We bought a new computer for the doctors office and I had to network to Eclipse....was having difficulty doing so....I called Eclipse and got a wonderful tech to help me through a very tedious job. It took a while but she went above and beyond to help me get it set up and running..... Thanks Eclipse.....

Pros

The tech support is above and beyond. They are always so helpful and courteous. They are very knowledgeable also.

Pros

Simply put, the software works. It's easy to use for all of my employees. The vendor has made continuous improvements in the software so that it does not become outdated. I have been using Eclipse for over 10 years to run my current six offices, as well as doing billing for an additional seven offices outside of my practice. Working with the vendor has been easy and allowed me to grow seamlessly. The reports are flexible and easy to produce, allowing me to carefully monitor the practices.

Cons

While they do have an excellent EHR program, I felt I needed a different program for my offices. The great thing is that they offer the ability for other EHR programs to integrate directly into Eclipse, giving the client a lot more flexibility in customizing what works for them. That open, forward thinking is what separates them from other software vendors.

Pros

Eclipse is extremely user-friendly. I love the billing portion. I bill my whole practice electronically in less than 5 minutes. They also have superior customer service when you call for help. They're always very professional and helpful.

Cons

Honestly, I have been using this product for 15 years, and there really isn't anything that I don't like about it.

We have been in business for 15 years and used a variety of software products - ECLIPSE is by far the best! We purchased ECLIPSE in December of 2011 and implemented scheduling, billing and our notes immediately. The ECLIPSE team not only took the time to thoroughly train our team but have also been more than available for every possible question we have had along the way. The product is superior to all the rest and does everything they say it does and more. We have had nothing but great experiences since we started using the software and continue to be amazed how much more it is capable of doing to help keep us as efficient as possible. ECLIPSE is easy to learn and user-friendly. We use the software to send our claims electronically, post remits electronically, send patient statement, hold health records, run reports and statistics and schedule. Everything integrates and helps us stay organized. We would highly recommend ECLIPSE and their incredible support team!

### "Easy to Used, All Inclusive EHR"

As the title says, this EHR program is really easy to understand and use. I use a first gen Surface Pro and it works great with it. The SOAP notes are really quick and are easily to customize to your liking. The customer support has been great so far in regards to training and learning how the system operates. There are also a lot of features built in to this software that are paid additions on other programs, such as email and text reminders to patients. The user interface is not the prettiest to look at but then again neither am I...

Pros

Easy to learn. Very customizable. Nice built in features. Scheduling, SOAP notes, Reports, Billing, all-in-one.

Cons

Not the best looking User Interface

The audit log is tamper proof, was certified to government standards in 2011, has been used by prosecutors to pursue theft-related convictions, and can show you directly which user deleted an appointment from the scheduler (and when). Audit reports can be generated to your screen with a variety of information and have extensive sorting & filtering capabilities.

We have had the Eclipse Software program for 13 years. It is a program that is easy to work with and plenty of very helpful support. It has all the functionality to run a large multi-doctor clinic but is still easy to use for a small clinic like ours.

Pros

After giving this product a less than great review initially, I was called the next day by the salesman I dealt with when buying, who worked to find solutions to my frustrations. He was very helpful, and I was impressed that the company read the review so fast. I would now be more likely to tell a colleague to check them out, but if they have the money they may consider at least looking at touch-screen software, that is going to be a good bit more pricy.

Cons

Though I feel the company regrets that I have been unhappy with tech support and will try to improve it, I still have not been completely satisfied. Also, lots of time spent clicking and moving mouse to the same small drop box, which without touchscreen I think this is unavoidable.

I’ve been a user of Eclipse since I first opened my practice in 1991 and it was running in DOS. Over the years they have always answered all my questions, helped me fix all my mistakes, and always kept me equipped with the latest tools I need for today’s world of electronic healthcare records. It keeps my data safe, secure, and most important accurate. If Eclipse says it’s so, it is so. A couple of years ago when NYS changed the workers compensation billing forms, Eclipse had the new one ready and downloaded in an update ahead of schedule. Many of my friends with other programs where worrying if their vendors would ever get around to adding the forms and Eclipse was already done. Each and every time there has been a change in reporting standards, Eclipse has always out-performed my expectations! In today’s scary world of healthcare changes, don’t let your software be part of the problem. Get Eclipse and you never have to look back!

### "Good features for a practice but too complex to learn"

Seems to have a lot of good features for the practice, such as patient database, SOAP notes, billing plus appointment scheduler, and reminders.

Cons

Too complex to learn to use, and so many layers, pathways, and criteria to memorize that implementation has been put on hold. Stressfully complicated. Steep learning curve and pathways that are not intuitive to use. Training available only by phone and online. Training moves too quickly for non-technology wiz users.

Dr. Ross, you’ve never used ECLIPSE in your practice, have never been trained on ECLIPSE (other than a few basics of patient data entry), missed & rescheduled training sessions, and have never -- during any of your interactions with the HELP Desk or your trainer -- indicated any degree of frustration or dissatisfaction with either the product or service you’ve received since your purchase 8 weeks ago. Thus, we were quite surprised to read about your unhappiness in an online review evaluating the software. We attempted to contact you to learn how we could help… but you haven’t returned our calls.

After using two "cloud" systems and having one company going bankrupt and our records and billings lost in space, I have been with Eclipse for the past 2 years, and highly recommend it to my colleagues. I got the full $18,000 for Meaningful Use last year and Eclipse walked me through the process. I am getting ready to file this year and don't anticipate any problems. If I have any issue, I get in touch with Ryan Weaver and he always either solves it, or points me in the right direction to get it solved. We went with two other companies prior to Eclipse that were visually stunning but who wants fancy graphics? I want something that works day after day, from a company with an unmatched track record and years of service to the healthcare industry. Eclipse fits the bill on all of those issues and I have no regrets giving Eclipse my highest recommendation.

I have been a user of Eclipse for about 17 years. I used it as a office manager at my husband's chiropractic office. I loved the program and the details it allowed us to track. In 2003 my partner and I opened up a our own billing company for chiropractors. It was a natural choice for us to use Eclipse. Eclipse software is growing and changing to meet the demands that the insurance companies are constantly putting on billing companies. I love that it is all-inclusive software. They do not nickel and dime you for every feature you want; it's a one stop shop. Maintenance and all updates, additions and changes are included. From entering charges to tracking an authorization to entering a soap note to making an appointment to doing electronic billing and most importantly EHR records, the program does it all. It's the best buy in the industry.

I have had multiple billing software before. By far Eclipse is the best. I have been using it for the past 20 years. It is easy to use and adapt it to your office needs. The tech support is extremely friendly and more importantly they are available. You talk to a human as oppose to leaving a message and they call you 3 days after.

Pros

I like the fact that each patient can have multiple cases which could be used in a multidisciplinary environment or per insurance whatever your heart desires. I also like the reporting capability.

Pros

I have used this program for over 23 years, and it has developed into a program that can meet the needs of nearly any type of practice. I am a 100% cash practice now, and I just got off the phone with a member of their sales team, who showed me features I had no idea were already built into my program to accommodate my new practice style from the insurance practice I used to have. They have always been honest and responded quickly to requests. The help desk is always right on the mark and often goes above and beyond to get our problem solved.

Cons

Due to an awesome development team, there are now no drawbacks whatsoever.

Pros

One of the best features of Eclipse is its ability to be able to customize the features to the needs of the office. That is why I feel so comfortable recommending it to my friends. It doesn't matter if they are PT, OT, Chiropractic, or Medical, Eclipse can handle everything.

Cons

To be honest, after using the software for over 14 years, there isn't anything I can think of to complain about. The support is wonderful, and we still have the same sales rep and trainer that originally trained our office. They keep updating to keep up with the times.

We own a chiropractic center in Brookfield, WI. We have used ECLIPSE for about 16 years and have been very happy with its applications and how easy it is to use. By far the most impressive aspect of the system is the support people. Laura is our personal representative and always goes out of her way to assist with any issues that might come up. They always return phone calls quickly and are always willing to train new staff. Before this program we used others that were too confusing to new staff and the doctors. We were always frustrated and eventually disenchanted. ECLIPSE has streamlined our front office and put fun into functional support equipment. I would give them an A+ on all levels.

### "Good but missing a few things"

I have used this software for 3 years and although it is a definite step up from the previous software I had there are a few things I definitely wish was there. As an example I wish there were ways and places to quickly pop ups on the screen key items about the patient (levels of fusion, problems with certain adjustments, etc). Drop down menus are nice but don't quite including de enough and I constantly need to add to it to meet my needs.

When choosing a program there were so many out there, and vast price differences, when I demoed elclipse I initially thought for the low cost how could this be, but it was and has been since we purchased the software. To add its compliance has been tested with several audits including recent Medicare audits and the soap notes have passed 100% compliant every time.

Pros

It is very easy to use, even new staff are using it with ease. I have had other software in past and this software meets all the requirements and more. My soap notes continue to pass compliance tests when requested form insurance companies. This includes recent Medicare audits.
