Additionally, our credit card processing system is integrated with DonorPerfect, helping to streamline card processing. Cons There really isn't a feature of DonorPerfect I dislike. The company is always open to new ideas to improve functionality and offers a platform to submit ideas to improve the customer experience. Pros What I like most about DonorPerfect is that it is a easy and friendly software that I learned quickly when I started 7 years ago and still love it! No big changes in the software for it to be a learning curve each time. Cons What I like least about DonorPerfect is that there is not an overlap in their lunch schedule if you need to reach out to them between 1:00 and 2:00. I have the donor information I need at my fingertips plus articles, how-tos, and a responsive customer support team to answer all my questions. Pros Prior to DonorPerfect, we were running our development department with spreadsheets. The difference DonorPerfect has made is remarkable in terms of tracking donors, identifying which relationships need more attention, and understanding each donor's experience with our organization. It is easy to use but still allows for customization and many options for doing so. Cons I am still learning the ins and outs of DonorPerfect's reports, and sometimes pulling the information I need isn't as intuitive as I would hope or takes much longer than I would like. The onboarding team was incredible helpful and make sure we were set up for success. Pros DonorPerfect offers a lot more flexibility than our previous CRM. I love being able to create custom and calculated fields that provide us with exactly the data we need for reports. It's wonderful being able to use the screen designer to move information around on the main and gift screens. It has much more capacity for customization, plus the option to use SQL is very helpful vs other systems I have used. Cons The forms and landing pages have limited options, such as the inability to insert a google map into an event page. Lot of videos and webinars on using the platform that we need to continue to attend to improve our utilization of the product. Pros We transferred to Donor Perfect in February. DonorPerfect made it very easy to transfer our data from our old CRM system. The screens are well layed out and easy to customize for the information we need and acknowledging gifts is quickly done in the Gift screen. Also reports can be easily generated using Report Editor. Cons Still getting used to setting up fundraising pages - it is a bit cumbersome as the fundraising pages are set up in Give Cloud and then are mapped to Donor Perfect. Also, some of the mapping is done using "Codes" created by DonorPerfect instead of the "Descriptions" that we use to categorize. However, I would highly recommend training on the reports. Pros DonorPerfect is a great CRM database. It's easy to use, but reporting can be complicated and counterintuitive. Cons What I like least about DonorPerfect are the reports. They are not at all intuitive, and I personally struggle to use them. I like the customer support, the ease of use and the cost. Pros Donor Perfect is easy to use and the customer support is excellent. This is the most cost effective system and the right size for our organization. Cons The give cloud interface with safesave could be improved. They operate separately and safesave also serves for profit so they aren't a good fit. The customer service is not good. It is TOO expensive. I also value being able to have multiple users logged in at a time, this creates seamless communication with our team when we are in different stores or locations. Cons I think the quality and use-friendliness of the online web forms could be improved, however I like how they are directly linked and integrated into our platform as it makes donation entry efficient. Blackbaud’s system was more complex than our organization required, whereas DonorPerfect offers a more intuitive, user-friendly experience at a very reasonable price point. Over the years, I have stepped in to support donation entry and thank-you letter processing during periods of staff turnover. Even without being a daily user, I was able to navigate the system with ease, supplemented by DonorPerfect’s excellent training videos. This flexibility is a significant advantage, as it reduces reliance on a single staff member as the system expert and helps ensure continuity in our operations. Pros Ease of use, excellent value for the money, customer support, especially their online "chat" support option. Cons Creating reports and online donation forms can be tricky, but customer support is always available and helpful.
