September 9, 2016 4.0 Pros Having our data on-line and accessible to multiple users from wherever is a huge plus. DonorPerfect has all the great features you need and many you simply like to have. Data input is a breeze and there are great tutorials - both written and video. The telephone support and free webinars are very well done. Cons With any software product there is a learning curve. We have just begun using their Donor Pages program for social networking as well. It is wonderful how it all works together. Pros The staff has been very helpful in making the transition. Donor Perfect is easy to use. Many of the reports we need are built in. Setting up other reports is a breeze. Changing to Donor Perfect was a great move for us. Cons I really haven't found a downside to this software. It may not have all the bells and whistles of arranging seating charts for your event, but Donor Perfect is the best I've seen for the function of tracking donors and donations. It is extremely user friendly, organized, and we are able to pull any report we need at the drop of a hat. I also can't say enough wonderful things about the DonorPerfect client accounts team and support staff. Our Client Account Manager, Paula Burns, is extremely helpful and friendly -- she is always finding ways to make our individual experience better, and she makes it her personal duty to ensure we have everything we need to remain a successful business. The DonorPerfect support team is a joy to work with as well; they are always ready to help with any questions we have, and you always get to talk to a live person. All charities and foundations should take advantage of such a useful and insightful program. Pros I was able to learn how to navigate and use Donor Perfect's functions on my own, without official training. It is easy to use and is a necessary tool for our everyday work. Training sessions and customer support have never failed us and have helped enrich many at our office. May 7, 2015 5.0 I came into my position (Development Asst) with the position of Development Director being empty. I had to jump right into working with a program I had no experience with, I was at first troubled about that. As I got my hands dirty and started working around Donor Perfect I found it to be one of the most user friendly softwares that I have ever worked with. Any time I came across something that I was unsure of I just emailed tech support, and got the help I needed very fast. Now a days when you call places it seems you wait on hold forever or don't even get to talk to a human, that is another + with Donor Perfect - always a human and always get the help I needed. I’ve spent over 40 hours entering, reviewing, and correcting data as well as establishing protocols for individual/constituent entry. The program has a lot of power but it’s more than our nonprofit needs. Pros The functionality appears to be very good. Cons It’s not intuitive. It’s not easy to prepare reports. The more I use it the more I like it. Pros Easy to learn. Excellent support when I have questions. Good training when first setting it up. Allows for variances for each situation. Helps us better track our donors & donations. Good ways to cross check in case there is a misspelling. I would give it more than 2 stars for customer support. Cons None that I can think of. July 28, 2017 5.0 Pros I like how it is intuitive, but also has extremely powerful. You can use it as a database, but you can use it for reporting and analytics as well. Whether I send an email or pick up the phone they are always there to answer. In addition to the exceptional customer support, the software is extremely user-friendly. I have benefited from this system because it organizes all my contacts. I can track both individual donors and groups of donors. One feature I really like is that I can pull codes for all credit card transaction every month and quickly match them to donations. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this software. We are a small non-profit that was keeping track of our donors in an Excel spreadsheet. Our implementation went incredibly smoothly and we quickly and easily learned how to work within the DonorPerfect Online (DPO) database to get the maximum results from it. The customer support has been fantastic, both in the initial mapping out of our database to ongoing support whenever we need to pull a report or do a mass mailing. Pros I have had very little difficulty learning how to use Donor Perfect, with no previous database experience. I have had excellent customer service during the few times I have called with questions. I am usually able to find answers to my questions in the Donor Perfect User Forum. It was built for fundraising so covers the basic of what is needed for fundraising Cons reporting is pretty basic and its does not let you build comprehensive reports. It has plenty of features packed in, including financial reports, emailing donors, notes, demographics, exports, and some webhooks for software integrations. I've found that it is a little less inviting than I'd like it to be. The different functionalities that it provides and the user interface could use some help.
