Pros I like that I'm able to keep your different properties categorized and our tenant information safe and secure. Cons I REALLY wish there was some sort of CRM built into Rent Manager, also its not as intuitive as I would have wanted. Training on Rent Manager was a bit of a learning curve.. September 12, 2017 5.0 Pros Since day one almost 7 years ago working with Rent Manager the sales and support staff have been phenomenal to work with. No matter what the question, no matter how big or small, or how many times, in the beginning, I bothered my Sales Rep, she was always willing to take as much time with me as I needed to answer any questions or help in any way she could. The tech support staff is also incredible and willing to work tirelessly to help with any issue, if there is one. It works extremely well at intergrading all the components a property manger needs to deal with on a daily basis. Rent Manager allows you to keep track of your owners, properties, units and tenant in a very effective way. This software has the capability of tracking service issues which we use to record maintenance requests. These service issues can be linked to a unit, property and or tenant which will show in the history and notes making it easy to view and analyse. We have been on other property management software prior to this and find that Rent Manager is far superior product. Cons I can't say much to this question as Rent Manager has been very helpful in taking care of an issue that we have had with the software. The only thing I might mention is a few of their additional product sets, like RM Mobile and RMInspection, in my mind need a little more enhancements in order to work effectively for our needs. I am told they are working on some of our requests so I am confident we will see them in the near future. Review Source VT Veronica T. It has allowed us to get more organized, and helps me to understand how our properties are performing. Pros The reporting features are very robust. There are hundreds of stock reports, with options to adjust and customize reports. I can set up report batches to automatically send on a regular basis-- either to myself, or to other stakeholders. Cons The report customization features can be a little bit overwhelming to a new user. Fortunately, customer support has been very helpful in this arena! Switched from [Yardi Breeze](https://www.capterra.com/p/164741/Yardi-Breeze/) Implementation with Yardi did not go well, and we were never able to fully embrace it. January 10, 2018 5.0 Dare I say Walt Disney himself would be impressed! :) Pros Rent Manager 12 is by far the most superior, flexible, manageable, creative software on the market for the Multi-Family Management/Owner Industry! After working with Rent Manager's staff for 2 years now, I cannot stop singing their praises! Their customer service is not only THE MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE staff, but friendliest, positive, creative folks bar none! Any questions you may have are 99.9% answered on the 1st phone call and you don't have to wait to go up the ladder for someone to help you. There are multiple ways to get to certain screens. Couldn't ask for a more user friendly program! Its helpful that you can use it for single family or multifamily homes. Cons It does not have spell check. The owners statements can also be confusing for owners. I believe the owners statements should more correlate directly with the items entered into the system or at least explain what those particular numbers reflect. Need more tutorials/self help/videos for learning to maximize functionality. Pros Rent Manager is comprehensive, secure, and very functional. Customer service has been top notch, but they can't do tutorial only fix specific questions. I love how we can grow tenants and accounts and it can build without rescaling. Cons Need more tutorial videos. customer service has been great but they can't answer specific tutorial; only trouble shoot. I will I can learn to maximize rent manager. With that said I am very appreciative of how easy it is to just jump in and start working alongside my coworkers who have been here for many years. A lot of the time I don't need to sit down and have someone walk me through everything because the layout of RM is quite easy to follow and figure out. Pros I really like the customization of rent manager and how easy it is to to contact customer support with any questions or concerns that I have. I also greatly enjoy how friendly the staff members that I talk to are. Cons Sometimes the wait time in certain areas of the software are quite high. Loading up inspections sometimes can take up to a couple minutes and when pulling reports I have seen wait times up to an hour. There is a Rent Manager University which helps me learn all the features and functions available on Rent Manager. What I especially like is that, whenever I have a question on the software, Rent Manager tech team is so helpful and always answers my questions. Pros It is easy to use. I am not tech savvy at all and I am able to navigate through the program\` Cons Nothing bad to say about this program. I used Rent Manager offline (stand alone) in the past but now I am online and I feel secure that my data is safe. November 2, 2016 1.0 It was recommended so I gave it a try. It took a couple weeks to log in due to their error. There is so much to it so I was recommended to pay an additional $ to have someone walk me through it for a hour /5 sessions over the phone. Still too much and when I attempted to set it up with my business realized it did not have what I needed. I let the rep I spoke to know "Thank you but it is not user friendly and does not work well with our business. Please stop payment and refund the 4 other sessions I paid for but not yet used." She says they can not and now I am responsible to pay for a year, along with the fact I am at a loss on the additional charge to learn how to use it. So unprofessional! Such a scam. They must be hurting for money that they can not refund my dollars and needs to charge me monthly for a year. Scummy! Pros Nothing Cons Way too much and such a scam. If it doesn't work for a company don't continue to charge and have us locked in. I do not recommend a company like this to anyone. Bad morals.
