### "Just get it"

We had a great experience with EZBis. The service was great. When our computer was down due to hardware or software we had a resolution within mins. If there was ever an update it was prescheduled and done over a weekend or at night to keep the prectictioner from not having to alter schedules to keep people working and our offices flowing. Never had issues with security or hacking stories, I can’t say enough about customer support. All the tech were very nice and efficient. We went from written appointment book to EZBis (this was years ago) so the set up was just like we were use to in the old style appointment book that allowed you to go into the many individual accounts from that page such as billing and payment and of course future scheduling. Great experience I’m expecting with the future upgrade with AI it will only get better and much more user friendly

Pros

They have the no frills basics down in running an office. What I appreciated I was able to make alterations to the common statements in the pre inserted letters, notes etc… to the way I like to report things making my responses not look like they were canned

Cons

Notes is always, better way to integrate things like back and neck index into the notes, that is being done but better uniformly instead of looking like it was jammed in. I’m sure with the recent update with AI that has already been resolved

I have been a client of EZBIS since 1990 and I plan to stay a client until my retirement. It has brought and kept my clinic with the times: especially with all the changes over the years.

Pros

The program has grown with my practice and has kept up with all compliance parameters. I was able to add and subtract locations and establish additional businesses within my umbrella of business. The features of the software allowed for both the billing of services and payments of services rendered to be easily tracked. I felt, after dealing with the customer support for my client form customization was the best value for money spent.

Cons

Finding the true and clean balance of services rendered is sometimes difficult to track due to clients that change insurances mid treatment phase.

Excellent. I used this software as a billing manager, and when I became the practice manager at a new chiropractic clinic, I persuaded the \[sensitive content hidden\] to switch programs and purchase EZBis. The \[sensitive content hidden\] is very pleased.

Pros

EZBis is very user friendly and helps make our clinic run smoothly. Every module works with each other so there is no double entry.

Cons

Creating your own reports in the survey generator is a little tricky, but once you know how to use it, it is easier.

### "I love EZBis"

I have always appreciated the customer service EZBis provides. I have the maintenance agreement and consistently get good responses and help with the software. There are very few problems with EZBis and they are good to catch glitches and get them fixed ASAP.

Pros

The features of EZBis are very easy to use and I have used EZBis for around 30 years.

Cons

We do a lot of nutrition sales and I like being able to enter our products into the system. I do wish there was a way to track sales of individual products better.

Good. They were extremely helpful during the clearinghouse shutdown and still assist with more than just the software service. Their staff is friendly and follows through on cases when they don't have the answer offhand. They've been able to keep up with most of the healthcare industry changes over the course of the last 5 years.

It has overall been a good experience. When we first started using EZ Bis it would have been very helpful to have been told to get both Front Desk and Collection Desk modules at the very beginning. Have to change to OPEN ITEM accounts a couple of years later when we added Collection Desk was a bit complicated, especially reconciling the old insurance claim information.

Pros

Being able to call and speak directly to customer support is extremely helpful!

Cons

When using the Front Desk or Collection Desk modules, it would be very helpful when exiting from a patient's account and searching for another patient with the Select Patient search window, that it would go DIRECTLY back to the same letter of the last name of that previous patient. Example if the last name begins with S, when exiting that patient's account, the window should go directly back to the names that begin with S. This especially occurs when reviewing ERAs because they are listed alphabetically.

The fair price and ability to have same day live customer support were very important factors.

Our sales team could have done a better job to educate you on the various modules and how they work hand in hand. However, since your purchase of the software over 10 yrs ago we have created new "packages" to include particular modules to help in these areas mentioned. We also have "a la carte" pricing as well for those clinics that wish to build as they go.

Great overall experience!

Pros

EZBIS may not be as attractive of a product or as well known as other chiropractic softwares, but it far exceeds all other options out there in regard to functionality and customer service. We have been with them since our office opened and they're so responsive. They're always working to improve their product and ask for feedback regularly from their customers. I love how personable the staff is. I know the majority of the people that answer the phone when I call. They take customer satisfaction very seriously and truly care about their customers.

Cons

The ease of functionality in regard to the patient aspects (text reminders, outdated-looking and difficult to use portal) could use some improvement. The EHR could be a bit more user-friendly and have more options for notes reports (bullet point format instead of narrative format, etc.) Overall, EZBIS far surpasses all other options out there.

Pros

It is easy to use and navigate. You can pull any report with ease and it be accurate, that saves me so much time. I have used other EMR's in the past and EZ Biz is by far the best! It is easy to use, customer service is always professional, polite, and helpful. Also, there are no long wait times when you run into any issue, which rarely happens, but when it does it is fixed ASAP. They even help train you when you hire a new employee if you need. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

Cons

Maybe, sending the records to the clearinghouse, Infinedi. But it is ok, but if I had to chosse that would be what I'd say.

### "20+ years of using EZ Bis"

Whenever we have had software issues, we are able to call EZ Bis and someone is always able to fix the problem. The software is always being upgraded and improved.

Pros

The appointment book is great! I have multiple providers in the office so each provider can look at their patient appointments or view the entire clinic schedule. EZ Bis is always upgrading and making improvements and adding new features. Now our patients can communicate directly via text with the front desk appointment book. We are able to run hundreds of different reports.

Cons

I do not use the ERH module, but I believe it has had multiple improvements over the years.

Pros

One of my favorite features is the group scheduling option. We have treatment plans that can be three times weekly for 4-5 weeks and the ease of scheduling all the appointments of once is very efficient.

Cons

There are two areas specifically I would like to see improved upon. One is when entering patient medications into EHR the list of medications is MG specific and MANY MANY of our patients NEVER list that and typically do not even know themselves. It would be nice if there were just an option with the name of the medication only and also you cannot move forward until the date medication was started was entered that is another thing patients do not always know. If that was just an option to enter and not a requirement it would make entering the information much more correct. Also in the EHR there is limited space for symptoms and you cannot remove any symptoms to make room for new ones if they have been used. Specific to us there may have been used once many many years ago but we know we do not use it, it would be nice to be able to remove to make room for symptoms that need to be added.

MG specific was an old requirement for MIPS clinics, which you guys are still licensed and never called in to remove after notifying clinics that this was no longer a requirement (some clinics wanted to keep the old settings). Please call the office to get an update to your software. The EHR program works much smoother without those old settings.

### "Best Software for Chiropractors"

I have been using EZ BIS for over 16 years now, sometimes for different offices that used to use something else. EZ BIS has never let me down. From the beginning when I had so much to learn they were there and helped me so much. Especially with all my claim issues. They have a great team and their customer service is off the chart.

Pros

I love you can sit down with a New Employee and within Minutes, they have the basics to go into the program and see what they need to. Within three days they are moving around in EZ BIs with ease. They work hard to make sure you are compliant. If there is a box to fill out. FILL IT OUT. It is there because it is needed and makes sure you have what you need.

Cons

Health Insurance is changing to fast. We now have clever underwriters who write out things, or apply ded to one service and not another, or copay to one service and co insurance to another. Soft max. Hard max. I think for all the changes we could use a box to explain a little better in General screen but for now we will just go put it in memos. (but EZ bis will be all over it soon.)

Scheduling patients application has always been the best feature on this software.

### "Could be a lot better"

It's okay. I'm not about to rave to a colleague about how awesome this software is because there is a lot of room for improvement. It looks like you have everything you might need but I wonder if the speed and functionality of the software is affected by how much stuff you have in it. I would love to drop off a lot of things if I could get it to run faster.

Pros

I like that it has access to the ICD-10 codes.

Cons

1\. It's too slow!!! - I sit there and click a tab and wait and watch the blue circle spin while it loads up. I had hoped to have a software that I could use in real time while a patient is in front of me but the process is too slow and cumbersome to do that so I have to write my notes later on which is not ideal. 2. There's too much- The SOAP notes program has so many features that I don't use. Maybe they are good in a super large office but not ours. I would estimate that I don't use about 60-70% of the features. Mostly because the software takes too long. 3. It's not portable- I had hoped to have a program that I could take with me from room to room so that I could do the notes in real time on a tablet or something like that. Unfortunately this isn't the case. 4. Training- I was not impressed with the in-person training session. Much of what I do on this product, I feel that I had to learn myself.

Reason for choosing EZBIS

We chose EZ-Biz solely because we utilize your billing software so it was easier to integrate. If I were starting from scratch in an office that didn't use EZ biz for billing I would likely look for a different product. Knowing what I know now, If I had it to do over, I would have kept EZ biz for billing but would go with a different software for chart notes. Sorry, that's just the truth.

We have used EZBis since 2014 and have valued the ease of connecting with customer service. They have continued to take our suggestions for improvements and implemented many of them.

Pros

I like that there is an app that I can check our schedule while on the go. I like that billing, insurance and scheduling is all in the same program and connected together.

Cons

It is challening to add new treatment methods or testing or treatments to the system. I wish there was an easier way to add new things. I wish there was a way to customize online scheduling. We do not use it because it does not work for the way we set up our schedule. I wish there was a way to customize each screen. I do not like that we cannot customize new patient intake information for patients to fill out and autofill into their account. We have to use the portal intake function and still give them papers to complete.

Pros

Scheduling and keeping daily batch reports has been key over 20 years. Claim manage my was also helpful although I am semi-retired and do not need that feature anymore. Customer service and updates are excellent.

I would need more hands on training to utilize all the new features that have been added over the years.

### "User friendly software"

Pros

The ease of getting patient's medical record, and the customer services are awesome when I need the help (some of them)!

Cons

The only thing that I have challenge through out my 12 years using this program is that when I encounter a problem (which sometimes happens during my business time) I have to tell exactly what I am doing when it happens. Some of these problems happens to fast or I need to by pass it to get the patient check out or helping a patients with something they need. Tracing the steps to create the problem again is hard since I am the only one working at the front desk.

Very good - we have been with EZ Biz since the 1980's and recommend it to other doctors often.

Pros

consistent and good customer service - able to discuss options with \[sensitive content hidden\]

Cons

the difficulty in customizing / know that updates are beneficial but seems to be many and often need to upload changes to all users! monthly fee and then always assessed another yearly amount?

Hey Janice thank you for your years of business with us. I understand updates may seem inconvenient but they are necessary when working with any computer program to correct issues and prevent further problems. That being said, although you are notified of a change, many clinics will update once in a month and get all updates at once. Regarding your monthly fee, this is your clearinghouse for insurance claims but please know you are not obligated to use this service with us. Many clinics choose to enroll since we handle the enrollment and support. Please call our trainer for help customizing the program. He can set aside time to assist you in your needs.

Pros

the ease of working within the program.

Cons

When printing billing statements a feature that would help is to be able to sort out certain patients, or a certain price range that we don't want to print out. We have an issue that the program shuts down ALOT every single day, it becomes cumbersome to log in every few minutes, especially when we have a patient in front of us.

Hey Dana. We appreciate the review. Thanks for the suggestions on statement printing, You may not know about all of the options for filtering patients who receive statements, such as sending to specific account categories or omitting statements for patients with a zero or credit balance. We will add your ideas to our enhancement list however. You may also consider sending electronic statements to save yourself time and money. Regarding the shutdowns of the software, this is extremely uncommon and sounds like WIFI or an internet related issue on the clinics side. Without details I can only guess. Give us a call so we can help you troubleshoot.

### "Excellent Customer Service"

We have been loyal to EZBIS for over 25 years because of their great customer serivce.

Pros

I don't have to call often, but when I do have questions the support team is always fast, friendly and very helpful.

Cons

I wish the extra modules were not so expensive to upgrade to. And I do wish they still did in person training seminars.

Patient search need to be better along with easier movement of scheduled patient to changes in time and date.
