From start to finish, our experience has been excellent. We began our quest for a new database only two years ago.

Pros

is very easy to use with great customer support and training. Full instructions for use are incorporated right into the site. The cost is very reasonable. Integration with Constant Contact for donor communication is easy to use.

Cons

Searching for a donor record is not always ideal as the system is not as intuitive as one might wish.

We are pleased that we chose . It's a good value for the money. We're actually paying less for DP than we did for our last donor management product, and we have more capability.

Pros

Most of the system is easy to use, and the customer service is top-notch. We're working on our first fundraising event, and that is going fairly smoothly.

Cons

Generating and updating letter templates is a bit more complicated than it needs to be. Also, you have to design your own fundraising website if you want more than just a form.

Donor Perfect suits us well for all that it does and we appreciate your amazing chat support at most hours of the work day - thank you!

Pros

It's efficient and shares information that's most valuable clearly. I think the best feature is the salutations tab and how much we rely on that.

Cons

The fact that there is not a toggle to remove deceased individuals from list pulls adds extra work every time. Exporting lists have also been noticeably slower to download and I'm wondering if there's any resolution to that.

I feel as if I need a degree in data management to use DP in the ways I want. I was a novice when I started in the field of development and have learned everything along the way. If I had a background in data, I'm sure it would be easier to navigate. However, since I am not a data management expert, I crave a more intuitive user experience.

Wonderful experience overall. The onboarding team was incredible helpful and make sure we were set up for success.

Pros

offers a lot more flexibility than our previous CRM. I love being able to create custom and calculated fields that provide us with exactly the data we need for reports. It's wonderful being able to use the screen designer to move information around on the main and gift screens. It has much more capacity for customization, plus the option to use SQL is very helpful vs other systems I have used.

Cons

The forms and landing pages have limited options, such as the inability to insert a google map into an event page.

Overall this is a fantastic software. It is comprehensive and very customizable. They are constantly doing things to improve and upgrade the software. They also have many partners that provide additional services and completely integrate with .

Pros

It is a very robust software. Since you can customize every page, it allows you to track what is most important to you. This makes donor management and collaboration very easy.

Cons

I find the reporting can sometimes feel clunky. There is a lot to learn about the system because it does so many things. When pulling reports it is not always easy to understand what to request to get the data you want and need.

Pros

This is my first exposure to a Donor Data base tool. Being thrown into the fire to lead our transition our online membership enrollment/auto recurring as well as other donor online gifts from Flipcause to DP, we have ZERO issues. Additionally, not having any chance to take training sessions, I have been figuring things out as needed. The system is pretty user friendly and when I have questions or trying to resolve.. the online chat has been working wonderfully. So happy that you have real live support folks - almost always they have been able to answer my questions or solve my issues. Great team.

Cons

The user sessions expire very quickly and is very Annoying! I and my colleague have to continually re log in. Online form - Limitations. Although we haven't had issues with our the DP Classic online forms, there is some nuances with them and what we preferred to include on them. Per our developer the limitations of DP wouldn't allow for them. Accounting integration in our Quickbooks. The UICC decided to purchase as it was advised the DP could upload into QuickBooks. Unfortunately only at a consolidated gift level by GL not by donor level. So we have duplication of accounting efforts.

My experience so far has been excellent. The training resources and the in-person trainings have been incredibly helpful and the professionalism from the staff is refreshing.

Pros

Customer Service from the very beginning has been so good. The knowldege of the DP staff and their ability to accommodate our organizations needs has made the on boarding process smooth and pleasant. I also love the user friendliness and the knowledge center to help me take full advantage of all the system can do to help make our fundraising efforts more seamless.

Cons

I think the least liked part is that the migration process has taken a lot of time but the staff has made it worthwhile so not so bad. I am both looking forward to getting access to using the database and also kind of dreading the work i have to do to clean up our records and streamline. At least, DP is user friendly and has great customer service to help me as we ramp up.

Overall, I really do love the platform; it's very easy to use, it has everything you need to set up different ways to collect donations, and again, it's a one-stop shop, which is very convenient and cost-effective. I would highly recommend this platform to any non-profit organization looking to change their current CRM.

Pros

That you had built-in platforms, which make for ease of use and make it a one-stop shop. There are a ton of forms that you have created and thought of for accounting and event management. Your event platform is excellent as well. You have different ways to set up an event, which doesn't necessarily mean you have to include the auction piece.

Cons

there are a few things that could be improved on the constituent's information page, and there are some things that really aren't needed. I also was not happy with the chat support, as I am new to the system and was trying to set up an event for the first time, and I had to go through 3 chat support people before I got the right one that helped me the most and put me in the right direction.

It's a cost-effective, well-supported solution for our current needs. A huge step forward from our previous system! It's taken significant time over the past year build out our system, but I'm seeing the time savings now. Having real-time reports at my fingertips is fantastic!

Pros

When I was researching solutions for our small nonprofit, I saw multiple reviews mention the outstanding customer support. They were right. Customer support has been kind, responsive, and helpful from day 1. I've brought many problems to them and together we've found solutions. I feel like they are a true partner with our nonprofit and am grateful for that!

Cons

Learning to work the filters has taken a lot of work and time, especially when creating email send groups. (And I have a ton of query building experience!) Constant Contact doesn't have an inclusion/exclusion format for its send groups, which is a pain. Straightforward reporting on sustainers has been challenging too.

Overall, is a very powerful database system for donor management. It is still growing a lot in terms of being used as CRM or, at least, as an intuitive CRM.

Pros

We are always sure our data is secure with . With affordable options and great customer support, DonorPerfect is hard to beat. The fact we can have multiple users and assign tasks to them is always great. Having donors laid out in a way we can see how long have they given and how many gifts is extremely useful.

Cons

The Contacts menu could be a bit more intuitive and be linked to iCal or Google Calendar features to make it easier to get notifications. Forms are a bit outdated and could use refining. The email builder could also use work, since we don't realize formatting is incorrect until we are sending receipts, for example.

Compared to lots of other CRMs, is super affordable. It's also scalable and offers lots of integrations, so you can do a great deal of customization. It's fairly easy to use, once it's set up, and there are a number of ways to get help or find solutions to problems.

Cons

Some features are a little clunky; for instance, the difference between Classic Forms and Drag-and-Drop ones is incredible, with Drag-and-Drop being much more attractive and easier to build, but it isn't an option for every type of gift. However, updates and improvements do seem to happen pretty regularly.

The SmartActions are a game-changer. They save our team significant time by automating tasks that would otherwise be repetitive and opportunities for error. I also can’t say enough about the customer support. The live chat support team is always quick to respond, incredibly knowledgeable, and consistently able to guide us through even our more advanced setups. Our dedicated rep goes above and beyond, offering thoughtful solutions—even when that means advising us not to purchase an add-on we don’t really need. That kind of integrity builds a lot of trust.

It is an amazing product, but I often wonder if we need to make a change because there are a lot of things we don't use about it, like the forms, because they don't look very good on our website, and they payment forms, because the processing fees are a lot. We still have to pay for those things as line items though. It is a large cost for some of the simpler things we do, and rarely if at all acess the add on products.

Pros

The amount of features and abilities for reporting and data management, plus the integration with Constant Contact, is amazing. The support is great too.

Cons

It doesn't integrate well with other payment platforms, and the processing fees for credit cards is kind of high. Also we are fairly small, but we are trying to get more people as contacts, which also raises the cost.

We just started using Donor Perfect last year. It has been much easier to use than the previous software we had. All communication has been geared toward making Donor Perfect work for us instead of us having to adjust to how it works.

Pros

I have appreciated the support and training to get the most out of Donor Perfect. All the updates of trainings available as well as changes to the site like the Constituent page just added to the dashboard are well communicated.

Cons

I have had some difficulties in working with the filters to have only the information I want on the reports. I have chatted with customer support, but I'm a tech novice and still struggle.

I use the software daily and I am gratful for the learning center that has some great resources and helps me learn how to utilize the different features. Also, the Customer Support Team is always a pleasure to talk to. I call every few months when I need help setting up a special filter or if I am confused with something I am seeing. They are always very helpful and I never feel stupid for asking for help.

Pros

I like how easy it is to link donations from various donors and having all of my notes in one place. We also are able to have various members of our staff access and share their notes regarding the donors.

Cons

The only complaint I have is the few times their system was down. But they were quick to respond and provide updates until the system was operational again.

I think it is an easy tool to navigate and the support team is just amazing. I feel after 3 years using it that it keeps updating and bringing new features like the new online forms. The donor management possibilities are great and we have work to do to use it at its full potential.

Cons

There is nothing that comes to mind. I think sometimes building reports can be a bit challenging, but again the support team is always very helpful and quick.

I have been using for 3 weeks now, my company has been using it for much longer though. It has been an amazing tool to help me, as a new director, learn who the donors are and begin to reach out to them and build relationships. This has also been amazing for me to see who is engaged with us, and who I need to begin to work on better relationships with so that we can support them, and also gain future support from.

Pros

is an easy way to keep track of donors. It helps to create mailing lists for e-blasts, as well as physical newsletters for future fundraising campaigns as well.

Cons

I am still learning how to use this platform, as I am 3 weeks into this position, however, the only issue I have with it is there is occasionally a lag with the human verification button at the log in screen (and that could be from my side).

It is above average, compared to other "CRM" systems I have used in the past. I generally don't have any issues with the product or system, and the support is often very helpful when needed.

Pros

How easy it is to keep track of donations and reports. Currently I have to create a lot of reports manually, so it is easy to find the information I need.

Cons

When downloading online forms and it keeps asking to create a new donor, when the same exact information is pulled. I never could understand why the system thinks a new donor should be created when literally every field is the written exactly the same. Also, I don't like that I have to re-sign in every 10 days. Why isn't this every 30 days like other websites? I have to use Donor Perfect every day for my non-profit, so on the 10th day when it asks me to wait for the verification email, it always makes me cringe since I have to wait multiple minutes for the email to come through.

My overall experience is very good. It is easy to use, there's plenty of training to help build skills and network with industry colleagues. Its secure and generally user friendly.

Pros

I like for assignable fields in reporting, ability to integrate with other systems, such as Constant Contact. Great training programs are always available. It is easy to build campaign and track progress. It is my best friend for managing my relationships with donors, and even the non-donor friends who reference new prospects.

Cons

The only challenges I have, are in the variety of options in building reports. Its sometimes gets to be a challenge to limit the database appropriately. Mostly that's a user problem, I forget a button or a field or add one I don't need. Some reports generate in a format in I don't love, but there's always a workaround.
