Pros: It is light weight
It is fast and coding can be done without any chaos
It have many features and a very good editor.

Cons: Every functionality that i want , i have to download the separate library jart for it and it requires internet connection for such needs.

Comments: We just moved to the cloud with DataHealth and Eclipse support has worked directly with them to get us up and running. Server based set up worked flawlessly but we've added locations and the networking became more complex.

Pros: Updates work without bugs and always improve the program function. Support is top shelf, friendly and immediate. One of the most recent updates actually included changes we requested! Very efficient user interface with logical build. Quick, excellent notes with very good customization options that are easy to do.

Cons: I have no complaints at all.

Great for posting chiropractic charges and tracking and day to day use.

Pros: The patient Rolodex, the calendar, the statistics are all easily labeled and simple to pull up quickly when patients are waiting.

Cons: There is a little trouble we've had marrying eclipse for our second user on our back office computer. It keeps only being able to do limited training functions.

Your 2nd computer was never properly linked with your main copy of ECLIPSE. Of course, we don't understand why you never called us about this problem. You've never hesitated to call us in the recent past.

Comments: I love the ease in use of the software. You can be super detailed, or very simple. I recommend this to any doctor who will listen to me. I have used several systems and this one makes the most sense. Though you have several options to do a specific task, each one makes sense and there is no redundancy in the entries. MORE reports from the data entered is my only request. Great product!!!

Pros: Everything can be done more than one way, keeps track of claims and payments wonderfully! All the reports are great. So much detail should be able to be accessed.

Cons: Not all fields do something, inconsistency in field entry-some clicking, some tabbing. Data entry would be even faster is you didn't have to stop and click one field vs. tabbing and typing.

Pros: Great support. The program allows you to use it to the level that you need or desire. I appreciate that.

Cons: The program itself has a lot of steps to perform some actions. The EHR is not easy to use. It needs more point a click on to diagrams rather than writing.

We actually introduced the first integrated electronic SOAP / billing system back in 1991, and by 2010, we┬┐d moved away from the older narrative formats that such systems create (which auditors & reviewers instantly recognize). The Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) has even testified about such formats and what they term ┬┐cut & paste┬┐ mentality before Congress. The Encounter was released in 2010 to conform to concepts mandated in the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009, DHHS preferences, and published studies regarding structured & unstructured data in clinical documentation. Comments: If you are looking for a reasonably priced, all inclusive program......THIS is for you! Easy to use, complete, accurate and compliant. Great for both a new doctor just starting out, or an established practice looking to improve their overall bottom line and patient satisfaction.

Pros: Time saving, revenue increasing, easy-to-use product. SOAP notes are compliant. Billing is easy and accurate. Patients love checking in on the kiosk and getting appointment reminders on their phones. This software has already improved our patient satisfaction and retention.

Cons: The ledger took a little while to understand, but is much more accurate and complete (and easy) now that we received training. No other issues!

Pros: The appointment and ledger are super easy for my staff to use. The program makes electronic billing and charting extremely easy for our doctors and staff.

Cons: The initial price but you get what you pay for. The Help desk you also have to wait for a call back.

Wish I had this when I opened my clinic 15 years ago!

Comments: I couldn't be happier with any other software!

Pros: Customer support is 2nd to none! It's nice to actually get help when I call with a question rather than having to wait for a few days and get a call back.

Cons: I'm very pleased with my recent purchase of Eclipse. Nothing bad to say. I have been impressed right from the beginning.

Comments: I work in a few different practices and I like the Eclipse software the best out of all of them.

Pros: I have used Eclipse for over 20 years and find it to be very east to use and easy to train new employees on it. Very nice layout. Multi-case use makes for really easy tracking of our services and providers.

Cons: I wish the reports were a little more detailed . I would like to see a better services list with more allowances for pulling details from billing.

Pros: It's a software that is very user friendly to people who have not a lot of experience or knowledge with computers and programs; It tells you exactly what you want to know

Cons: It's a very sensible program, if an error occurs the customer support can handle the situation as soon as possible and fix it

Comments: Staff is mostly helpful but not all the techs have the same patience

Pros: Moving around the program, specificity for insurance based practices is great. I have had staff pick up learning the software fairly easy

Cons: Not cloud based,only runs on Windows, no phone connection or emails direct to appointments,limited use with Cash Pracrice Systems

You've been using ECLIPSE since the early 1990's (you purchased it directly from Parker Computer Systems) & have had the ability to send appointment reminders via text message or email, to individuals or groups, for well over a decade. There are also a variety of 3rd party services that will contact your patients via phone. Next, you can indeed use ECLIPSE in the cloud or access your ECLIPSE system remotely. Of course, *any* software will be faster & more secure on your LAN as compared with cloud based software ┬┐ especially during hours with peak internet traffic. Finally, the ECLIPSE developers have maintained both insurance & cash patients (many of the cash payments are on ┬┐Health Made Affordable┬┐ aka ┬┐HMA┬┐ contracts) in their own multi-disciplinary chiropractic practice for years. We will attempt to contact your office to discuss these capabilities.

Comments: I would love for some of the fields to be more like windows meaning instead of having to hit the paperclip to attached a managed care profile, I would like just to type "Med" and it auto suggest Medicare. Maybe the same idea for Guarantor, can I just type "Hor" and all the Horizon Blue Cross plans would populate. Would seem like less steps.

Pros: Support, the videos online and the phone support are great. Answer quickly and don't speak down to you.

Cons: Can't leave SSN or DOB empty. Sometimes patients don't want to give out. Also when printing a bill for the patient, lose history, it date printed changes to most recent date so you can't see that you have billed the pt twice.

To retrieve an insurance company (your Medicare example), there may be dozens of options for names like ┬┐Aetna┬┐ or ┬┐Travelers.┬┐ The goal is to locate & assign the insurance plan that matches this patient┬┐s insurance card. The icon provides instant access to a grid that displays pertinent information (like the payer┬┐s mailing address) so you can make an informed choice with the fewest keystrokes. Otherwise┬┐ how would you know whether you had the correct company? Next, you┬┐re correct regarding DOB (this is a contractual requirement related to physicians┬┐ Rx)┬┐ but ECLIPSE does not require that you enter SS#┬┐s. Finally, ECLIPSE maintains a complete & detailed audit history of any & every electronic or printed bill or related item you create, re-print, download, etc. And this information is readily available in multiple places on every patient┬┐s ledger for filtered display or printing. So you certainly can see whether you billed a patient twice! We suggest you call the Help Desk to discuss these issues.

Pros: We have used ECLIPSE for 11 years now on a recommendation of another chiro. They have kept up with the way we do insurance and keep up with all the new changes in the business. Their electronic health record is customizable and easy to use and can change to whatever you need. The cost of ECLIPSE software was 1/3rd of some of the competitors which is always a plus. I would recommend ECLIPSE to anyone, we love it.

Comments: Customer Representative was most gracious in helping us resolve an EHR problem over the last few days. I needed to restore a backup and reinstall our EHR and he was confident, patient and friendly.

Pros: I appreciate how comprehensive Eclipse is for our chiropractic office. With 3 chiropractors, massage therapy, reflexology, acupuncture and nutritional health coaching, our scheduler can handle it.

Cons: The note-taking has been a thorn in our side for many years, and we keep working to improve, but it is still a time consumer.

Comments: There are a few "quirks" that once learned, become a non-issue. The trick is learning what those "quirks" are!

Pros: Eclipse is a great tool for a growing business. Tutorials and the help desk make all the difference in learning how to use the system to it's maximum efficiency.

Pros: The gentleman I spoke with was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to walk me thru adding the new user installation. He also helped with the daysheet issue I was having trouble with.

Cons: the only complaint the Dr. has with this software is in the document/encounter section. If someone changes insurance, can't pull over their encounter information. always has to do everything over in the new case. gets very frustrated about this (and has inquired about ChiroTouch because he heard the documentation is much easier).

We were puzzled by your comments & asked the Help Desk to contact your office. You appear to be using ECLIPSE in unusual & unintended ways. You also seem unaware of options on the screens you use daily. (For instance, you can easily move an existing Encounter among a patient┬┐s cases or use it as a template for your next Encounter within any existing case.) The concept of cases in ECLIPSE is intended for situations that require simultaneous treatment of [for example] Major Medical & Personal Injury under a single patient ID# -- not for a simple change of insurance. In our own multi-disciplinary office, we use the ┬┐case┬┐ concept to separate chiropractic treatments from physical therapy. Most patients in most healthcare practices never require more than one case. It┬┐s unfortunate the doctor chose to inquire about new software rather than simply call us to gain a better understanding of how to use ECLIPSE! All his options are on one screen, easy to access, and refined by years of suggestions by his colleagues.

I just hung up the phone with the support staff for almost an hour regarding help with my billing problem, then called back and spoke with Chris with another quick question.

Pros: I have been with eclipse for 27 years. It has been a most reliable and stable software platform. We have been granted a 99% success rate on our e billing 3 years in a row. We have only needed to reach out for support on few occasions and have always gotten our needs satisfied in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this company as it has been TIME TESTED! They service a very large segment of the health care community and continue to provide stellar support

Comments: I have been in practice 32 years and had tried several different programs. I started using Eclipse in March of 1992 and never had to look for another product. The old phrase "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" applies to your program. Thank you 26 great years!

Pros: The biggest Pro is the outstanding service. Anytime I or my staff have to call we are always greeted with your friendly staff & always receive resolutions to whatever issue we are encountering. The program is user friendly and Eclipse has always stayed on top with updates. In our ever changing insurance environment this is essential. The value for money is also a plus!

Cons: I keep coming back to this section (Cons of program) and seriously can't think of one that would justify listing here. There are always issues that crop up, but that usually has to do with some change in insurance and it requires Eclipse to create a work around, but that isn't a con on Eclipse's part.

Great practice management software, don't know how we would work without it.

Comments: I highly recommend Eclipse to other clinicians seeking a simple to use management software program in their offices. I have only used some of the features and realized there is so much more to utilize and create for your own personal templates of reports, data bases, etc.

Pros: The Eclipse office management software has always been easy to learn and utilize. The support staff has been very thorough in ensuring I am satisfied with their help when they are assisting me.

Cons: The ignorant computer operator, me a 55 year old provider who always delegated the task to someone else on the staff, is now needing to handle the software end of the practice. I am very limited in any capacity involving the use of the computer and was terrified of it. Eclipse's support team has made the learning so easy and accessible. The Saturday afternoon hours for the "holding of my hand" to help me learn the amazing options and features of the software was so beneficial for me.

Pros: Although Eclipse is for health care clinics, we all have protocols unique to our profession and also to our individual offices. I find Eclipse software can adapt to the way we like to run our office. From EHR (now MIPS) requirements to a daily task list, it has you covered. For 20+ years, I have found the billing component second to none whether my patient pays at the time of service or we are submitting to a primary and secondary insurance on his or her behalf. And simply put, if a mistake is made, it can easily be corrected. Behind the scenes, one of my favorite gems through the years has been the Patient List which allows our office to run a report with a variety of filters- of which you can choose one or multiple. Finally, I have to mention the support team behind the program. They answer their phone and they help you find a solution. What more can I say. Love it!

Cons: I really can't think of anything I would change. The program continues to evolve keeping it current with the changes in the profession and within the billing industry.

Pros: Good software, easy to use and whenever you need help they are there for you for all your needs especially hector he goes above and beyond.

Cons: I wish it will allow you to send attachments with your billing to the insurance company while billing.

After your local Medicare contractor began sending remittance data that didn┬┐t seem to conform to federally mandated claims balancing standards, we updated our import logic to specifically catch & report these errors to you. Next, though specifics are payer dependent, ECLIPSE has in fact, been able to handle ANSI 837 claims attachments for years. You can also associate any patient documents with either a date of service or a specific bill.

Pros: It is important to have a customer service that is available when you need it. Things always come up and when I have questions I need answers immediately and with eclipse there is great customer support.

Cons: I have found that the note taking option can has some room for improvement. Maybe it is that I have not taken the proper time to familiarize my self with this portion but I always get intimidated by this part of the software.

Pros: We have had this software active in our office for nearly 4 years. It was easy to install and customize to our office. We have not implemented all of the features as of yet, but look to in the near future. The training was very straight forward and easy to understand. If you have an issue, usually operator error, the support team is patient and understanding when explaining things to you. They don't talk over your head as some do that we have had in past with our other software. The electronic billing that is used with the software is also easy to us and their support staff is also very helpful and will get you through anything that you are having problems with. We love the Eclipse software and have recommended it to other chiropractors/

Comments: HD was and is very helpful. He walks you through the steps carefully so that you understand exactly what your doing!! I am rather knew to this clinic and have never had to call the customer service department, but all of the employees tell me to call and speak directly with HD. He is the most friendly and supportive customer service representative and I would strongly recommend anyone with questions to contact him.

Pros: It is a very easy program to use! This program keeps our clinic organized and honestly, we would be lost with out it. Customer service is PHENOMENAL!

Pros: l. Data entry very easy to get used to. We've had this product for a long time, and we continue to grow with it. 2. Finally starting using the CALENDAR. Yes, believe it or not, up until about a year ago we were still using a paper appointment book. CALENDARS GREAT!! 3. Decided to start doing our own billing. (Thanks, rep) I am not real computer savvy, but I can say I am now successfully doing our billing, and getting paid. The ability to literally "one click" to Infinedi is actually reality. 4. Having to call Eclipse for HELP is exactly that. No matter who you talk to, they speak in a language you can understand, and will stay with you until your problem has been fixed. 5. Price is so worth it!!

Cons: Literally can't think of any. I suppose if anything, my only complaint would be having to leave a message when I call. I'm just spoiled that way. I always get a call back, and guess what??? I get to talk to a human being.

Comments: If they could make a section where we could take a picture of a patient and attach it to their file.

Pros: Everything is straight forward and self explanatory. The help desk staff are very patient and helpful with explaining anything that is not understood clearly. The staff is quick with response to any technically problems that may occur with the program or even if it is our computer that had a glitch.

Cons: This product is overall great. I have not had any difficult issues with anything. I would like it to be more manageable with the updates. Updates are only done on the main computer which it would be nice to be able to update from one of the work stations.

Comments: We weren't using Eclipse's EHR because we had been using DC Powernotes for many years. DC Powernotes stopped offering support and updates several years ago so we recently looked into going with another software that we thought would have a good EHR but when we revisited Eclipse's EHR we were surprised at how good it had become. Much better than it was years ago. We always loved Eclipse's practice management capabilities but now with the ease of EHR it's got everything we need. Definitely use the third party vendors that work with Eclipse, such as X-Charge & Infinedi for integration of credit card & electronic billing and remittances and DataDepositBox for cloud backup.

Pros: Their practice management does EVERYTHING we need and more. Their EHR is through and fast. Easy to use interface. Constant updates. Great support.

Cons: There's not much we don't like about Eclipse. I suppose the only thing we'd like to see is that they go cloud based. Then we could use it on an Apple computer!

With regard to fonts, all we can do is point out that we adhere to CMS carrier guidelines for printed bills (e.g. "Use Courier New font for computer-generated claims. Do not print in italics, bold or script. Do not mix fonts"). Of course, you can have custom statements created for you by a variety of third parties in whatever font style you like. And the same is true for any form letters you might create. Next, you have always had the capability to dictate into existing clinical documentation templates as well as modify those templates or design your own... and the best proof of concept is our newest "Behavioral" template, which was recently certified to the ONC Stage 3 "Social, psychological, and behavioral data" standard set by the federal government. Finally, we don't understand your "Not really Mac firendly" comment. ECLIPSE was designed for & runs on Microsoft Windows. It wasn't created to run on Apple computers (though we do have clients who run it on iPads).

Pros: Very easy to utilize reports of all types, aged accounts receivable, birthday lasts, appointment reminders, simple to apply payments and print or process electronic claims.

Cons: Some of the reports and itemized bills are not as customizable as could be. Only patient complaint is the patient receipt as for some patients it does not have enough detail.

Overall: It basically runs my practice, all aspects except for SOAP Notes, but with the new upgrade I will be doing that as well.

Pros: Staff are all great! Always have worked me out of jams like crashed computers and network issues. I have used Eclipse for a decade before I realized the encounter feature that I wasn't using which very nicely switched our office to EHR 100%. Often complimented on the great notes

Pros: Cost and reliability. I am a solo practitioner who work part time. All I need is a simple and reliable software that does scheduling, billing, and EHR, which doesn't cost too much. I also like the fact that Eclipse has been around for years, so that I can expect a stable relationship for the future. I am hoping this is the last time I have to custom to a chiropractic software.

Cons: So far, the available of communication method between my staff and me (while I am in a treatment with a patient) is my least favorite. I would not know if my staff send me any message unless I keep the "Office Chat" window open at all times or keep my computer's sound on, so I can hear a sound when I receive a new message, which I don't want.

The incoming message is also displayed on the status bar at the base of your screen in blinking red text until it┬┐s dismissed by your actions. All of this happens regardless of whether the Office Chat is the topmost window to help ensure you don┬┐t miss a message. Pros: We have had eclipse for many years and never had a reason to consider switching to another software. It is reliable, and if an issue arises it is quick and easy to get a helpful answer. This particular instance we had an error that was not reported by anyone else, and couldn't be recreated since it was so strange. This didn't phase the tech team though - they made a fix and had an update out within the week! Sometimes it takes that long just to hear back from a company. There was plenty of followup ensuring that the fix was still working.

Cons: Any issue we have ever had, has been resolved so I can't really say much here! If I'm trying to figure out an issue, it's easy to look it up or call. Really our only complaint is that we wish we were able to fully switch over to using Eclipse to process credit cards - we will as soon as our contract with our current processor is complete!

Comments: We researched many Chiropractic Software options. I am on several Chiropractic message boards, after reading remarks about other software, I am so glad we chose Eclipse.

Pros: The program is very easy to use. Galactek's customer service is fantastic; always helpful and patient. I appreciated the longer hours that they are open as well as some Saturday Hours for assistance. Special thank you to H today for all his help today.

Recommendations to other buyers: We should have done more extensive training when we stared with Eclipse. This is our fault, not the companies fault.

Pros: Appointment schedule and billing components. Could add an option to block time for multiple days or months. The new addition for multiple appointments in the patient charts when there is a conflict is very helpful.

Cons: Payment applications in patient accounts. It would be helpful to have the payments automatically applied to the oldest bill when adjustments have been completed. An easier option would be an billed amount on the top banner in the patient ledger. In addition to patient owes tab a unbilled tab would be helpful!

Pros: I use the ECLIPSE Software daily at my company, I've had this software for 2 years and I just love it. ECLIPSE makes the billing proces very easy for me and my employees, with this software i can also schelude consults and many more, the EHR (electronic health record) its one of the best thigs of the software the doctors in my company love it, this also has an extensive alerts system that is very helpful, the security features saved my company once from a fire, for this and many other things ECLIPSE its a must have in my company.

Cons: There is nothing negative from my point of view! If you had to improve something that would be your system of notes sometimes there are failures to save certain notes and that can be annoying however this happens very rarely but it would be good if they fix it

Comments: Software should be updated to correctly show the breakdown of the explanation of benefits in order to post correctly. This is from a manual and EDI posting stand point. Posting should be easy and completely done from one screen. Deductibles should count according to what is applied not billed charges, especially for out of network provider.

Pros: My experience with customer service is exceptional. One of the rep was very consistent, helpful and knowledgeable.

Cons: The system does not do things that are necessary for posting payments & deductible accurately. Out of Network providers require more details in posting

Pros: Our office has been using Eclipse for over 15 years as our Business Management Software. The program has been the most stable program we ever used and I had used other major programs that were nightmares. Their software support teams are the best and work diligently to resolve any and all issues with tremendous followup! Their software is continually evolving and improving with a note system that's awesome and easy to use. We use it for both Chiropractic and Acupuncture services. All software programs run into glitches, however, with Eclipse been once in a blue moon, and if one occurs they work tirelessly to correct the glitch to our satisfaction. Entering payments, electronic billing, tracking unpaid claims, statistics, mailing labels, texting patients, emailing patients, plus, plus are just a few things this software is capable of doing. They even have a credit card option to use!

I have been with Eclipse for 3 years. They have been by far the best office management software company I have dealt with in 18 yrs. of private practice. Awesome tech support HD went above and beyond and got my system back up and running.

Pros: Easy to use and easy to teach to new employees. Good quality for the price. Software seems to run quickly, and customer service is always great. Training videos are a huge plus as well.

Cons: Texting and emailing interface is not easy to use. Takes more work than it is worth to send texts and emails to patients. Some features are counter-intuitive, such as having to click on the big patient info box in the patient Rolodex rather than the search bar to search for a name.

Comments: we will continue to use eclipse, the program works well and has the features that we need but it is definitely lacking in comparison to more expensive alternatives

Pros: Eclipse has an excellent price point. We have been looking at alternate software for about 6 months and cant find anything close to eclipse pricing. The program updates frequently and functions well.

Cons: Many contact features such as email, patient text messaging etc. while technically usable are so difficult and unrealistic that they are useless.

So, for example, to send a quick text reminder to a patient who is late for her appointment: right-click the appointment, select text message from the pop-up menu (which indicates whether texting is allowed & available for her), then click ┬┐OK┬┐ to send an automated text message or optionally update the default text prior to sending. For all appointments in a date/time range, it┬┐s equally simple. Pros: This was installed at the office that I purchased. You own the software, but it doesn't really work well unless you pay the annual fee. Once the macros are set up, you can enter a note quickly. The reports were decent. Integrates cash practice and cc processing.

Cons: Cost is my number one objection. I didn't like the billing portion of the software either. It's time-consuming to set up the macros. Doesn't feel very intuitive. Remote backup is extra.

First, ECLIPSE is not currently & never has been subscription based. Thus, the ECLIPSE program does not function differently based on fee payments of any kind. Of course, you can't, for example, write prescriptions unless you subscribe to an add-on service that offers them. Next, ECLIPSE does not have billing "macros," so we're not sure what you're referring to. ECLIPSE does provide a wide variety of individual customizations (as checked / unchecked options) for payers that you can use as necessary. These provide ways to handle the rare exceptions to standard coverage; they are hidden unless you need them. And yes indeed. ECLIPSE recommends a third-party HIPAA accredited service for online backup. Finally, we're sorry you never took the time to truly learn & use the software, but we're puzzled by your cost comments. The system you selected as a replacement has higher annual fees than ECLIPSE.

Comments: ECLIPSE has kept our overhead really, really low as the practice has grown.

Pros: I spend most of my time handling back-office operations including billing, payment posting, etc. I love the automatic payments posting (when it's an option from that payer). The billing, receivables reporting & follow-up features allow me to handle almost everything for our chiropractic/physical therapy practice in < 2 days/week. And we've made all sorts of custom forms over the years to handle all that insurers keep putting in our way & populate & print the forms with the push of a button. This feature alone has saved me lots of time!

Pros: Technical support is supportive. Most of them are very knowledgeable and easy to get in touch with. The software does have some problems that Eclipse is working through, but other than that it is very user friendly.

Cons: I don't like certain things but find the software easy to use and navigate. It is plug and play type software and there are several ways to do one thing.

Pros: The EMR is the best part of the program. It is easy to master and use. I also love the texting feature of the scheduling module.

Cons: The accounting side has some cumbersome aspects. There is a feature to put multiple patients in on a single check but it does not figure the deductible correctly unless you enter each patient individually.

Comments: I would highly recommend Eclipse to anyone that wants a streamlined EHR experience. The way that the data is organized works extremely well for me. In my opinion the support you get is just as important as the software itself. With Eclipse my experience has been nothing short of 5 stars!

Pros: The ease of use is definitely a pro. My staff and myself picked up on the software very quickly and easily. I personally liked the ease of customizing each screen. The software I used before required many screens to be used to create a note. Eclipse does a better job with only a fraction of the screens required. The support has been great. I have only had a few issues, but they were responded to quickly and resolved in the same day, sometimes with in an hour or two.

Cons: The only con that I have seen with this software is the extra time i have to spend doing my honey do list instead of paperwork.

(In fact, related touch/gesture updates have been noted in the README that accompanies your updates since at least 2014.) Next, we┬┐re not sure whether you┬┐re referring to clinical documentation or other aspects of a patient┬┐s history. Regardless, for both, wherever possible, typing is actually minimized. For example, ┬┐Range of Motion┬┐ is a pop-up grid that allows you to make virtually all your selections with a few simple clicks. No typing is necessary at all unless you add comments to a specific item. And of course, you can add your own customizations instantly. Though customization is certainly an option, the original templates provided ┬┐as-is┬┐ are in widespread use nationally without any customization whatsoever ┬┐ inclusive of the offices of chiropractors & physical therapists that helped design them. Most recently, Dr. Evan Gwilliam, D.C. of ChiroCode used ECLIPSE documentation to illustrate his newest video: ┬┐The Perfect Note.┬┐

Pros: the company continually monitors new requirements in the medical billing environment leaving little for the user to have to chase for answers

First, EHR training materials are already at your beck & call in the form of webinars, context sensitive documentation and one-on-one help from the Help Desk. Next, we'd agree that scanning is not intuitive. Instead, it's comprehensive. ECLIPSE offers extensive scanning, import & annotation capabilities that go way beyond "single page scanning" and allow you to get the most from its documentation capabilities. You can combine multiple documents into one new document, scan one or more documents and copy them to multiple patients, add electronic post-it notes, redact info, add various graphics (e.g. arrows), assign document-specific permissions, encrypt, and mark them as pending review for a specific provider. EHR related data entry tasks for CMS programs (e.g. MIPS) can be ignored if you don't participate. However, all such data entry is subjected to rigorous live user testing in order to minimize typing.

Comments: When choosing a program there were so many out there, and vast price differences, when I demoed elclipse I initially thought for the low cost how could this be, but it was and has been since we purchased the software. To add its compliance has been tested with several audits including recent Medicare audits and the soap notes have passed 100% compliant every time.

Pros: It is very easy to use, even new staff are using it with ease. I have had other software in past and this software meets all the requirements and more. My soap notes continue to pass compliance tests when requested form insurance companies. This includes recent Medicare audits.

Billions (not millions) of dollars in claims are processed through ECLIPSE annually. And ECLIPSE has directly imported remittance files -- currently in HIPAA mandated ANSI 835 format -- for decades. Finally, thousands of providers use the ECLIPSE Encounter for their clinical documentation. We┬┐re not sure whether you┬┐ve confused us with another system, but we suggest you call the Help Desk or review the wide variety of videos available to you via your ECLIPSE menu. All of these items are thoroughly integrated. Thus, you can, for example, simultaneously generate bills & relevant documentation to your printers and/or one or more electronic formats.

Comments: I spent 4 weeks on Training and wasn't prepared to implement for another 6 weeks after that. I felt that the implementation of totally new way of doing my front office has not come easy. I've used the software since May and I am just feeling comfortable with the basics now. I haven't even thought about using the EHR system yet. I think any system takes a while. I don't have anything to compare to at this point, but I feel this is hard to make the transition.

Pros: I own the product. There is good customer support. I can send my claims out hassle free electronically through my clearing house.

Comments: I absolutely enjoyed working with my rep from the Help Desk. He made my transition to a new clearinghouse much easier by being patient while walking me through every step in order to actually learn how to utilize the software better. It was an added bonus that his personality shines through the phone, is contactable, relatable and enjoys solving problems.

Pros: Customizable to work in any medical office setting, it has EHR capabilities which until recently, was absolutely intimidating, it offers continuous updates and most importantly, the Help Desk Techs are very contactable and extremely helpful (when they are reached). In fact, it wasn't until recent that I began utilizing the Help Desk (which we pay for this monthly), but once I realized how much quicker I could learn the software and decrease the intimidation factor, I now reach out weekly. Hector was the first person to actually allow me to enjoy this product. In fact, his great interpersonal skills over the phone allowed me to become more interested in learning the usages of Eclipse beyond the once limited use my office was acquainted with. The day-to-day usage of this software has exponentially increased efficiencies once I was able to teach my techs how to run daily operating procedures. I look forward to transitioning to EHR as soon as we are able to customize our own SOAP notes and create a user friendly interface... with the Help Desk walking us through every step of the way, of course.

Cons: This software is very intimidating due to its vast capabilities it possesses. It is meant to work throughout any medical office, but for that reason it is very overwhelming. In my chiropractic office we require a much smaller selection of options. Unless, I have someone from the Help Desk walking me through the software, it's like trying to find marbles in a bucket of sand and is time consuming. Though they are always updating the software, it still seems dated. Its layout is just not simple. Certainly not something Steve Jobs created because it is has too much going on and isn't as intuitive as I would like.

Pros: It works consistently and we have never had a database problem.

Cons: I wish there were more flexibility in report writing.

Overall: We began using Eclipse practice management software for electronic billing in 2005. We are still using it now in 2017 and it works yearly flawlessly. Every time I have a problem or a question I am able to call and have assistance that is both conscientious and professional. We do not use the electronic health records components of Eclipse so I cannot speak to the efficacy or efficiency of use in that arena.

Pros: Eclipse gives you exactly what we need to run a successful practice! Insurance filing is made simple and integration with our clearinghouse is seamless. Unlimited help is available Monday through Friday. Eclipse gives you everything you need without the unnecessary bells and whistles that jam things up. I had one software program prior to Eclipse that was overly fancy and hard to use and kept breaking down with poor customer service. Eclipse invented the wheel when it comes to Chiropractic Software! Eclipse is the BEST!!!

Cons: There is only one con. The trainer we had initially was not a good match. I would make sure to recognize your learning style and get someone who will go at your speed and be a good communicator and a people person. I learned more through calling the help center Monday through Friday then I did with hiring one of their trainers.

Comments: Had a software problem and called and got great tech support on this recent issue from the technician. The tech called back a few times until the issue was fully resolved. Recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Pros: Ease of use. Can add custom lines to the templates. The program is very easy to use and understand.

Cons: If you are in a condition and have billed out visits in this condition and if you want to change the diagnosis or adjust it, it will change the diagnosis on any future bills / visits but it also changes the diagnosis on previous billed visits if they need to be re-billed. Sometimes you want to remove portions of a multiple diagnosis as the patient improves.

ECLIPSE has always allowed you to create an unlimited # of conditions for any patient case ┬┐ each of which allows you to manage all the information generally associated with a patient condition (diagnoses, dates, etc.). You┬┐re not expected to edit existing conditions for billed data. Instead, you simply create a new condition, copy the data and make whatever small or large changes may be required ┬┐ a process which generally takes seconds.

Pros: Eclipse gets the job done and I can always reach someone in customer service to help if I have an issue.

Cons: The only thing that has been a little challenging are the itemized statements. Patients have a hard time understanding and reading them.

Comments: Would refer people and have done it I have , excellent advise and gooe customer servive along all

Pros: All facets are easy , I have 5 offices with program, the program is very user freindly and all billing functions are great

Cons: There are no bad program functions , all are excellent and there are no problems, The staff is great and very helpful

Comments: I have been using this product for 23 years and have never considered another program

Pros: The day to day features and EHR are great and very user friendly. Anytime we have a technical issue, their support staff is outstanding!

Cons: I really do not have any dislikes or "cons" regarding this program. I would not be interested in using any other program

Comments: I have used Eclipse for over 15 years, and it is so easy to navigate

Pros: Great program to teach new employees. Easy and to the point. There tech support is wonderful they do not make you feel dumb for asking questions

Comments: We bought a new computer for the doctors office and I had to network to Eclipse....was having difficulty doing so....I called Eclipse and got a wonderful tech to help me through a very tedious job. It took a while but she went above and beyond to help me get it set up and running..... Thanks Eclipse.....

Pros: The tech support is above and beyond. They are always so helpful and courteous. They are very knowledgeable also.

Comments: This software has helped our company tremendously. We've been able to customize the templates to our needs as a multidisciplinary clinic. The SOAP notes are now concise and easy to read, not to mention billing is a breeze! Our contact representative is always available to answer our questions in a timely manner--definitely worth the investment.

Comments: As the title says, this EHR program is really easy to understand and use. I use a first gen Surface Pro and it works great with it. The SOAP notes are really quick and are easily to customize to your liking. The customer support has been great so far in regards to training and learning how the system operates. There are also a lot of features built in to this software that are paid additions on other programs, such as email and text reminders to patients. The user interface is not the prettiest to look at but then again neither am I...

Pros: Easy to learn. Very customizable. Nice built in features. Scheduling, SOAP notes, Reports, Billing, all-in-one.

Cons: Not the best looking User Interface

Comments: Yesterday I had a question on how to set up providers┬┐.. Called Eclipse after using this company for years, I have to say this one call was one of the best help and response call that we/I have received regarding speed, efficiency and help from ECLIPE. I do appreciate all the hard working folks that help us out with all our questions in the past. But I need to personally thank one really special person that kept me from tears the last two days. ┬┐ See I hit the wrong button a lost data .I was overwhelmed had patients to deal with and patients in the waiting room called Eclipse got right through and talked to a very competent person by the name of M........... .She was wonderful. She helped me through a very bad day she stayed on the phone with me. Then promised to call the next morning and did just that. Then went above and beyond and stayed the phone with me until the problem was fixed. I thank GOD I had her there to help me. I t was a rough day..So thank you thank you . She needs a raise!!! Comments: Galactek has created such a user friendly software that allows you to customize certain aspects to further accommodate your needs. Comments: The software is easy to use and navigate. They charge fee for the customer sevice but it's worth it. This one needs an improvement on acupuncture templates. This didn't have enough templates.

Existing templates can be customized easily; new templates can just as easily be created from scratch. Custom ECLIPSE templates are currently used in a variety of specialties. Comments: We have had the Eclipse Software program for 13 years. It is a program that is easy to work with and plenty of very helpful support. It has all the functionality to run a large multi-doctor clinic but is still easy to use for a small clinic like ours.

Pros: The support team is VERY helpful when help is needed!

Comments: I really like Eclipse. It is easy to use and billing is a snap.

Recommendations to other buyers: Train train train. The more you know the better the product is. Eclipse is constantly getting better. Each time there is an update they provide an outline describing the new features. Read this document as it will let you know all the new stuff the program can do.
