My overall experience with Eclipse has been positive. I am a solo practitioner in a small office. I started back in the days of paper claims and printing on claim forms. I was old school and didn't know how the jump to the EHR was going to go and I found Eclipse 15 or so years ago. They navigated me through the set up and interfaced me through all elements of their program. Any compatibility hiccups with computer and clearinghouse issues over the years were dealt with in a timely fashion and the support staff has always been friendly, patient an efficient. I recommend this company without hesitation.

Pros

I have been with Eclipse for around 15 years. They have always been top notch with customer support and great with the little things like helping close out the year's records and backing up procedures. I always judged a company on how they navigate you through the hiccups. We always expect efficiency and reliability of a product, so stating the product works as promised should be automatic. In the tangled world of healthcare, glitches are going to happen. I have been more impressed with Eclipse ability to right the ship when insurance changes and coding requirements have occurred over the years. I have never had a security breach issue over the years, so I have peace of mind with records safety. I have looked at what other options are out there and no one has impressed me as competition to look elsewhere.

Cons

I don't have many complaints. If I had to list any grievances, it would be the price increase. I know they are still good for the value ,but small offices still feel those increases when they occur.

Overall, I am glad we do not use this system anymore. I do not like anything about it and I think it's too dated to have as a permanent system. I'm glad we switched to something new.

Pros

Honestly, there isn't much I like about Eclipse. I think this system is dated, extremely confusing to navigate and makes my computer crash every time I go back into it.

Cons

There are a lot of things I don't like. I think it needs an update, it makes my computer spaz out every time I open the system and it's extremely hard to navigate. It doesn't make sense how you download documents, and that process itself take a very long time.

Based on your comments, we expect you are using an older version of our legacy Windows product, did not interact with our Help Desk, never took advantage of the free training we provide &amp; did not maintain a subscription for updates? On any given day, over 10,000 users manage to work with our Windows product without the issues you describe -- includng our own practice. We're sorry you had a negative experience and seem unaware of other products like ECLIPSE EHR Cloud. -- Dr. Walters

Eclipse kept statistics, billing, different doctor #'s and customer service was always spot on, however I didn't have to use it that often. I highly recommend this software and company.

Pros

Extremely Stable platform, I started with Eclipse in 1992 when I opened my own office. They stayed up to date with updates, very user friendly.

Cons

Their note taking part was good also, even though I did not spend that much time setting up the parameters

easy to use, but hard to manage since it used to go down all the time

went down all the time. Although the billing in it is easy, it hard to have to manage all the billing once it comes back up

Hi Emily! Based on the reported size of your practice & company initials, we can't seem to identify you as a client! We train our cloud users live 1-on-1 -- so we tend to know them pretty well. Are you referring to our Windows software? Tens of thousands of users are on that product with zero downtime. Perhaps you've confused us with another company (it's happened before)? If not, we're sorry we didn't meet your expectations. Our own mult-disciplinary practice used the Windows version for decades.

overall, its a great system. once you have used it for awhile, everything is very easy to find and its a great way to keep track of all the information entered into it.

Pros

the patient intake. like i said earlier, its super easy to get through and all the fields needed are right in front of you.

the initial start up was a little tricky, but as its used more and more the easier it gets

It has been positive. The documentation features are great. If you have a problem the help desk has always helped.

Pros

The notes are customizable. It makes documenting patient encounters easy. The full-body encounter makes the daily soap and new patient encounters quick to document.

Cons

The reports of the practice statistics could be better. Such as knowing the lifetime visits for each patient or provider.

In general, my experience with ECLIPSE was not very long, but in the short time that I have used it, I can highlight that it is a complete software and that it met all the needs and requirements requested by the company where I was working. It is a software that I would use again but that it has many more features since the world of technology must always advance.

Pros

ECLIPSE is a complete medical management software that helped me and my work team a lot. The positive points that I personally highlight the most is that it complies with HIPAA requirements, which guarantees the privacy and security of patient information, as well It features robust patient record management functionality, allowing healthcare professionals to efficiently store and access records, and this goes hand-in-hand with the ability to schedule appointments and manage billing. And finally, its multi-location function that allows medical practices to manage operations in various locations, facilitating collaboration and coordination between the offices of the company in which you work.

Cons

As a first negative point I can say that learning to use this software must be complicated like any other, but there is not much help information about it. And as a last negative point is that the customization of the system is not very extensive and complete to fully satisfy the needs of the company.

Pros

We have been using Eclipse for 20+ years and have found it to be an all-inclusive chiropractic software, from practice management to EHR and billing. Eclipse is progressive and keep my office up to date with the latest changes in the industry.

Cons

Really nothing. We keep learning new features to make daily use more seamless.
