I have experience using a different software and this has to be one of the most user friendly ones. Pros The software is user friendly and efficient to use for large communities. The utility configuration component is helpful and allows for direct exporting of any document you create through rent manager. Cons Overall pricing to create new templates or report writer. Pros Rent manager is very easy to use. You can search for almost anything in the help center and find answers to your questions. Cons I really like Rent Manager. I just don't think it was designed for Landlords in NYC. It seemed like a good fit for our small company. It offered some new things that we were looking for. I have been a customer for many years before I switched to rent manager online. My implementation, \[sensitive content hidden\], was so helpful and got me up and running very quickly. Pros The UI is intuitive. The software tracks everything I need and more. Rent manager is amazing the few times I have needed it. Cons I can't think of any real cons. The software does so much for you that you may need to take a few notes so you remember where everything is. He is knowledgeable. Pros It is super easy to use and navigate. User friendly. Cons Nothing. I like it. I have used a lot of accounting software, this is by far the easiest. November 22, 2024 5.0 Rent Manager is the first property management system I have used and I found it very easy to learn! Both RMX and RM12 are intuitive, and I enjoy how related things flow from one area to another (checks to invoices, or being able to click a tenant name on a report). Pros Rent Manager is intuitive, easy to learn, and packed with features. Cons Rent Manager Express can be slow to load at times and is limited in functionality compared to Rent Manager 12. Pros From a family business that dad started, it runs by excel spread sheets and paper copies.... Then I come on board and try to get it all updated to this century. Having one place to do all of that is perfect. Cons hmm, maybe there is so much routes to go with it, it could take forever to go over detail by detail on how to do everything. Cons Some of the features are complex. So for some people it takes time or requires guidance to be able to navigated. No regrets! " August 19, 2024 5.0 I left Appfolio and move to RM and I don't regret it for a second. Pros This is a great product, BUT its the customer support that makes this the product I will choose over all others. They are cheerful, they want to here your issue and/or your requests for improvement. They value their customers. Cons There are a few features that I know RM is working on bringing out, however I know that other company's already have up and running. (ACH SD returns is a big one) Their mobile app is also something I hope they work on because it is something that isnt quit up the speed. Alternatives considered [ResMan](https://www.capterra.com/p/135182/ResMan/) Reason for choosing Rent Manager Price at first, but ultimately the ability to design and control just about everything was what one me over. Switched from [AppFolio Property Manager](https://www.capterra.com/p/92228/AppFolio-Property-Manager/) I couldnt get Support on the phone to help with my reconciliations for over 3 months!
