Teacher Education Management Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "An Educator’s Secret Weapon" March 1, 2023 5.0 I have had wonderful experiences with this platform and their staff. The software has been a fabulously efficient game changer for analyzing student work and data. I have had the opportunity to work with a few staff members at school lyrics while completing some professional development, and they all have been courteous, knowledgeable, and open to new ideas and suggestions. Pros Schoolytics has streamlined all of my student data and put it in one place. I love being able to break out my subgroups to see who is mastering the content and who needs enrichment and intervention. Within the program I can create and track my own subgroups, save data and even generate reports to share with all the learners supporters. Cons I would like to see more enhanced versions of the high five messages. Such as messages that acknowledge grit, diligence and improvement. Their team has been really supportive and responsive as they helped us get onboarded and tried to help us make the most of our Schoolytics subscription! Pros Schoolytics has been a huge boost to our teachers' efficiency while grading. They can find all of the assignments that need to be graded in one convenient list. They can send out progress reports to students, or even better, lists of missing work that are customized for each student, with links to each Google Classroom assignment that is missing! High fives are also a big hit - teachers can automatically generate encouraging messages for all students who have turned in a certain percentage of their work. This is huge - the students who are working hard and succeeding are often not recognized for that! Cons The user interface can be tricky to navigate if you want to dig into the data on your own. There are quite a few premade reports, and more are being added over time. But to figure something out that doesn't have a premade report already, you will need the help of an account manager. " March 1, 2023 5.0 Their staff is unbelievably amazing. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. Pros I love how easy it is to track late work, missing work, and assignments to grade. It makes these tasks so easy. It has also made communication with students and parents so much easier, faster, and effective. Cons This software is expensive for a small institution like ours, but we're hoping to get enough staff on board to make the cost worthwhile. Reason for choosing Schoolytics Hands down, the quality, excitement, and kindness of the staff. That was more important than any technological benefit. ICTL Director Education Management Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Schoolytics " March 2, 2023 5.0 An excellent product and service (very helpful support) - one with an encouraging outlook (impressed by their rapid and careful development of quality features) Pros Easy of use and flexibility in filtering / finding assessment data /information Cons Some feature limitations around customising progress reports and control over running student notes (effectively an early form of a wellbeing function which allows teachers to track comments on students) - having flagged these, I think the product is excellent at doing what it is intended to do - these are more nice to have features which would seem to be on the edge of what Schoolytics has really been designed for. Teacher Religious Institutions Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Helpful and Time Saving " March 8, 2023 5.0 Pros Most useful features used to date are the ability to see assignments on the dashboard feature. This has been a great time saving function since all missing assignments, late assignments and to grade assessments are all found in one place and are easily accessible. Another helpful and encouraging feature is the that it calculates the % of assignments to grade and turned in and it is a good motivation to get the % up. Cons At this point I have not experienced anything dissatisfying with the product. Some issues in the past with it was when sending emails to students regarding missing work it sent assessments marked 0 with the missing even if students had in fact turned in the assignment and scored 0. Maybe there is a way to do it and I haven't figured it out, I would like to be able to save the metrics for certain reports such as high fives and missing assignments. I like that I can easily see students that are not engaged in Google Classroom as well. Cons I would like to be able to make custom reports rather than the ones that are included. Pros I like the feature that shows what I still need to grade. I also liked the feature that emails students what their missing assignments were on Google Classrooms. It helped save sooo much time not having to print out paper reports. Cons When clicking on the assignments to grade, it wasn't as seemless to grade them as I had hoped. Review Source FM Fred M. The dashboard is straight forward and easy to navigate too. Pros I really like the visual aspect of all the data that it pulls. I think it helps teachers, students and staff understand where a students progress is. It allows for better communication between teacher and students and their family, and it saves our teachers time.
