Pros

My father has used Eclipse for over 15 years and I (the younger generation) over 7. The platform is comprehensive and easy to use. The updates are helpful and easy to install. Costumer services is quick, friendly and extremely helpful. I love that I able to import 835 and reprocesses the claims.

Yesterday I had a question on how to set up providers….. Called Eclipse after using this company for years, I have to say this one call was one of the best help and response call that we/I have received regarding speed, efficiency and help from ECLIPE. I do appreciate all the hard working folks that help us out with all our questions in the past. But I need to personally thank one really special person that kept me from tears the last two days. … See I hit the wrong button a lost data .I was overwhelmed had patients to deal with and patients in the waiting room called Eclipse got right through and talked to a very competent person by the name of M........... .She was wonderful. She helped me through a very bad day she stayed on the phone with me. Then promised to call the next morning and did just that. Then went above and beyond and stayed the phone with me until the problem was fixed. I thank GOD I had her there to help me. I t was a rough day..So thank you thank you . She needs a raise!!! Sincerely, Virginia

CONS…. I WISH I HAD MORE TRAINING I THINK THIS IS GREAT SOFTWARE. I JUST DON'T KNOW HOW TO COMPLETELY USE IT. It can do a lot more then I’m using it for. Thanks M................for the tips!!!

User friendly and system is easy to learn and comprehend.

Pros

Very knowledgeable about system. We lost data after upgrading. Were able to restore data even though our back up was not up to date.

Cons

No cons. Helpful every time we have called. Only thing we do not like is the statement where it lists how old a bill is.

The product is easy to maneuver through once you get the hang of it and very well categorized . You can learn it easy without training.

Cons

One con that i can think of is tabs. I believe the tabs could be better arranged, however its really no big deal, its just a personal setup preference.

The biggest pro about this system is there awesome tech support. They are very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Would not run my office without them.

Cons

Would like to see more quick strokes on the appointment scheduler. Could be enhanced to be faster for the user.

Pros

I think that the technical support is top notch. I have been particularly impressed by your employee Hector Domenech. He is always willing to give that extra level of service to make sure that our system is running smooth and safe.

Cons

I would like to be able to move the various complaint tabs, save them and have them remain in the same order. I would like to be able to be able to completely edit out some of the standard information in the EHR notes.

I would recommend Eclypse to any Chiropractic office

Pros

Eclypse is very easy to use and easy to understand. The technical support is quick, and they are very patient.

Cons

Screens could be more combined with the information. When you get used to where to go on the screen it's great.

Pros

I don't get any complaints about the program from the Front Desk or the Billing department which keeps my office running smoothly. The program loads quickly, the database is stable and the IT department is FANTASTIC!!!

Cons

There is no Eclipse User Group that I am aware of. Like any Electronic Health Record program, the doctor needs to continually update the program as State and Federal regulations dictate. It would be nice to have a User Group and to create Templates in Eclipse. It would be very helpful for all users to view other doctors Encounter setups to help construct verbiage when they are setting up their own EHR.

I was part of a practice which used Eclipse for many years before using Eclipse in my own practice. I found it simple to navigate and was able to learn the system quickly. As my needs changed in the practice I was able to modify Eclipse for accommodation. Recently I began utilizing the e-mail blast to send out pertinent messages to my patients. Long hours of making reminder phone calls special scheduled appointments are no longer necessary. A few clicks of the mouse and I am able to send a message out.

Pros

The customer service team is knowledgeable and professional. They listen and go the extra mile to ensure that the problem is rectified, or the issue addressed. I love that Eclipse is able to be customized to the ever-changing needs of our profession, in addition to the needs of my office. The schedule allows me to follow not only the Patient appointment visits, but also the special tests and consultations which the Patients are scheduled for.

Cons

None. Customer service has been able to fix any issue I have had.

Pros

Our rep has been wonderful with any questions or concerns with the software. She can has helped with any problems we've had, whether it be installation, everyday questions, backing up, EHR attesting and requirements, or just about anything! And if she can't answer our questions or help, she will find someone who will!

Cons

I came from a software that was run on DOS. So this software was a whole new change for me. Our old one was very simplistic. There are lots of options with Eclipse, which is a good thing. It's just overwhelming for someone who isn't used to that type of system.

As you noted, jumping from a 1980’s or 90’s era DOS based program to one that’s kept pace with the needs of thousands of practicing providers during that same period can be somewhat daunting. Perhaps you’ve noted how ECLIPSE carefully separates data entry screens that contain everyday basics from more advanced tabs that are just a click away? This design strategy exists throughout the product. And the interest charges you mentioned are available directly from the main “Billing” menu. But we’d agree: ECLIPSE is a robust system and certainly requires more training in 2014 than it did in 1986 to find less commonly used features. The ECLIPSE Encounter has extensive online HELP along with related blog entries & webinars. Though most doctors use the Encounter as-is with little or no modification, you can make a wide variety of customizations in seconds using the context sensitive menu options.

As of this writing I have very limited cons to this software. One thing I would like to see it be available for the Ipad.

Can get a bit teadus entering all the EOBs in manually, but that lets you see what you still need to collect and follow up on.

Thanks for your review. The Help Desk has reached out to explain how to automatically import & apply electronic EOB remittance information – which we’ve been handling for decades. Also, if your claims clearinghouse is Infinedi, ECLIPSE will find, download & prompt you for remittance & acknowledgements as you submit claims. EOB’s received as paper checks can be applied manually during a single bulk entry operation to multiple patients. Finally, paper EOB’s can easily be scanned to one or more patient files in a few steps.

Cons

The initial price but you get what you pay for. The Help desk you also have to wait for a call back.

I am used to switching software, as I have worked for a few doctors over the years. Eclipse is the friendliest, easiest one to work with, and the customer service is one billion times faster and more accomedating than Chiro Touch. Eclipse is way ahead of the curve on customizing their technology to your office's needs. It is also easy to navigate and updates regularly to the ever-changing medical requirements. I'd recommend it to any office looking to change. Support is free forever too!!!!! Other companies always charged us for updates and customer support, and if you really look at your bills thoroughly, it is kind of a rip off, full of hidden charges. Eclipse will not do that to you. It seems they really care about the happiness of their clients, rather than making money off of them. Check out a demo!

Pros

As stated above, the customization options.

Cons

None. Any issues had always been easy to fix.

Pros

Pros

I like the fact that I can very quickly review DOS, charges, how much a payer paid, and how much a patient paid. I can also see if the DOS should have been processed by the insurance all in one screen. Also, I like that if the same charges are used on each visit, you do not have to re-enter them every time.

Cons

You cannot enter a bulk check total amount and post all payments on different patients until all money has been posted. If this benefit was available, it would make for less errors.

We appreciate your comments & asked your trainer to reach out to you so you can feel more comfortable with how conditions & billing work in ECLIPSE. The first data entry field for each condition is a start date that allows you to control how commingled services are assigned when you generate bills (specifically for the type of situation you mentioned). We’ve been using the existing statements with many thousands of patients in my multi-disciplinary practice over a period of decades without any issues. However, one of the great features of ECLIPSE is the open database standard that allows you to have your own programmer use the SQL or ODBC interface to create custom statements. I believe a variety of custom statements are for sale by several firms.

Pros

It has been very reliable, and generally pretty easy for staff to learn.

Cons

I just cannot use the EHR/charting component. I do not find it user friendly and it takes forever to enter a complicated new patient. I treat a lot of work comp and PI patients, and I have never been happy with how long it takes to enter a new patient. Once all the data is in the encounter record subsequent visits are pretty quick. However, because of this issue I am now researching other EHR software for my practice.
