Cons I would like more flexibility in the pre-programmed report templates. It would be helpful to see the address fields more manageable, for new way married people are addressed. I would also like the IN KIND donations have more flexibility for the acknowledgement letters. They've often made "work-arounds" when needed. The responses are always quick, also. I've worked with or studied multiple CRMs. None offer EVERYTHING, it seems. But Donor Perfect comes the closest to offering everything in one spot. Pros The Customer Support is top notch! For the most part it is user friendly and easy to jump right in to figure it out. Cons Reports are easy to run and many are readily available. Building new ones and building or finding the right filters to go with them takes a bit of training. There are still limitations with those, but luckily the help staff have been able to fix most of those issues. I also continue to request that the forms have more options such as segmenting. Pros DonorPerfect is incredibly easy to customize for each organization's needs. Automated prompts are easily set up to flag donors who should be contacted, and a "contacts" tracking feature to track interactions and set reminders for future touch points. It makes moving prospects toward larger gifts strategic and meaningful. Cons It can be challenging to keep all staff entering information into DonorPerfect in the same way, which can make report running challenging. They have excellent training and customer service, as well. Pros DonorPerfect is a comprehensive donations software system. Reports are easy to produce and have contributed to audit compliance. Cons At the beginning we had some issues with transferring data. The additional cost of this software required a corresponding adjustment to our budget. The system is easy to use and get started in less than a month. I am a volunteer who set it up on my own with the help of my Onboarding Manager. The Donor Management module is very powerful and flexible. The Marketing capabilities through the Constant Contact email integration work great. We still need to set up our accounting integration, but we look forward to no longer having to enter transactions to our systems twice. Pros Robust donor management and ability to add custom fields. Tight integration with Constant Contact that allows for very polished emails and tracking back to the donor record. Simple data import process that I was able to do on my own. Very helping Onboarding Manager, who made the process seamless. Cons Event Management could be improved - while there are multiple options, the native DonorPerfect functionality is lacking and the functionality through Givecloud is a bit complex. Their support is great and the reps listen to your needs, even if they can't do what you are asking for at that moment. Pros Their customer support is top notch, always easy to work with. Their people are well acquianted with the project. Cons Some of the report functions are not flexible enough. You can't get different columns from certain pages into the same report. There is always a hard upsell on new features. Pros DonorPerfect is quite user-friendly. I was able to quickly make sense of the data presentation and get started right away. Anything I couldn't figure out on my own was remedied by their easily-accesible service team and training videos. Cons I was a little thrown off by the tabs in the Donor Profiles, but once I realized that all the data was there--folded into the tabs, I was able to find everything I needed.
