The use of My Drive helps to expedite access of the drive via my main workstation, but I have the option to access it from any workstation

Cons

Some of the compatibility issues or default use of google processing applications. Some the features are not as good as that on microsoft.

It is excellent to have the automatic backup feature. It is extremely secure and safeguards your data. Depending on your needs, there are a number of storage options to choose from.

Cons

As a long-time Google Cloud Platform user, I haven't encountered any major issues, and it's getting better by the day. At times though it can be slow at times due to the rest of the Google network.

It's pretty great and it's generally free. You can pay for it if you need more space/for business. What more could you ask for.

Pros

Google is the best thing ever. It is super easy and you can do whatever it that you may possibly need it for. I love the email categories.

Cons

More email customization would be great but I make do. Sometimes it thinks an email is not important when it really is. I've tried telling it to put it into the primary email but it doesn't for all of them.

Ottimo software molto conosciuto in cui è possibile archiviare delle grandi di quantità di dati. Fra le varie opzioni disponibili è possibile scegliere il piano di abbonamento più adatto a voi in base allo spazio che desiderate avere sul vostro cloud.

Cons

Per adesso non ho nulla in particolare da segnalare, unico difetto a mio avviso è che sui dispositivi apple il programma non è molto stabile e alcune funzioni a volte non funzionano.

Overall I've had a really great experience with Google Cloud!

Pros

I've been using the Google Cloud for a long time and it has never failed me. I use it for upload video files to the Drive and it's a safe and secure method and sending files to people and knowing that it will be in the servers no matter what.

Cons

Not exactly a con but it only allows for 16 GB of storage free of charge, so if you want to store unlimited data you will have to pay a monthly fee.
