"Create a professional community that looks like a social network "

Overall: In general, I am very happy with BuddyBoss, building the website was challenging on some parts but most of the issues just required going through the documentation or contacting support. The features are great and the price is not bad at all. You can definitely build something impressive using this plugin.

Pros: The feed part works just like Facebook or Linkedin, people can share things there and other users can reply, like, report, etc. The groups are very well thought out and easy to manage. The integration with LearnDash could make your community look like a very professional online academy. The messaging system is great, let users communicate to each other on real time.

Cons: Building the registration form could be confusing. Many things to improve the community require premium plugins. Support could be faster.

"The best social Learning platform plugin for WordPress"

Overall: I'm verry happy to be a buddyboss user, it saved me thousands of dollars in creating the best social Learning platform and app for my clients in just few days. My best feature in buddyboss is been able to embed zoom meetings in the platform as if i was the one hosting the meeting

Pros: Buddyboss is so Amazing, i love their themes user interface. They have add in all the features we lack with buddypress into one plugin and also created room for integrating with third party plugins and Platforms like zoom, Learndash, gamipress etc. I also like the idea of adding the mobile app thus saving us lot of money to hire an agency. There are lot of tutorials on how to setup both the platform and theme.

Cons: Buddyboss is probably the best social Learning plugin for WordPress but still have some bugs dew to numeros updates which at Times Can brake websites, i think the customer support is also lazy dew to the thousands of tickets they have

That being said, with the complexity of our product we have an extremely thorough quality assurance testing before we release updates and fixes, but with the vast repository of plugins and services out there our customers have access to when building their sites, means we can never cover them all and sometimes bugs slip through the net. I want to assure you our support team is very hard working and doing their best, and processing times can slow down after big releases due to the influx of support tickets with not just tech support but customer questions and customisations. "Ok theme, but pages fail to rank on Google"

Overall: Good customer service although they didn't understand why my pages were ranking.

Pros: I like that they have an app, however the app is ridiculously expensive. I like that I had the opportunity to buy a lifetime license, however, I don't even want to use it anymore so it was a waste.

Cons: I think it's the theme and not Learndash itself. Only one to three pages are ranking on Google. I liked the old theme 'social learner' but they upgraded to a newer version which is not as good. I originally bought social learner even though it hadn't been updated in three to four years. I ended up changing it to the newest version even though I liked it less but the newest version had an app and was continuously updated.

"Great Idea But Terrible Costumer & Technical Support"

Overall: When there's a problem they don't provide you with any ETA or details about the issue and can leave you up in the air with a broken app without you knowing if it will take days or months to get fixed.

Pros: I love the idea in general and I have used it since 2020. Makes you manage it in a very intuitive through Wordpress.

Cons: Slow development, unrealistic roadmap and the worst costumer and technical support I have seen in the field.

Switched From: Subsplash and MobiLoud
Reasons for Switching to BuddyBoss: Because we thought there was more flexibility with the product itself which is true but costumer and technical support does not live up to the premium price you pay.

"Don't use BuddyBoss until they improve their support"

Overall: Very unhappy. Warning people to not invest in this as a membership site.

Pros: The platform is decent. Support-not so much.

Cons: Do not use this company unless you want to get a ton of membership people on your site and have your site go down for 5 days due to a theme code problem. Back and forth with them and Beaver Builder- BuddyBoss said it was BeaverBuilder's fault and they had to fix it. Beaver Builder said no and actually had documentation on who was responsible. Beaver Builder fixed Buddy Boss's code. That is the only reason my site is running currently. And do you think I am looking for a canned LMS system where I don't have to worry about theme vs plugin compatibility? Well after 5 years, I am now. And their support sent me an email for the complaint department that doesn't even work?? It is now day 6 since my site went down and someone is finally getting back to me but has not fixed anything. Do not invest in this platform unless you want a huge headache and to lose thousands of dollars in business.
