I love being able to access important documents from any computer anywhere I go. It helps me carry less and still have access to it. Cons What I like least about Google Cloud is the occasional hiccups it has when files don't upload to the cloud successfully or not being able to access my files from time to time. Pros Everything is connected and you can switch between different accounts easily. Once again, the Google Cloud interface is easy to use like all of the other Google products. There's consistency between the different products where they all have the same look and feel which is nice. You know when you're using a Google product and transferring between them is easy and intuitive. It’s fast, secure, and smartly designed; definitely feels like a platform built with developers and data people in mind. If you're working on anything data-heavy or AI-focused, I'd say it's well worth trying out. Pros It was definitely in the data and AI tools. BigQuery is ridiculously fast for handling large datasets, and their machine learning setup with Vertex AI is miles ahead of what I’ve seen elsewhere. If you’re doing anything with analytics or automation, it really shines. I also liked how well it integrates with Google Workspace; if you're already using Gmail or Docs, everything just fits together nicely. Cons It’s not as beginner-friendly as it could be. The interface isn’t always intuitive, and the learning curve felt steeper compared to AWS. Also, there aren't quite as many third-party tools in the marketplace, so depending on what you're doing, you might run into some limitations. Pros I really appreciate the tools Google offers, especially when it comes to data and AI. BigQuery, for instance, is one of the most powerful data warehousing tools I have worked with. It is fast, scalable, and great for handling large datasets. Cons The biggest downside for me has been the learning curve. It can be really difficult to figure out where everything is and how to configure services if you are not already familiar with cloud systems. The user interface is not very intuitive, and I sometimes found myself jumping between menus or having to Google solutions for things that felt like they should have been straightforward.
